We ordered 3 dozen bagels for a party and they were absolutely delicious! Best bagels around. The coffee is a little weak, but tastes good. The added umbrellas outside are a definite plus!

Great local coffee and lunch place. New owners are friendly, great service — and now they serve delicious Bhan Mi sandwiches, Thai food and Thai drinks!

A hidden gem in Sunnyvale — delicious bagels, coffee, and lunch specials(curry here is so good/authentic). Most importantly, very friendly staff. Always a pleasant to dine here!

Thuis place has really tasty sandwiches, especially the roasted pork sandwich. Love the Vietnamese iced coffee too. This is my go to place for breakfast or brunch! Soon they will offer Thai food too!

Friendly and helpful staff, great-tasting food, good portion sizes = win. One change I’d make: I like my Vietnamese coffee a little on the stronger side.

Sad to say but with the new business owner the bagel place is just not the same the selection is very limited and the quality is not there anymore. My family and I have ventured out to look for other bagel places.

Never have I ever been to a place that serves food more deserving than this. Excellent price for the high quality of food, great happy talkative owners and workers, and quick service. These people deserve much more service than what they get.

Although there’s a decent variety of bagels here, they are pretty mediocre in terms of taste — they aren’t particularly chewy, and they’re rather dry. My gauge of quality at a bagel shop is a lox sandwich(sliced lox, cream cheese, tomatoes, onions, capers), and the one here let me down. Upon seeing that all the staff was Vietnamese, I ordered a Vietnamese iced coffee. Instead of having the classic condensed milk at the bottom and cold-brewed coffee sitting atop it, they a) added too much milk, and b) stirred all of it before serving it to me. What resulted was an overly sweet drink that tasted a bit syrupy as well. I prefer Main St Bagel in Santa Clara; it’s worth the 10 min drive away.

The people are sweet and chipper here and eager to help right when you walk in. There is a $ 5 minimum for credit cards, and the selection is a diverse assortment of Costco items, and a couple of donuts. The coffee and espresso drinks are fantastic though

I always get the egg and cheese on a croissant. It’s delicious and consistent every time! :)

New ownership! Selection of food is similar to the old, but gone are the part time students messing up the orders! We come here every weekend for ‘bagel morning’ and whilst I’m far from a bagel expert, they are consistent in quality, there is always parking and table space and service is great! Prices are okay too and they started making viet iced coffee, thai ice tea etc! Check it out

The bagels here are great alone or as a sandwich. And the people are super friendly! I’m a creature of habit and usually order the same thing(sesame seed bagel with ham, lettuce, mayo and tomato, and a cup of clam chowder) and after my second visit, they remembered my order! Sometimes they don’t have soup, that can be hit or miss. But I definitely like Bagel Place Café!!

2 out of the 3 times I’ve been here, experience was a disappointment. Staff are untrained and can’t follow simple instructions, slow service, coffee thermos always empty. Today I asked for 2 toasted bagels, one with light cream cheese. When the bag was given to me, I asked which one had light cream cheese and the response I got was, «I think this one is light.» You THINK??? Food is just OK. Nothing special. I really want to give them 2 stars, but they were apologetic for everything… therefore 3 stars.

I had a terrible experience here. I ordered a white mocha and I don’t know what the man behind the counter created but it tasted awful. He rushed things because it was busy and I saw him putting a lot of hot water in the cup. I dumped the contents in the sink and was appalled at chunks of stuff floating around. It was a horrible experience and I will never return.

Ordered, waited, had order given to another table, reordered(they«lost» the original order), waited, order brought to table. They messed up the final order. Food was good, but nothing spectacular. Clearly they were working things out with their service. Another party had to wait 10 min to get a sliced Bagel and container of cream cheese; the place wasn’t that packed. Food: 3⁄5 Service: 1⁄5

