Nice place but the food is not that good. Shish Kebob was bland and«fresh salad» wasn’t fresh.

OMG… this place is amazing. we came in late at night and experienced the greatest service. loved how they treated us as a newly married couple. we ordered our song, they were happy to put it for us. After our romantic tango they brought a Champagne for us to celebrate. We are here in Miami for our honeymoon, so it was really pleasant and nice feeling. The food was great and delicious. Overall we had a great night out here in this place. Recommend all lovely couples to try this place out. Thank you

Walked in on a whim after the first place I tried going was closed for brunch. While they were not busy they were attentive. The dishes were unique and very well done. My favorite was the chicken ravioli soup. It was so simple yet so different from anything I’ve ever had. I’d try them again.

Order anything and everything. If you like Russian food, go. There’s a $ 20 liquor corking fee and $ 10 for champagne, beer or wine. Great service and good vibe.

Personally I think a 3 star is bad, but since Unilocal said it means«A-OK» I’m just going to follow instructions. It is a pretty fancy establishment with the elegantly folded napkins and all, which is quite different from what I was expecting at a «Kebab House.» We went at around 3PM so it was very quite and peaceful. I started with the shurpa soup, which is lamb with vegetables. The broth itself was decent, but most of the lamb was so overcooked in not the good way that it tasted like mush. My entrée was the lamb shish kebab. It had giant chunks of hearty undercooked meat which may or may not have given me food poisoning(I’m not going to hold it against them though since I ate a lot of random things while on vacation and I can’t pinpoint to a real culprit). You can pick sides of basmati rice /potatoes /steamed vegetables, all were pretty flavorless. The little pile of radish salad on the side was pretty good though. Conclusion: food was decent but definitely not great. Considering prices were on the high side($ 22.50 for the lamb entrée and $ 7.5 for the small bowl of soup) I’m not a huge fan.

We had a dinner party for 19, last night, at this great Russian Restaurant, located in Sunny Isles. Coming from Chicago and our typical predicable mediocre bunch of Russian restaurants, we had hour expectations set low for the 50th anniversary party dinner. We were surprised, entertained, well fed and pleased. The food was fresh, and well prepared Russian standard. The tuna tartare was stand out. The entertainment was typical, live, canned, dance music, and pretty good, for live Dj/kareoke that I have come to be skeptical of. The managers are friendly, the room is bright, fresh and elegant, and the wait staff was great. If you want a Russian restaurant experience when in Miami area, whether you are Russian or not, give Lula a try.

Simply loved this place! Samsa was great, charcho soup was wonderful, Shish-kebab was very tender but still needed sauce served to bring flavor. But overall, a great experience and delicious food

Awesome lunch! A customer took us for lunch this week to this place. I’ve never tried Russian cuisine and I must admit everything was awesome. Started with soup that was«cold and pink». We learned quickly that Russian tradition includes vodka with lunch or dinner so in true Russian fashion we had shots accompanied by pickles, that’s right pickles. We also had some awesome cucumber salad, egg salad, a pastry type pie with lamb inside and finished the meal with pork and chicken kebabs. Topped off of course by more vodka shots. The place has a entertainment Friday, Saturday and Sunday eves. Definitely going back with wifey! Give em a shot

Lamb chops, Samsa and roasted potatoes were the best! Waitstaff very nice and intuitive. Seriously the samsa is a large puff pastry filled with lamb and onion and cumin. It is tasty and the lamb filling is not ground lamb. Roasted potatoes had fresh rosemary on them that upped the level of a common spud. Delish. Even the basmati rice was a good vehicle to sop up the juice of the lamb. Tasty. Trout needed spice and I like the skin a bit more crispy. Wish I had a bigger stomach to try more stuff.

The food is pretty good — but I’m not sure if it’s worth the price. Example: Chicken kabob will set you back $ 17, and although the portion size is good, they use thigh meat, which isn’t exactly the priciest part of a bird. Granted, many Russians I know prefer the taste of dark meat, but my American sensibilities can’t get around paying $ 17 for some thigh.(The last time I saw thigh that expensive was at a bachelor party.) Anyway, the borscht is good — sometimes great — almost justifying the cost. I switched to the $ 18 Lula Kabob on our last visit and liked it — I just wish it was priced better for what it is(ground meat). Ultimately, if you don’t mind the price, this is some good Russian food.

The food here is decent. I am not an expert on Russian or middle eastern food by any stretch, but most of the people who eat here and work here are Russian and/or Jewish(it’s sunny isles after all). The samsas are huge and tasty. The kebabs are good as well. They come with a dipping sauce that I would describe as very salsa-esque. My biggest gripe about this place is the price. Over $ 50 for 2 kebab entrees and 2 samsas is too high in my opinion. Especially considering the food fell into the«good not great» category for me. It’s right across the street from me, so I will probably be back, but I won’t be in a huge rush to return.
