The Table is owned and operated by local chef, Derek Bray.
Our food pays homage to the traditional bounty of Northwest ingredients, prepared simply and consistently with skill. A truly seasonal menu based on local produce and high quality meats means there is always something new to taste.
The dining room is open and centered around a twenty person bar height table where you can watch the final preparations of plates and enjoy the community of Tacoma.
The Table is Now Open for Brunch 10:30am-2pm Saturday and Sunday

Meet the Business Owner
Derek B.
Business Owner
Derek Bray is the chef and owner of The Table. Derek is a northwest native, raised in Enumclaw and a graduate of Washington State University, where he found his love of restaurants and the service industry. Since moving to Tacoma, Chef Bray has worked in local restaurants as well as running the kitchen at the Tacoma Rescue Mission. He is passionate about Tacoma and creating a community that gives back and invests in our youth. Chef Bray’s inspiration for The Table is bringing the truest Northwest ingredients into the restaurant, consistently cooking at a high level in a warm friendly environment staffed with knowledgable passionate people. Derek resides in the Tacoma area with his wife Holly and baby boy Brody.
