You get a pizza for $ 10 in the area. I sadly think Little Caesar’s pizza is better for $ 5. The Italian Kitchen in Silver Spring for a few bucks more is much better. Even MOD pizza. I went here a few times and the last time the pizza looked different than the way it looked before. I don’t know if they changed it or what. But I won’t be coming back. The service has been nice every time I have gone in. I don’t know how places like this stay in business.

Horrible and rude customer service! The person taking the order over the phone was beyond rude and blatantly disrespectful. To make matters worse, the pizza was bland and basic… If I could give 0 stars, I would. All I wanted was a good pizza from a local establishment that was right down the street from my house. I never would have guessed that a phone call to order pizza was going to result in my intelligence being insulted. I wanted to support a local family business but I won’t make that mistake again…

I was not impressed with the customer service, the physical place where I picked up my food, nor was I blown away by the quality or price of the pizza. It was decent tasting but nothing special. The wings were fatty. I came here because friends had recommended it but if I’d checked Unilocal first I wouldn’t have come here. I’m checking with them to see if I misheard or just got the wrong place.

Order from them if you want some guy screaming at you about in his«20 years he never deliver to address.»(Grammar errors on purpose) Even though he delivered to our house two weeks ago. If I wanted to be treated like a child I would ask my mother for pizza on lasagna day.

I love this place! Flashbacks to my favorite pizza from the 80s, 90s and even today.

Gross. I’d give it a 0 if I could. We won’t eat here anymore. Today my partner went in to order a pizza. He saw the cool throw a towel at the wall. Looked up and saw a cockroach. Then he saw one by the register. He got his money back. Heads up. Don’t eat here unless they clean up their act.

An hour later the pizza arrived, luke warm and in dire need of some help. The«garden salad» was ok if you consider shreds of iceberg lettuce, a handful of olives and a shit ton of green peppers a «garden.» Here’s my advice, unless you’re a stoner recluse college student on a budget(and even many of them have higher standards then this!) I never thought I’d endorse Dominos, but it could be the better of two evils here!!! I wish there were ½ a star, which I give them for having the balls to continue to answer their phone and take orders.

Someone said it right when they said«Do yourself a favor – if you’re thinking about going to Pizza Movers, keep moving!» Go elsewhere. t tastes like they use tomato paste or the cheapest sauce without normal herbs you expect in pizza. Mitigating factor? They do have really nice people working there.

A small cheese pizza is around $ 6. It’s just ok. Good when you’re in a pinch but not especially tasty.

Ok so here’s the deal, the pizza is not bad. Your paying 8.99 for a xlarge pizza.(18inch) don’t expect gourmet type pizza. I like it esp when the wallet is light. I would say papa johns is better than this, but prob a little better than the pizza you would get from 711. I also ordered there«fire wings» 10PC for 10 $. What a rip off. I def over payed. But it came with fries. There so called fire wings wasn’t at spicy at all. Hardly any sauce either, but it came with steak fries. Not impressed.

Ordered delivery. The young lady answering the phone was patient and helpful. The delivery person had a wonderful smile, was friendly, yet professional, and left by saying, «thank you for calling Pizza Movers!» Okay, they have a pretty good staff The pizza, extra cheese with sausage and garlic, was only(and barely) okay. Asked for extra cheese, though it didn’t appear on the pizza. The sausage quite frankly, had very little taste. The garlic was GREAT. Also ordered BBQ Wings. AWESOME! And they come with potato wedges! Bonus! Summing up: service is great; pizza is fair; BBQ wings with wedges are off da hook! Three stars because a pizza joint should have wonderful pizza and they failed. I will order again.

Just moved to this neighborhood and figured I would start getting to know it. Decided that my daughter and I would try out pizza movers… Went it and had to wait a minute or two for a guy in a button up short to come from the back. We ordered and the price was super good but while we were waiting something fell from the ceiling and it was a roach. By this time it was no use in leaving as we had already paid and there was no turning back. So after about a 15 minute wait the pizza’s were done checked them to make sure they were correct and there were no stowaways. Got home and the pizza was pretty good. I would rate higher but the whole bug falling from the ceiling thing just rubbed me the wrong way. In a crunch we might order again because it was pretty good pizza.

