7-Eleven has recently stepped up its game. My most convenient location, after having lived in a city that disallows 7-Eleven and fast food based on city ordinances, I appreciate the closeness for my lazy, late night needs. Why It’s Awesome: –Sugar free slurpees less than a block away. Score! Not all locations carry the sf variety so i was stoked to see the offerings. −7−11 brand is on point! From their own line of ice cream, chips and even lower calorie popcorn, they’ve certainly stepped it up since the chain’s birth. Actually, their low calorie popcorn ranks as one of my top favorites among the many brands I’ve tried. Game, set, match, 7 – 11. –Coffee. Now don’t think it holds a candle to Philz, but for the reasonable pricing, extensive mix ins selection(sf caramel and even pumpkin creamer), and the many coffee flavors, it is pretty much . –Healthy snacks — No longer does 7 – 11 only offer anything that ends in «eetos»(Doritos, Cheetos, Fritos). You can find protein bars, especially Quest bars, at so many locations and even green yogurts. Although pricing for products can be a bit higher based on convenience factor($ 2 bottle o’ water), other items can be quite a steal. In summary, 7 – 11 has stepped up its game. And considering they have healthy and awesome items, it is actually a place that will get my business.

Stuff can be expensive, but it’s 7⁄11. They have deals on drinks and food every now and then. Staff is always nice.

Realizing that the taco truck down the way only accepted cash, we hit up the ATM in here to get some scratch. Did you know that Perrier Orange is a 7 – 11 exclusive? Me neither. Those are two of the last companies Id think were in cahoots but it’s true. 2 for $ 2…

This is your standard, overpriced 7 – 11, but comes with a lot of hoodlums loitering about the premises. They share the corner space(on Fair Oaks and Old San Francisco) with a gas station and laundromat, so what kind of crowd do you expect it to attract? Was sitting in my car the other night at the side of 7 – 11 waiting to meet a friend, who lives down the street, and four randoms just spark up a session right next to me outside my passenger side window. Granted, I don’t care at all and would’ve liked an invitation, but it just gives you an idea of how things operate over here. The owners are an Indian couple and the man is sometimes short, but the lady is typically friendly. Usually only come over here if I’m in the area eating lengua(some pretty good taquerias in close proximity) and need to get something quick like a pack of cigarettes or donate more to the lottery fund.

If I’m not at home then you can probably find me here. It’s been a go-to late night food binge stop for years now. The store is well organized, clean, well-stocked and safe(let’s hope). But what I really like about it is that the store clerks are pretty entertaining. They often ask me if I am there on my lunch break, even if it’s 1am on a Saturday night. Once they asked if I was married, and I played along and said I had a husband and 5 little ones at home. At the time I was 16. Where else can you have some fun while stopping by to grab a soda and some peanut flavored M&M’s to fulfill a late night food craving? Oh! And the best part is that it’s open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, can you believe it?! But hmmm, I guess that’s every 7 – 11. Ok, so the truth is that I just go here because it’s closest to my house.

It’s an OK place. Clean place and the clerk was friendly and efficient. Prices… well those were a little higher than expected. Several of the 7-Eleven’s around the area are some what cheaper than here. If you just need a snack or drink right now it’s a quick spot to stop by.

This has been one of the cleanest most well organized 7 – 11 stores I’ve been a patron of. The store is a bit small even for a 7 – 11 but they don’t seem to be missing any wants/needs or your local 7 – 11 store. They often have discounts on Gatorade which is good for us during football season; currently they’re offering 21.5 liter Gatorade for $ 5. They also seem to be one of the last 7 – 11 stores that carry my favorite beef jerky, the pepper flavored Jack Links along with the standard Slurpee’s, nachos, hot dogs, beers, etc. We’re right around the corner from this particular store so it makes it easy to visit on a near daily basis for that ‘one thing’ we may need or have forgotten when grocery shopping. The store is easy to find, right on the corner of Old San Francisco and Fair Oaks, with plenty of parking.
