Subway

So you don’t walk into subway expecting amazing food — a standard sandwich.
My husband and I walked in around 10:15pm and the place was spotless. The only guy working was nice and efficient. He didn’t just throw ingredients on the sandwich, rather he arranged them the way they should (I guess my standards for subway are low). «Rodrig» you are my favorite sandwich artist ever.
In and out quickly. Sandwich was good. Better than the one on SW Pkwy.

I’d rather eat my right foot than put up with the substandard service at this location.
This is not my first Subway rodeo, mind you. I stopped in on a Saturday night to pick up two sandwiches to go. What ensued was a 20 minute wait because there were two customers ahead of me. That’s right, two. Why 20 minutes? Well, one person was doing all the jobs that night at this location. Plus, the lone ranger allowed a family who was mostly outside in the car to hold up the line while slowly dragging in to the restaurant, who then took their time hemming-​and-​hawing about what they wanted to order.
To top it all off, while I got the ingredients I wanted, I didn’t get the sandwiches I wanted. I asked for the 2 for $ 5 each 12″ special on the board, but instead wound up paying $ 5 for two 6″ sandwiches. By the point I realized what the server was doing, I was so fed up with the shenanigans that I just wanted out. By the time I left, the line was 10 deep behind me.
There’s no excuse for slow fast food, and this Subway location could be the poster child for it. Pinche Subway.

Yo, how do you run out of bread and meatballs at 7:30 p.m. Anyway, the sandwiches are good when everything is in stock.

I can only speak for breakfast here, but I love it! Egg white on Italian herb bread with cheese and spinach is my regular sandwich. There are 2 different people who regularly work mornings, both are very nice and efficient.

The staff at this location changes fairly regularly so it’s hard to talk about the consistency of the product. The location can be a pain since it’s in the middle of a shopping center and speed trap (Sunset Valley cops). At the time of this posting I was pleased with the service I’ve received the last 2 times I’ve gone there.
