B & B Collision Repair

It was a horrible experience. I ended up going to the shop three times and still not satisfied. And in order to void more damage to my car, I gave up. My car is pretty much brand new. And after the work is done, tons of specks on the paint surface, adhesive material everywhere and they even make tail light off alignment… Completely ridiculous. I went there only because I thought it could provide a better service since it is a VW certified shop, but what a horrible place.
Please avoid the shop if you care about your car

Was looking for a quote on Unilocal and when I submitted one to a shop, Unilocal prompted me to also send the request to a few other shops, bb collision was one of them. My wifes car had sprung a leak in the radiator, so that os what I was looking for a quote on. A PERSON BY THE NAME OF Kenneth replied with a quote of just shy of two thousand dollars, yes, he put that in writing. Stop laughing. Yes thats really how much they quoted. When I replied that this mist be a scam, he said for me to call his parts and service manager which I did, and left Vince a long message. Just for anyone wondering, a decent radiator cost 100 – 300 dollars and it should take a shop 2 – 3 hours to replace one. I am being generous on both those items. So yes, this is a scam place, watch out! I did get my radiator replaced at another shop, for $ 350. That is a huge delta dont you think? Do yourself a favor and do NOT go here. I still cant believe the quote, they must just like to rip off people that dont know any better.

My car had first accident. Something had fallen on it and smashed in its roof corner. AllState Adler’s office set me up with them. B&B called me in couple of hours and offered a time in couple of days after coming from insurance office. Very pleasant communication also from their part. They took the car in and Enterprise was waiting for me to take to their rental again close by. Hand over was very pleasant. They were respectful and answered all my questions and concerns. The repairs took exactly as long as they had said which was 5 working days. The person who called me and notified me about the progress of the repairs was very nice, relaxed and with happy voice. Getting the car back was as smooth. I was afraid that I’ll see the paint fading, because usually I can. I looked very hard, but I could not see any fading on the panel and it as new as good. The repairs have been made excellently.

I first did business with Mr. Mills, the body shop manager here at B&B in 1996. At that time he was the manager of Anderson Super Store, my jeep had a gravity issue and decided to roll over. He took care of everything, handles the insurance adjuster, rental car and help me with the settlement. Through the decades I have had Mr. Mills handle all my body shop issues, personal and my business trucks. When my 7 series BMW got smashed, he put it back together, when I got it back it looked even better that before the accident. Mr. Mills is a perfectionist he is extremely detailed oriented, which is perfect because I am an extremely picky customer. In September of 2015 my wife’s 2012 E550 Benz got rear ended and again Mr. Mill put it back together even belter that before. I can’t say enough good things about Mr. Mills. Mr. Mills is the best, relax and bring your car to him you want be disappointed.

Arrogant & Poor customer service.
They partner with Sunnyvale VW and provide the service, if that is what you want to call service. I would never, ever again take my car to anyone with the name of B&B Collision Repair again. They do not take responsibility for any damages that they actually cause.

I had my Saab repaired at the body shop. It had a minor front bumper damage, very meticulous work. They stick to the timelines, do the their best to meet them. They were able to meet my timeline. But keep in mind that when they order Saab parts, getting them in may take time. You get very quick email responses, definitely recommend them to everyone who needs quality body work and excellent customer service. Ask for Mike Gonzales, he is a great guy!

Had two separate body damage/​paint repaired. One in 2011, one in 2013, both were great experience (reasonable quote process, good communication, repairs that held up over time). Just went back for a quote (¹²⁄₂₀₁₅). Staff just as friendly and painless quote process. Hoping for the repeat of the good prior experiences. The rating is for the prior two.

I had a minor collision where my license plate was banged up.
The folks here were very welcoming & friendly. They got me a new nameplate frame, hammered the license plate flat and I was ready to go in minutes.
And they initially didn’t even take any money for that! Just did this for free! I had to insist & give the mechanic some money.
Wish their business all success.

