We develop a partnership with our student’s parents, so that together, we can provide a nurturing educational experience for your child. We are located on the west side of Canton, MI (at the intersection of Ford road and Napier road). Children will enjoy our academic program, large playground, and growing food in our child gardening area.

We offer a well-​rounded Montessori preschool and kindergarten education, including child care, for children ages 3 through 6. Half day and full day programs available.

Laura B.

Business Owner

Laura Bertsch is the director and founder of Children’s Garden Montessori. She holds a Master’s degree in Early Childhood, and a Bachelor’s degree in Science. Laura is a certified Montessori teacher at the preprimary level. She has 15 years of experience in the public schools teaching preschool, kindergarten, and first grade, and has been a mentor to new teachers throughout her career.