First timer here and I think I ordered the wrong thing. I reaaaaaally wanted the jalapeño cheese bagel but I was trying to be «healthy» lol. I opted for the Sun Dried Tomato bagel which was OK but very dense. I like my bagels to be medium in density because I don’t like chewing things forever, haha. Hubs ordered a breakfast bagel sandwich with egg and bacon. It smelled really delicious and I was envious of his order once we were in the car. Service wasn’t bad. It was a younger woman manning the front counter and one male working in the back. I was a little apprehensive because a lot of reviewers were saying how awful the service was, etc. So it was a pleasant surprise to be met with such pleasant service. When ordering iced coffee, note that you will be given a cup of ice to pour the hot coffee over. No cold brews here, but I guess I can’t knock them on that. I mean, Starbucks barely started cold-brewing coffee and they’ve been around for how freaking long? Come on now, Starbucks. I digress. I’d come back if I am in the area. They had this huge croissant as big as my head there. LOL. I want that next time. Oh and the jalapeño cheese bagel =)

Very nice little shop nestled beside an Expressway. Good selection of bagels and cream cheese. Clean and comfortable. A little hard to find if you’re not looking for it. It doesn’t stand out. Kinda hard to spot an eatery if you’re zooming past on the road going 50 but it’s worth it. Recommended for before-work breakfast and coffee.

Easily one of the best(ie: cheesiest) Jalapeño Cheddar bagels I have ever eaten. There was choop for days. I only wish it were maybe toasted a minute longer… that being said I like my toasted goods to be nearly burnt. There was only a single lady working when we stopped by on a Monday morning, she did her thing and we were in and out within 15 minutes.

Swooped up a CHEESY Jalapeño Bagel(w/Garlic Cream Cheese) and it HITTHESPOT. The Cheddar was so abundant it clogged the bagel hole… and I’m not complaining one bit. Plus the jalaps had a nice kick to them. A really good bagel, just wish it was toasted a little longer. Next time I’ll ask for an extra minute or so. 4 stars. Easy.

I visited Bagel Place Café on a Friday around 7:30am in the morning. The café had a few patrons present when I arrived. There were two woman working behind the counter. Once I put in my order, the place started to pick up and the cashier began taking orders, making orders, and ringing up people. I waited a total of 10 minutes for my order(not long at all) but others waited about 10 minutes for a bagel and cream cheese. I hope to see more people helping out on weekday mornings in the future. These women were busy and trying their best at managing the crowd but they need at least one more person helping so they do not have to rush so much. The café is very small but has an ample amount of seating inside and outside. There are a few tables and bar to sit at inside and three tables outside. The entire café was very clean and orderly too. They have two coolers full of sodas, juices, and cream cheese towards the back right of the café. You cannot miss it. I recommend taking a look inside for a cold beverage. They have lots to choose from if you are not in the mood for coffee. As for coffee, they have a nice selection of brewed coffee for you to choose from. The coffee tastes OK and they have plenty of sweeteners and creamers available to spice up that cup of Joe. There are two display cases: one for bagels and one for pastries. I was here for the bagels and sandwiches. The bagels looked yummy in the display case and I immediately found myself ordering from the specialty bagel tray. Here is what I ordered: Four bagel items: 1 bagel dog, 1 sun dried tomato, and 2 jalapeño cheddar 2 small tubs of cream cheese(strawberry and vegetable garden) All Meats bagel sandwich on Asiago Lox sandwich on Asiago Total price $ 26.82 Tasty Bagels! I enjoyed the bagels. They were tasty and chewy. The All Meats sandwich was packed with lots of meat and one slice of cheddar cheese. It definitely needed more cheese. Thank goodness I bought a few tubs of cream cheese. The bagel dog was nothing special, just a typical bagel wrapped around a hot dog. Big Bummer: The lox sandwich was lacking lox and cream cheese. I was very disappointed with this item. I hoped for more after seeing previous customer photos showcasing an ample amount of lox and cream cheese(cheese you can see coming out the sides). I did notice that the woman making my lox sandwich was the same one taking order and working the cashier. She was really rushed and I believe this might have contributed to my lack of a lox sandwich. The All Meats sandwich was made by the younger woman who only took and made orders. She did a great job on the All Meats but she was not running between three areas of the counter too. Overall, the bagels are good, the place is busy, and the experience was OK. If you have not tried the bagels here, stop by and check it out. For me, I came, I ate, and I know of better bagel joints in north Sunnyvale to eat at.