Edit: B&B has been working with me to really try to help me get my car done, after some unforeseen circumstances with vendor delays. Ken has been giving me close updates and has promised me that if I can’t get my car back by a very important day for me, for travel, that he’ll work with me to get me a rental for the days that I need a car. Will keep this review updated next week.
Second edit: As promised, they kept me updated every step of the way and gave me a rental car for use due to the extra delays. The car has come back as good as new, and the quality of their repairs is top notch. Thank you again to Ken at B&B.

They do not care about your time and customer service when they are not making enough money. Go find a better place to repair your car.

Excellent Customer Service — Excellent Work. B&B excels in both!
I have built a successful home improvement business based on delivering exceptional quality and customer service. It is rare that I find another company that not only shares these values, but fully delivers on them. B&B absolutely does.
I was referred to B&B by an Allstate claims adjuster after recently being rear ended. I met with the adjuster on a Sunday and he told me Ken from B&B would call Monday morning. Ken did exactly that at 8:30 a.m. We made an appointment for him to see my car at 4:00 p.m. the same day. He said that if I could leave the car with him then he could have it back to me in a week. B&B promptly arranged for Enterprise to pick me up within 10 minutes and I was on my way home in a rental car less than 30 minutes after arriving to B&B.
Ken left me a message on Tuesday confirming the extent of damage and the repair cost even though it was fully covered by Allstate. He then called me on Friday to let me know they would have the car finished that afternoon if I could pick it up. I arrived just before 5:00 p.m. and was in and out in less than 15 minutes. Ken and Sarah were both as pleasant and helpful as they could be. Most importantly, their work is superb. I have a 2014 Audi Q5, and finding a shop that does top notch work was an absolute priority to me.
Overall, Ken and his team made a typically frustrating and agonizing experience all but painless. Kudos! I was thoroughly impressed and will certainly refer B&B to anyone needing collision repair work.

B&B is the absolute BEST!!!
The repair itself was unbelievable. I was so upset when someone hit the back of my car and it caused a lot of cosmetic damage to the rear quarter panel and bumper. When I came back to pick it up, my car literally looked like new. I could hardly believe it.
Some notes on the customer service (aka Sarah and Ken being amazing):
— They let me drive by at a moment’s notice when I was in the area having my car inspected by Allstate
— They stayed in touch during the whole process and completed the repair exactly when they estimated it would be done
— The paperwork was completely painless; they are clearly extremely organized and on top of things
I cannot say enough about Sarah, Ken, and the amazing repair folks who work at B&B. Obviously I hope I don’t get in any more collisions anytime soon… but if I do this will be my one and only stop.
Anyone living in the South Bay, I HIGHLY recommend you go to B&B for outstanding collision repairs and the best customer service I’ve seen in a LONG time.

Had a parking accident with my Jetta that left a major scratch, cracked the bumper, etc. This is my first car which I treat with a lot of care, so the incident left me majorly stressed out. I’ve seen a lot of cars with crappy touch-​up jobs and I was terrified of my car having one. No need for fear with B&B. I almost gave Sarah a hug when I saw my *perfectly* fixed car. There is no way you can tell which side was damaged.
Bonus points: my insurance company (who in this respect should get 0 stars) refused to pay for OEM parts and their quote for the aftermarket bumper was unreasonably low (a third of the OEM price). Sarah and Ken did some magic and brought the OEM price down almost to insurance’s ridiculous underestimate.
I am hoping to, knock on the wood, never have to bring the car over again, but if I had an accident, there will be no second thoughts. They are friendly, professional and fair. Even if I wanted to be nit-​picky, I wouldn’t be able to find a complaint.

This is a long over due review! I’ve had my car broken into twice in the last year, and both times I brought it here. Sarah assisted me both times, and she was professional, friendly and extremely helpful. Great service with a great smile! She kept me updated at all times about the process of fixing my car and window, and the moment it was finished she let me know. Sarah and the boys in the shop do great work! Will definitely be back if anything else happens to my car!

I went in with my car after a hit and run left the front of my Audi A4 smashed up. The staff were extremely co operative and friendly. Even though the car needed a lot of work they delivered it spotless and before schedule. All the time keeping me updated on call. Extremely satisfied with the service. Thanks Guys !!

