Allenmore Golf Course is my favorite public course in Tacoma. The Elk’s lodge does a great job keeping the course up. It is literally kept 100 times better than Meadows Golf Course. Also the golf carts are well maintained. The golf marshals are nice and friendly. I have never had any problems. Plus Smoke and Cedar overlooks the course and it’s great to stop in at the bar before or after playing. They also have a pro shop and a small food place downstairs by the course. The range is the only thing that could use improvements. It’s very short range and you can only hit higher number irons on it. Overall, my favorite course in Tacoma.
