Description

Specialties

Rosie Creek Studio School offers as much as you want to know about ceramics.

If you have never worked with clay but always wanted to, we can show where to start. If you are a potter looking for a local space to work, we can accomodate your needs too. We know how to build and fix kilns, maintain studio equipment, mix glazes and more.

We offer 4 week classes in throwing and handbuilding that are ongoing throughout the year. For $ 200.00 per session you get eight 3 hour classes that include your first 25# of clay and firing that clay.

The studio has 7 potters wheels, a large slab roller, 2 electric kilns and a downdraft gas kiln. We have lots of loaner tools available for use also.

If you need to fire your own work but don’t have a kiln we can rent you ours.

Our instructors have WA state Teaching Certifications and Masters Degrees in Ceramics.

History

Established in 2011.

We are offering ceramic instruction for beginners through professionals in the Kitsap and Olympic Peninsula areas.