This was a guilty pleasure for me when I lived in Takoma Park. It does a great job of being what it is: the cheapest possible decent pizza available. Don’t serve this to your mom or girlfriend, but if you just want some pizza and you want it cheap, go here.

I have bought pizza’s from this store many times, and have never been disappointed. I don’t buy cheese or one topping pies. I buy a pizza with Bacon, Onion, Green Pepper, and Pineapple, and it’s always delicious. The price is also very reasonable.

Visiting this place once was enough for me! The wait time was very long and the staff was very rude! I could probably handle that if the food was good, but they didn’t put sauce on my wings(wtf?) and the pizza wasn’t anything to write home about. The other customers waiting with me didn’t have nice things to say about this place either, which makes me wonder how it’s still in business!

I feel comfortable saying that this is some of the worst pizza I’ve ever had. Do your self a favor and go to 7 – 11 and get some 4 hour old pizza cooking under a heat lamp.

I have gotten pizza from here a number of times! It is our last min/need something quick/cheap for the family of 9 meal. Just know they may go heavy on the sauce if you don’t tell them otherwise.

We’ve been living in Takoma Park for almost a year now. When we first moved to the neighborhood, I noticed this place right away because it’s right there at the corner of Eastern Ave and Carroll/Laurel. Maybe Pizza Movers is the reason at least 27% of the drivers at that 4-Way STOP… just… don’t. Okay, they probably have nothing to do with those morons, but the people inside this place could use something like an attitude adjustment. In our first few weeks living here in what I now lovingly refer to as «The Gateway to Langley Park»(we are beyond the hospital and across Flower), finishing up the move and getting situated called for pizza several times. Since I had seen this place and it looked awesome(PIZZA in neon ALWAYS looks awesome), I figured I’d bust out of the PapaJ’s conformity that I’ve lived in for so long and give Pizza Movers a try. I mean, as a new Takoma Park resident(even without a Subaru or a beard), I might even be labeled as a corporate pizza loyalist or something worse for not locally sourcing my pizza, right? I had a couple of good orders here. The pizza was okay. It’s hard to do pizza very wrong for a long time and I believe this place has been here for quite a while. The prices were also pretty good. Then, why the bad review? Oh right, the attitude thing! I had yet another occasion where pizza seemed like a good plan and called Pizza Movers to order ahead for pickup on my way home. When the guy answered, he continued talking with someone else there in the kitchen or wherever they answer the phone. This is, of course, rude. It’s also no way to run a business where you’re taking orders over the phone. Since I’m the type that is easily offended by this sort of thing(after running a few businesses where phones were part of the scene), I spoke up with, «are you ready for me now or do you want me to call back later!?»(heavy on the snark). The guy tried to go ballistic on me for daring to call him out. I quickly and curtly cut him off to remind him that he had answered the phone to take my order. He began to go off again, so I hung up. I’ve never called back. This review was sitting in my drafts for the last 8 months or so because that’s how much I really care… only I found myself with a few free minutes responding to follower/friend requests here on Unilocal and decided to plow through ALL my drafts.(social media junkie) I guess that Pizza Movers guy inadvertently did me a big favor. I don’t eat much pizza anymore and I’ve lost almost 50lbs since then because I’m getting really good nutrition instead. Ask me bout that and I’ll tell you how.

A-OK about covers it. OK, a little better than«meh methinks I’ve had better», but just barely. you get pretty much what you expect here. cheap pizza, not particularly remarkable, but serviceable and tasty enough if you are in the market for quick carryout or pick up. certainly not a place that will be frightening the likes of 2 Amy’s( ), but not terrible either. also, I quite liked the gyro sandwich they make here(maybe a little bit more than the pizza, frankly). one negative note… I «picked up» my pizza and I can’t say that the kitchen and food prep area I spied exactly overwhelmed me in the cleanliness category. all in all. not bad, not great. fine if you are in the market for quick and cheap pizza.

Pizza Movers is three blocks from my apartment, and yet they will not deliver to me. We went down the list with the guy on the phone. We are within the radius of delivery, a 2 min car trip. We are one block in on the Maryland side, not the DC side of Eastern Ave. We have $$$ and want to give it to you… right now! No delivery… «We won’t deliver to THAT building.» Hangs up. I know I can walk up there and get the pizza carry-out, but I actually want it to be hot when I eat it, and there is no earthly reason why they can’t deliver to our building.
