A small little tasting room with some nice wines. However, a tasting room is half about the wine and half about the atmosphere and staff, and though the wine was good (I picked up a nice red), the experience wasn’t. The staff seemed pre-​occupied and didn’t spend any time explaining the wines or the winery. Not a bad experience, just not all that fun. Probably won’t be back.

A great little venue for tasting and music. Definitely off the beaten path from the «big» Amador wineries. If you want to go to a smaller tasting room with a welcoming staff/​ownership, I would highly recommend this hidden find in downtown Amador City.

Sutter Creek, CA
Tony and Susan Feist are making some of the best wines in Amador county. There’s a small and fun tasting room in downtown Amador City, where the knowledgable and friendly hosts pour a great Zinfandel, an award winning Barbera, and a lively and fresh Chardonnay. The Mourvedre is one of the best around. It’s definitely worth a stop in your tour of the Amador wine country.

This is a small and unassuming yet lovely wine tasting spot. I’d definitely recommend stopping here during a visit or on your way to Murphys like we did. I believe the man on deck was the owner, named Ken? He was very nice to us early birds.
I pretty much liked all the reds, their Mourvedre being the most memorable. I don’t think I personally cared for the whites, because I can’t remember any of them. To be honest I would have liked to hear information or a story about the wines that were poured. I think we might have stayed a little longer had there been more engaging of conversation.
Either way, it was a great place to visit and I’d stop by again.

I stopped in at the tasting room this afternoon. The owner was there. He was very friendly and informative. I tasted all the reds. They were very tasty. The mourvedre was wonderful!

Great, relatively new (within the last year if i remember correctly) tasting room on the main street of Amador City, just a few miles from Sutter Creek. A couple owns the tasting room and are typically there, but we visited during Open House weekend in Amador City and Sutter Creek, so there was a very friendly, informative family friend running the show. The wines were good; we purchased a 2008 Grenache. Check it out!
