This review is for my service on 04÷09÷15: This is «THEONE». *Clapping hands excitingly*. I’m soooo excited to have finally found a hairstylist that can give me what I want. This was only my 2nd time getting a haircut from Joann, but I knew since the first time back in November 2014 that Hair Fusion would be my go-to hair salon. I have long fine black hair and was very disappointed in my past experiences that it would take me months to get follow-up trimmings/haircuts in between just to avoid the hassle. Joann and her staff are always very welcoming and friendly. She doesn’t make useless chatter, she smiles, considerate of your time, and a master at what she does. From the first snip to the last blow-out, she will give you satisfying results. She has this way of creating layers that gives you that natural no-fuss look after it’s air dried or grown out. I’ve been recommending her to all my family and friends. My sister and aunt will be setting their appointments soon, but I am definitely taking my mother there soon.

Won’t be back! Went in for a layered bob with blond highlights and showed photos for clarification but NOT what I got. It took 2 visits and nearly 6 hours total and I still don’t have what I originally requested. The first visit I had brassy roots and highlights. The second visit I left with lighter brassy mixed with almost grayish highlights. It’s a very«washed out» look. The real concern came while product was on my head the stylist Joann kept saying, «I’m not sure what to do here», «Lets try this and see». Not very reassuring but I couldn’t leave at that point! Surely this doesn’t happen to every client but just would hate for anyone else to have the same experience as I did. Even with a Groupon, my final bill was $ 175 plus I gave a tip! :( Well on the bright side, my hair didn’t fall out from over processing. Now I can go somewhere else and pay again to have it corrected.

This was the WORST customer experience I could have. I bought a Groupon for a keratin and had an appointment. On arrival, the lady asked me who called for the appt. I informed her it was a relative and she asked me if i even own a phone, while my cell was in my hand as I was talking to her. I told her I travel for work and my phone if off quite a bit and my mother had given her contact number instead for easier use. she then proceeded to ask me what kind of keratin products I have used in the past. when I said I did not know as it has been a while, she looked at me funny that I did not know?! then told me I had to use her shampoos for the kind of treatment she did and if I did not want that I should call groupon and do a refund(this is before I even made my decision if I should go ahead or not, so clearly she did NOT want me as a customer). Right when I started responding and asking questions, her friend came in and she just walked away and started chatting and told me to leave! as I was leaving(fuming of course!), I tripped and my hot coffee accidently spilled all over my hand(and of course the floor, which I apologized). she then looked at me like I had committed a great crime and I asked her to help me as the coffee was pouring all over me and her floor, the cup had ripped from the bottom. she said I can go outside and use trash can and how I had ruined her floor, as her friend laughed very loudly. Either she is a racist, or very poor customer service. VERYVERYPOORCUSTOMERSERVICE.
