Fusion Sleep

Not recommended at all! This facility gave me blatantly false info over the phone and the staff member was extremely hateful and rude! I didn’t get the proper and correct results and was told nothing was wrong with me as I know that there are problems with my sleep. This place has rude and hateful employees.

I suggest you don’t pay for anything up front, I have been waiting about 6 weeks for a refund and was told again it would be refunded Monday for sure, I am still waiting!

I received a phone call this morning from a DEBT COLLECTION agency concerning a bill from Fusion Sleep from a visit that I paid them over a year ago. I wasn’t impressed with the doctor or the staff there and never returned — but I DID pay the outrageous bill for the 30 minute consultation in November of last year and I have the credit card record to prove it. My address was typed in wrong by the staff (shock) yet they clearly had my phone number correct since they passed it to a debt collection agency instead of calling me themselves to clear up this matter (that wasn’t a matter.) Despite the fact that they had my street name unrecognizable in their system, I had paid my bill. Thanks, Fusion, I get to spend the next few weeks clearing my perfect credit record because of your lack of organization and bookkeeping. Two thumbs down.

Doctors are super friendly and nice. Not sure my problems have been helped though. Don’t be late for an appointment or else they will not see you.

I wish I would have used this website prior to my appointment. Ironically I am in the same boat as many of the reviews before me. My last visit was in September 2014 and was told that insurance would cover all but a specific tubing I prefer. I paid for that and was billed for it 2 months later. I had to return to the office with my receipt because we could not get a return call. I just got a bill in the mail today (April 2015) for those «parts» (mask, filters and headband?) they said my insurance covered. I understand that I am responsible for what my insurance doesn’t cover but I also trust that you know your area of business. I must say I back up the reviewers before me… take our advice… unless you like to headaches… I would take your business elsewhere.

I have seen Dr. Shah at Fusion Sleep for about 18 months. I came for a new sleep study and medical supervision for my severe sleep apnea. I was initially impressed that sleep support supplies could also be bought at the center and the expertise & friendliness of the front office staff. Months later, I am very disappointed!
I still have sleep issues, my billing has been mishandled several times, my calls made to the support center were not returned. In desperation I left a call to Dr. Shah for a Rx for a new CPAP with software so it could be downloaded by the clinician to pinpoint my specific issues. I received the Rx, bought the machine out of my pocket (over $ 600) and took the results to Dr. Shah to read. She would not even look at them. She apologized that my phone calls had not been returned, that her nurse had sent me a Rx without her knowledge, and that I had bought a CPAP machine which was not one she approved! Needless to say, I was very frustrated. She had never seen a CPAP Transcend machine before so she did not trust its software!
Dr. Shah assured me (without looking at any data) and despite my stated sleepiness issues that my sleep apnea was being controlled, suggested I go back to my old CPAP machine which only shows whether I have used it at night and referred me to an insomnia specialist and to her support staff to recalibrate my CPAP machine.
While I was talking with her clinician, I showed her the software printout from my new CPAP machine. She took one glance and showed me that my mask was leaking and I was still having AHI events every night. I bought a new mask and will be looking for a new sleep doctor.
What a waste of money and time!

1) We were misled about the billing. My wife was told insurance would cover but did not. (Fusion did not tell us annual deductible needed to be hit first.)
2) Wife had a terrible experience at the actual session and left early. Could not fall asleep with all the wires.
3) They have been unwilling to work with us on making us pay for something that was of no value to us.
4) For us it was a total waste of money. Would definitely NOT recommend going to Fusion. We are on the hook for about $ 900.
Cleary they don’t care about customer service. They just want the $$$.

Don’t think I fully understood the dangers of sleep issues until I went to Fusion Sleep on the basis of a friend’s referral.
Turns out that my «feeling a little sleepy through the day» was really a wake-​up call about some very serious health issues. Then tonight, on the NBC network news, they reported research showing people with sleep problems are more than 60% more likely to get cancer.
Their facility is spotless, the people very accommodating, and the staff truly outstanding. I did a Google search on their top people before I made my first visit. Very impressive.
Don’t care much for insurance paperwork, but do appreciate that there was help provided while navigating through it. Statements are easily understood and questions readily answered.
From a personal point of view, the one thing I appreciate most about Fusion Sleep is the professionals and their willingness to sit down and provide full easily understood answers to the many questions that arise.
Fusion Sleep likely has helped me avoid what could have been some very serious health issues.

I am never going back to this place again. Their billing practices are very suspect and not customer friendly at all.
I went to see them last October and was fitted for an a-​pap machine. I have been to see them for follow-​ups requested by them several times since. I was under the impression that they were waiting to bill me until after the 3-​month period in which you have to show 70% compliance in order for your insurance to cover a portion of the equipment.
Yesterday, I went once again for a follow-​up and was asked to pay the upgrade (from the c-​pap to the a-​pap), which I was made aware of early on. However, when I asked for a payment plan of $ 100 a month for 3 consecutive months– the billing manager came in to speak to me bringing a bill for over $ 500 that she says has been outstanding since my appointment in October.
Now keep in mind that they never showed me a bill prior to this at the office when I would go to leave, nor did they send me a bill (although ironically I received one yesterday in the mail after I got home). Come to find out, they were charging me a $ 130 month rental fee that my insurance only paid $ 11 towards and they are getting ready to charge me for the 4^th month in rental fees.
I asked how much the base machine costs and how much the replacement tubes and stuff I got yesterday cost and they couldn’t tell me. They simply said each insurance company is different. They made me sign for the equipment but without any indication of how much I would be billed.
The billing manager was rude and tried to claim that I had signed paperwork when I first came that explained the rental fees. But nobody bothered to explain that to me. How many of you read through the mountain of paperwork a doctor’s office has you sign before signing? They should have explained that to me and upon leaving, shown me a bill.
While I’m sure their medical services are fine– I will never go back to them for their biling practices alone… not to mention how rude this billing manager was.
I guess I’ll have to continue to wait to see how much they will charge me for everything once it’s all said and done and hope I can afford it.
I will never go back there again and urge you not to as well.

Sleep disorders can be very serious. You want to make sure you the best care possible. I had a terrible experience with Fusion and after months of complaining got nowhere.
I started to feel like I represented money to them and my health was of no concern. They were more concerned with how they could bill for more services.
