Food is great. Real Mexican food! Great price. I even ordered tacos for a party and they delivered as promised.

I really didn’t like this place at all. It’s located close to my house and was an easy walk. I’ve been driving past it for several years and never bothered to stop. What I ordered here was their nachos which didn’t look anything like the picture where you can pick what to order from. The nachos of course are cheesy but this was a kind of processed cheese, something like what you get at the 7 – 11 when you get their nachos. You eat outside on benches since this is a food truck which is cool and it was a Spring day where a slight chill to the wind is still present. Well that hot melted cheese that was alright at first hardened quick in that wind. That made the nachos even less appealing. After that factor kicked in I just couldn’t finish eating what I ordered. Yuck!

I wish I could give this truck four and a half stars. I dream about this place. The only reason that I can’t give it five stars is because the truck in the chevron parking lot in Northgate is a little better. Like that taco truck though, this food tastes like someone’s sweet old grandma filled the tacos and horchata with love before handing them out. They have this cute little mini-bus parked and have turned it in to a little dining room. This is the best taco truck in Tacoma.

Pretty darn good Mexican food. I would have given 5 stars but it’s a truck and wished they had some things different. But they are very honest and helpful and fast and above all delicious! Que Rico!!!

I got the tacos: 2 Asada and 1 lengua! The meat was really good, but the tortilla was a little too oily. Overall really good and I love they give you enough napkins and a mint to go. Pretty good price! I wish I had seen their specials before I ordered though so next time I will make sure to come back and try something else!

These guys do it good. Nothing is fake. When you read the menu, what you see is what you get. They use real crema in the super deluxe burrito, which is hard to find around Tacoma. Something has changed recently. There are new people running or managing this location. The salsa sucks. It used to be passable, fresh cut sauce. Now it seems like something out of a jar made with stewed tomatoes. Anyhow, the chicken burrito is a winner. The meat is not the typical mystery mince or stewed shred, it is actually grilled chicken. There is no orange grease flowing out of it. It seems healthy and tastes delicious. Perfect for a night to not worry about cooking and cater for yourself.

The food might be good but I never got past the bad service. They do not accept their own coupons from . I will never eat at a food truck that is disreputable. And they are still selling the coupons.

Husband went there and he was overcharged big time, asked for the difference and she acted like She didn’t understand English. Very disappointed because I really liked their food. But won’t be back

Update: bought tortas for my sons and husband for an after work quick dinner. They all agreed they were the bomb.

I live right across from the truck and i go at least once a week so i got to know the vato that owns it. there customer service is on point and. all there food is great i would highly suggest the. carne meal. the prices are decient about.9 dollars for a meal all depends on what you get. 6 bucks for.5 tacos and a drink not. bad and its made to order so expect a little wait sometimes but all in all great place on a summer night with your girl to sit on the bench they have and eat fresh tacos and a cold jaritos mexican soda. or in the winter they have a heated bus you can sit in and enjoy. We eat here once a week without fail. Of the things I’ve tried on their menu, here’s my take: Tacos — Beef and spicy pork are both very good. If you’re not sure what to order, you can’t go wrong with the tacos. Tamales — I was disappointed. I love a good tamale, but by the time we got home, they were cold and only mediocre. Burritos — Substantial and delicious. You will not go hungry if you order one. The meat burritos are too big for me, so my regular order has become the regular vegetarian burrito, add avocado(they add full slices, and it’s delicious!) Sopes — I have not personally tried these, but my boyfriend orders the spicy pork sopas regularly, and loves them. An order of 4 is sufficient for someone with an appetite. The refried beans are a bit runny for my taste, but my daughter loves them and cannot do without her side order. She also steals every last pickled carrot from the rest of our orders. The hot sauce is good, both green and red, though it does vary in the level of heat with each visit. I’d prefer something even spicier, but I like food that hurts. It takes me 4 containers of their hot sauce for a single burrito to get my desired level of burn. They do offer«indoor» dining in an old bus, but it kind of creeps me out. We always take our food to go. The staff are nice, the service is fast, and it’s a great inexpensive meal for those nights I don’t want to cook.

I was disappointed. I really wanted to like this place b/c it’s near my house and I love taco trucks but here’s the thing. We tried a lot of things and in most of the dishes, the meat was low quality and full of icky fat, the meals were not exactly piping hot and there were not veggies or sides to be found. So lots of low grade lukewarm meat in a taco… hummm, what am I missing? I’ll be willing to support the small business near my house again to see if they were just having a bad day but boy, I dunnooo…

First time trying this place and I will go back. Their prices were decent and their food is good. I had a carnitas mulita and an al pastor sope. The mulita had some pieces of fat that were kind of gross but I just removed them and kept eating. Pretty much everything was well seasoned and cooked right. Will definitely recommend to others.

Love it! Been going here for years now and I would say its the best Taco Bus around Tacoma. Always friendly, speedy, serving with smiles delicious quality food cooked right. I have watched this business continue improving over the years and quite enjoy frequenting it!

They have the best club sandwich that I have ever had. I know what your thinking but I was forced to try it by my wife and I gotta say it was delicious and one of my favorite places to stop in and have lunch when I’m in town

First visit: Tried the chicken burrito, chicken tacos, and chicken sopes.(yeah… i pigged out) Burritos, unfortunately were sub par… filled with a lot of beans, with a tad of rice and chicken. It missed the fresh crunch from some onion or lettuce to break up what ended up feeling a bit like a clogged pipe in my mouth.(its harsh but i love burritos and was really looking forward to this one based on the other reviews) The tacos were tasty and simple. Just some nicely seasoned meat on top of two corn tortillas topped with onions and cilantro. … and easy to stuff in your mouth! And finally: the SOPES! ooh the sopes– definitely the best of the three in my opinion. There was a great crunch to the masa base, but the center still had a fluffier texture to it. Then come the beans, meat, a tad of melted cheese and some lettuce. Wonderful! Service was fine(its a taco truck, hard to fuck up service at a taco truck). I ordered and got my food very quickly. My only complaint is that with all of the food I ordered I only got ONE little container of salsa. :((((i could easily use one container per sope and two or three on the burrito. Of course, they have no idea how obsessed i am with hot sauce and they would probably give me as many as i wanted if i asked. …So i can complain too much! In the end: pretty average taco truck. I’ll probably pass on the burrito in the future, but will definitely be ordering tacos and sopes again. And remember to ask for extra salsa if you like to load the hot sauce on your food!

I’d give be willing to give this place another try… I love Torta and would opt for carne asana instead next time since the spicy pork had a little too much grizzle(couple of chunks, fat makes things taste so much better, but I’m just not into that much grizzle!)

Solid taco truck with all the basics and then some. Soooo cheap, my family of 7 eats here for under $ 50, slightly porking out even! I love the lenguas tacos. My kids love that they’ll do any meat on their quesadillas. Sopes and mullitas are solid here as well. Watch out for the grilled peppers they serve with the food — they actually have a kick, like they’re supposed to!

The pickled carrots here are worth the trip from, well, at least any other nearby taco-based enterprises. Less words is more: I eat here once a week. Solid everything, but awesome al pastor.

I’m so happy this is here. Best(and maybe only) cheap Mexican take out in the North End. Having been to a number of Taco Trucks in Seattle, this rates just as well. I recommend their tortas, tacos, and sopes.