When an old man hit me and didn’t have insurance, I brought my car to B&B to get an estimate. I told them that I had a weird situation where the guy responsible for paying didn’t have insurance, and Ken was very understanding. I asked to stay out of the financial part of the negotiations, and he arranged it all with the guy. Once they’d gotten payment, I brought my car in, and it was done on the day that they said it would be. Not only was the new bumper impeccable, but they also detailed my car. It hasn’t looked this nice since I bought it. I couldn’t be happier with the work, and with Ken and Sarah’s helpfulness and friendliness. If I ever need to have work done again, I’ll be bringing it to them without hesitation.

Took my VW GTI here for an estimate and ended up choosing this place to have repairs done. The claim was going through the fault party’s insurance company, so Karl, got an appropriate estimate and even called the insurance company to arrange everything to be taken care of. His colleagues and himself provided friendly and great customer service.
I was informed what he would be ordering (All OEM genuine Volkswagen parts) and even updated me through emails and phone calls on the status of the car as it went through the repairs. All in all, I received my GTI back looking better than when I had originally bought the car (I bought it with a nasty scratch on the front quarter panel, which got replaced). The car was basically new again, and he even said I could bring the car back if I spotted something out of the ordinary on the repairs.
Everything was smooth and I was informed every step of the way. I recommend this place because its the only one located adjacent to the VW dealership that is certified, using all original VW parts on repairs.

My VW was rear-​ended and the person at fault had AAA insurance. I’ve been going for a while to Sunnyvale VW for my repairs & maintenance and at first AAA insurance said that I can’t bring my car there because they are not a body shop. I just ignored their request to go to one of their «preferred repair shops» and headed straight to VW Sunnyvale. The service advisor Vince told me that they work with B&B Collision Repair which is on their premise. Vince introduced me to Sarah who took on my case. She took pictures of the damage and submitted all the paperwork to AAA for approval.
It took more than seven days to get everything approved because the agent at AAA wanted me to get a different bumper which was not even made for my car and had a different VIN #. Sarah was very patient with AAA and told them that they can’t order a bumper that doesn’t fit my car. So eventually she dealt with another of their agents and then everything went pretty smoothly. I told Sarah that AAA is in the insurance business and not the parts business and that it was ridiculous for agent to research bumpers when it was B&B Collisions job to do so.
Sarah was very much by the book, she took pictures, wrote up all the estimates and dealt with the annoying people of AAA. After the bumper was taken off there was more damage discovered and Sarah took more pictures and revised the work order. In the end they did a fantastic job in replacing the rear bumper.
The only complaint I have is that my car was incredibly dirty when I brought it in because I didn’t want to touch any of the «evidence.» So I asked Sarah if they can wash and vacuum the car. They did wash it but it was not vacuumed.
So once I got the car back I still spent an hour vacuuming it. It’s never fun to get into an accident and even if the other person’s insurance company covers the damage, you still end up paying for some stuff.

I just had my VW Touareg repaired at B&B and had an excellent experience.
All started with a hit & run where while my car was parked in a public area. When I got to my car I realized someone hit it on the driver side, damaging wheel, left side and rear areas. Quite annoying mainly because it was only one day after I had taken it to service and decided to do a full car detailing!
After dealing with the insurance company (esurance, which I can only recomend and give 5 stars as well), I decided to take it to VW /​B&B. Casey took care of my case, and she did an excellent job getting my deductibles down. From beginning to end I can give them 5 stars.

Arrogant & Poor customer service.
My Saab, purchased from B & B, needed some minor parts replaced so I went in to inquire about purchasing some parts to replace myself.
I explained that I first needed to identify the name of two components under the hood that has some wear that I had been told was causing the engine light to be on. The arrogant service guy didn’t want to look at my car (it was lightly raining) and said that I would instead need to have the error code read for the engine light at about $ 140. Even after telling him that I had already done that & just needed an experienced eye to glance at the part 10 feet away, he wasn’t interested.
I purchased the parts online after a very friendly & professional mechanic down the street confirmed the name of the parts within a minute.
I love my Saab & will purchase another one. I will drive to the San Francisco dealership from Sunnyvale, however, instead of ever supporting B&B’s terrible customer service.
