while i was happy with my bodpod test in June 2015, I paid for a second future test and Michael Dorricott not indicate that this was not a permanent location and he might move this service to a different location.. He has now moved on and not providing a tefund for prepaid tests when you cannot go to his new location.
Buyer beware, dont pay for future tests from this man as his «dont worry there wont be an issue in tbe future» is not worth the air he uses to say it. Pay for your current test only or you may lose your money with scam.

I have been working out for many years. I am very health conscious. I have a psychology degree with a minor in nutrition. I also have a bachelor’s in nursing. The human body fascinates me.
Years ago, I was tested for my body fat percentage via the water submersion technique (hydrostatic testing). At the time this technique was probably the most accurate. When I read about the bod pod, I was very impressed with the measuring accuracy. I proceeded to call Bay area bod pod to make an appointment.
Michael Dorricott is the manager/​owner of the company. He scheduled an appointment for my testing. The minute I walked into the facility, I was very impressed with his professionalism. He was very informative regarding the way the bod pod measures body composition. This technique was not at all cumbersome. Unlike the hydrostatic testing.
I think adding the bod pod to an individual’s overall health regimen is a vital component to addressing areas of health in order to set up an exercise and diet plan.
Michael also is a personal trainer and is very good at evaluating an individual and planning a workout regimen. Michael has helped me with my exercise régime. The results have been very apparent. I am very pleased!!! Thank you, Michael

If you are serious about looking and feeling your best, I highly recommend getting a body fat measurement done at Bay Area Body Composition. Knowing your exact body composition keeps you honest and informed while also helping you plan your specific fitness goals. I have read in several reputable places that the Bod Pod is the easiest, fastest, and most accurate way to get a body fat measurement done, so I called to schedule an appointment. There were several convenient times available and I chose a morning time since you are not supposed to eat or drink anything within 3 hours of the measurement.
Michael Dorricott greeted me warmly and led me a private room that contained the Bod Pod. The process took about 5 minutes — you take off your clothes and step on a scale, then sit in the Bod Pod for 3 measurements that take ~30 seconds each. I was given a printout of my weight, body fat %, and lean mass %, plus my RMR and TEE, two unfamiliar terms which Michael helpfully explained to me. Most impressively, he spent at least an additional 20 minutes talking with me about my diet, work out routine, and fitness goals. Being a competitive natural bodybuilder and personal trainer, I greatly appreciated his perspective and knowledge. I asked about his personal training services, and he offered me a free session, which I gladly accepted. There is no high pressure sales pitch whatsoever, and all throughout I got the impression he genuinely cared about helping his clients. I got a $ 10 discount for getting a 2-​pack of measurements; I plan to come back in a few months to get an accurate gauge of my progress. On the way out, he gave me a free water bottle and trail mix pack, which was great since skipping left me hungry. Overall, this was a great experience and Michael was very friendly, professional, and helpful.

I work at a small gym in Santa Clara. Although we do skin caliper body composition testing for our clients, we decided to host a body composition event featuring a more accurate method of testing.
We learned about Bay Area Body Composition testing with a BodPod and got very excited! We secured a testing date with Michael at our gym, posted the sign-​up sheet, and because it’s so reasonably priced, many of our clients participated!
Michael was the tester. He was punctual, very professional, polite, and expeditious. Each test took less than 15 minutes! The method is non-​invasive, inexpensive, accurate, and oh so informative! The clients loved learning what their base-​line body fat is and how many calories they’re burning.
Because the BodPod machine is so expensive, there aren’t many in the greater Bay Area; so we were excited about the opportunity to have one for the day, right in our gym!
From this event, we are now hosting a 60 day challenge, which has motived our clients to stick with their programs, and to push their goals through the holidays more effectively!
We will definitely host a Bay Area Body Composition event with Michael a few times a year. It’s the perfect springboard that will engage our clients to take their goals to the next level because they can have greater confidence that their nutrition and exercise are on track.
I’m adding this on later, but I was so impressed with BABC and the BodPod as an effective assessment tool that I approached Michael about working with him to help deliver this incredible service technology.
