Tried once again and will not be back. Went after church for lunch. Short staffed as usual. Took forever for someone to get our drink order. Same with food order. Got the French onion soup and a house salad. Soup had little flavor and way too much bread in it. Salad look like they opened a bag of lettuce and plopped it on the plate. Hardly any extras mainly lettuce with a tiny bit of cucumber. Had to ask to get the check. Lounge lizards already to starting to pack in at the bar. Seems more like a bar than a place to eat.

Painfully slow service, never got our appetizer, took almost 30 minutes to get sandwiches, and then the fries were cold and the bread was dry and toasted too long, almost black. Seemed like there were no mgrs around. Also took a long time to be greeted when we walked in and although it was 1pm on a Saturday and the place was less than ½ full, hostess seemed almost unwilling to seat us at a booth, like it was an imposition. Won’t be back. The crooked-hanging Help Wanted sign out front should have been an omen.

First of all, we were seated, and after 10 minutes, there were no servers to be seen. Not just our server, I mean there were literally no servers at all on the floor of the restaurant. Then, once we finally placed out order, they got it wrong, and then took 20 min to replace it, and it was just a cheeseburger! Terrible service and average food are not a good combo. Avoid this place.

Don’t order via the website! I spent $ 45 for hamburger meat and buns? The site clearly states«Our thick ‘n hearty burger on a toasted bakery bun. Served with lettuce, tomato, pickles and onion»… I spent 30 minutes making two trips to the restaurant to be told that I should have picked the garden selection with my order??? Huh? I even showed them on my phone there is no such option! The only option was to remove onion. So they give a bag of lettuce, tomato, pickles, and onion along with a $ 20 applebees gift certificate. Oh, and some packs of mustard and ketchup in a burger box… So I paid $ 45 dollars for cold hamburgers, $ 20 gift certificate, and two trips(gas/time, etc) to Applebees. NEVERAGAIN. The manager even blamed me for the«miscommunication».

Melissa took good care of us. These cooperate restaurants are lame but our lunch was hot and seasoned correctly. French onion soup… I’ve had worse. The Thai shrimp salad had Sysco dressing etc… But it worked. Exactly what I expected. I’m giving 3 stars because our server was on it and the food was not offensive.

$$/4 Good value for what you’re getting, food is Good for this mid range family restaurant. Service is spotty Love what’s on the menu and great as a family dining place We usually get the combo two for 20 or have steak and of course the kids menus are great I really like their new bistro type menu. Portions are good you don’t feel to stuff and this place really doesn’t break the bank Decour could use some refresh but overall it’s a good place and the food is always good not artisan gourmet excellent you really don’t expect that from this place just good American Sit Down place to eat Great family restaurant with something for everyone. loved their appetizers in the mix drinks Family night out, watching the game after office get together seems like a good place to do all those things. Would definitely recommend and would definitely come back

I received a gift card to Applebee’s and finally made it up to use it. Much to my disappointment, there were absolutely no vegetarian options except for a few appetizers. When I dine at a restaurant, I expect them to have at least one main dish for me to chose from being a vegetarian. For example, perhaps a black bean burger would be given as an option on the burger section as well as meat. In my confusion over the fact that there was not a single main dish that was available vegetarian or vegetarian style, I asked the waiter. He assured me that Applebee’s is not a vegetarian friendly restaurant and that there were 3 appetizers to chose from basically. Seeing that I have a gift card, we ordered appetizers for dinner. Next time I come to use the remainder of the gift card, I’ll plan on dinner before I come so I can just use it on cocktails. Ridiculous.

Great food and a dining staple that does a good job staying in touch with the local neighborhood. Only spoiled by really inconsistent service and management.

Don’t know why anyone would come here. Steak was literally rubber and not even warm, also my mom and I came both agreed that they painted on the grill marks because they were so fake. Don’t go here please. Chilis is way better and right down the road.

On our drive to NYC, we ran into Winter Storm Remus. Applebee’s was the only restaurant open. We had been traveling all day and were hungry. The pizza and Chinese places were all closed due to the storm. Normally Applebee’s is NEVER on our radar because it consistently disappoints. This visit was no exception. Good points: — It was open when all other restaurants were closed. — The tomato soup was hot, very good and really hit the spot for some tired travelers. — Thai Shrimp Salad was good but sparse on shrimp. Bad points: — Service was incredibly slow for an empty restaurant. — 30 minute wait for the soup. — Fiesta Chicken Chopped Salad arrived incorrect — when corrected, it arrived so wet, it was almost inedible. — 3 different servers — all subpar as they went missing during our meal(we were sitting at the bar). If you have a choice, choose elsewhere.

the only reaosn im giving this a 2 is beacause our waiter(Yassi) was incredible. we showed up at 3 on valentines day. to see a pretty empty restaurant, then a rush happened and only our waiter was on the floor. Being a waiter myself, I know the struggle if someone got cut early or went for a break, but there is ALWAYS a back up waiter. Well on this case, there wasnt one. To make matters worse she kept getting sat by the ditzy hostess who didnt even offer the other tables drinks when she got busy, or even a notice to the tables that the waiter is behind because of the amount of people she was sat, absolutely ridiculous. to be understaffed on any Hallmark holiday is easily one of the worst decisions a restaurant can make. At no fault of our waiter our experience was terrible and i will not be going back until i hear that management has changed and they get their act together.

