absolutely love this place. Their large teriyaki chicken is easily enough to split between myself and my daughter, or a great option for dinner with leftovers that can be re-heated the next day for lunch(and still tastes just as good). I think the price is really good for the amount of food you get. Their egg rolls are awesome too. The lady at the counter is short and to the point, which doesn’t bother me because I know what I want. The wait time is usually about 15 minutes, and it is totally worth it.

Great food, I normally ignore comments from most anyone from Seattle, they are in their own world.

This place was so yummy, and it is within walking distance to my house which is nice. I usually walk here for take-out orders and then go home to eat. The portions are huge, a single dish is way too much for me to eat in one day(but I am a smallish lady, so take that with a grain of salt). To address one of the reviewers before me, I think the owners of this particular restaurant are very used to seeing a wide variety of insane, tweaked out, and/or very aggressive scumbags, and have learned to develop an equally defensive nature to compensate for a constant barrage of idiots trying to swindle or heckle them. But the truth of the matter is that no restaurant needs the business of a few picky eaters. If you don’t like oil, maybe don’t eat things that have been fried? Just a suggestion, haha, but what do I know.

Food is great. Kids and Wife love the beef fried rice. House chicken special #48 is too good. Been eating here for years and just want to give my feed back. Great food! Now go already.

Six family members and myself went to this place for dinner today, I ordered garlic chicken with vegetable dish, the dish had oil laying thru-out, I asked the owner to please re-cook using less oil, he told me Chinese use lots of oil in their cooking, I replied, not where I usually go. Owner told me no he would not make me another dish and told me to eat it. I politely told him I would get sick from all the oil, he again said eat it. I stood firm and said I want another dish even though at this point I wanted nothing as I didn’t trust what he might do if he remade a dish. He finally said he would return money for the food and told me to never order that dish again, I assured him due to his argumentative, non-customer oriented attitude, extreme rudeness and nasty nasty food sitting on bat of oil I would never come to his restaurant. I was sad at his rude behavior because most restaurants will usually say ok and cook another dish, this should have been no big deal, yet it was. Judy P, Seattle

Don’t waste your time! We arrived with expectations of a great food experience based on a recommendation of a family member. We were told this establishment was known for it’s Fried Rice. My wife and I were scheduled to meet four family members including our great-granddaughter for a late lunch/early dinner. My wife and I studied their menu and ordered; my wife ordered a small Garlic Fried Chicken dish to which we were told they were out of Garlic Fried Chicken,(at 3 p.m.) AND the restaurant was empty of customers besides the two of us. Plan B for my wife — the #42 Garlic Chicken, the woman behind the counter said Yes, and we were in business. I ordered a small House Special Fried Rice — I was told it was their best seller in the Fried Rice section of their Menu, in addition, we ordered a Gyoza/Egg Roll appetizer along with a drink each(2 total). After a few bites of her dish(#42 Garlic Chicken), my wife and I noticed an excessive amount of oil settling at the bottom the plate; so she approached the Manager to have the order cooked again with less oil. The manager rudely told my wife, «No. That’s the way Chinese food is made, with a lot of oil.» When my wife respectfully disagreed, the manager(tall, Asian male), continued his lecture on how Chinese food is cooked, essentially«drawing a line in the sand, that’s all you get — take it or leave it stance». After realizing my wife was not going to back down, the«alleged» manager reluctantly offered to give her a cash refund AND told her not to return to the restaurant and order this particular dish. Well, he didn’t have to worry about us returning at all let alone re-ordering another small #42 Garlic Chicken in our lifetime. If the insulting admonishment and rude conversation was not enough, this gentleman only returned $ 8.75 on a pre-tax price at checkout of $ 8.99 for a #42. Keep in mind, my wife never asked for a cash refund, she just wanted the excess oil removed, if so, the dish was decent enough to finish. After being updated by my wife about her rude encounter with this gentleman; I approached to request an explanation about why he shorted us on the cash refund. The guy looked at me, looked me in the eyes and said, «I only refund the amount($ 8.75) because she already eat half the food!!!» The bottom line is, the gentleman behind the counter returned the difference, including the tax and I attempted to walk back to our table, as our family had not finished their respective plates. When I attempted to place the coins given to me into a tip jar on their counter, the gentleman said(in full voice), and I quote, «No! No!, You TAKE you money! You take you money!!» Shocked by his full voice comment, I calmly said to him, «That’s what your service was worth($ .17)!» In conclusion, my wife and I became sick to our stomachs during our drive back to Seattle still processing the rude and unprofessional service we just experienced. Anyone, considering going to this place, please be aware of the Manager and if interested, check out the Inspection Report on this restaurant at the Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department — interesting read.

This is my favorite fried rice location. And all their dishes are good also. Only had one complaint about this is that they aren’t open on Sunday’s. Food portions are large.