BYEFELICIA! It has been a while since I stopped eating at this restaurant so this review is way overdue. I ate here a couple of times because of the hubby and kids. So, on one occasion, I was served this really disgusting cole slaw, that had absolutely no taste. It was very bland,(no acid, no twang). It was so bad that I had to speak to the manager about it and he actually acted as if he did not understand what I was saying. I made it explicitly clear that this was the worst cole slaw ever. The next trip, I ordered a steak with grilled veggies.(I can only remember one other time that I ordered a steak because I generally just don’t eat it and tonight I was trying to step out of my comfort zone. I have also come here several times and just ordered water or ice because I just do not find their food exciting or ultra appealing although my family likes it. They are just used to me being particular and have adjusted. Of course they eat out way more than I do and I really prefer my own meals. So tonight, I decide to «turn up» and order a steak. I ordered it medium rare but it was still mooing, like pink on the outside. It was so tough that I couldn’t even chew it. The side of vegetables was really a garnish on top of the steak. I was really angry about this because veggies are always the centerpiece of my meal. The meal was returned and I did not order a replacement because I already know«what time it is». I nursed my ice water and just waited until I got home to eat. On average, the food is just not fresh, well seasoned or well prepared. Their appetizers can be purchased at Sam’s Club and you can get an entire box instead of two servings and enjoy them in the comfort of your own home. You don’t need Applebee’ s for this. In general, their food is just average and not always well prepared or seasoned. The best food will always come from your own kitchen. No more Applebee’s for me or my family,(I think that they too have finally had enough) !!

Service was really friendly and attentive but that’s all the positive I can say. The food was absolutely horrible. My family and I haven’t been to an Applebee’s in so long so we decided to eat their. We ordered, their regular burger and fries, this Asian salad and a 9oz house steak with broccoli and mashed potatoes. Salad was fine, burger was nothing special; but we didn’t expect much since it was just a burger. The big red flag was the steak dinner. Again, I wasn’t expecting a five star steak or anything, but I wasn’t expecting a(what seemed like) steak you would get from a frozen meal. Besides the blah steak, it was the mashed potatoes that really surprised me. It looked like someone had leftovers, packed the leftover mashed potatoes in clear wrap and dumped it on the plate. My potatoes looked so weird. And to too it off, it was really cold in the middle which justified my guess about the microwaving. I notified the waitress and she was really nice about it. She brought me new mashed potatoes on a little plate and apologized for the first. The amount they gave me was so much smaller than what I had to begin with… I took a bite and it was burning hot so I was really happy. I took a deeper bite and… ITWASCOLD, AGAIN! Straight up cold. Overall, it’s going to be a while till I go back to any Applebee’s.

Beware — received a 82B Department of Public Health review rating on 12/16/2013. Employees not properly washing hands or preparing food without gloves or hair restraints. Ovens have accumulation of grease and food and reach in cooler in server alley has MOLD!!! Employee clothing was being stored with dry goods. Full reports available online for public consumption. We get takeout here all the time and are usually satisfied, but we likely will change our minds now.

It was late and I didn’t feel like searching for a place to eat so we went to Applebee’s. I was impressed with their menu selection of 550 calories and they can customize your order which was nice but… This will be my last visit to this place. Food is just that… Taste like it was just heated up in the microwave. I can make better salmon than Applebee’s.(I think…:-) it’s like eating fast food but you have to wait longer and it will cost you more.

I convinced a friend to go with me this past weekend for half price apps, and a long island of two. I picked him up, we arrived and had a really nice server. She told us about the after 10 app discount, we both kinda chuckled, for that was the reason we had driven across town to come here. Not thinking about how big the portions we both ordered boneless wings and mozz sticks. We also ordered the long isnalnds that were on sale.(I knew why as soon as i tried mine, I made it through about 4 sips and gave it to my friend) the server was attentive and checked back on us throughout our late night snack. I paid the tab and we took off. I really love their boneless wings, and when they are half price… you cant beat it! never really had bad service from this location. Hopefully they will add some variety to their late night menu? We’ll be back.

I admit it — I like this place to watch football. It’s rarely over crowded, so it’s easy to get a bar stool and control the TV’s. The food is okay. The new salad wedge is one of my favorites. Draft beer at a fair price. You could do a lot worse for a sports bar. Update: I hear they will not splurge for the 2013NFL package at this location. Also, no more Wi-Fi for whatever reason. Update1/21/2015: I hear Wi-Fi is back!
