Victoria did my Brazilian in less than 15 minutes! Made me super comfortable and relaxed from beginning to end. They have an amazing wax they use that is formulated to be as close to painless as possible. Their aftercare products helped to make sure I didn’t get any ingrown hairs afterwards. I highly recommend Bare waxing!

I’ve been going to Bare waxing since their opening. I’ve never had a better experience anywhere. The price is amazing, the staff are personable, professional and friendly — from the receptionist to the women doing the waxes. I moved away for a year but am happy to be back in grad school at FSU and can continue to go to Bare. I’ve used both the Gaines Street location and the location by TMH. Both offices have a great ambiance and are always extremely clean. The wax they use makes waxing almost painless for me which is great — I get my eyebrows done, underarms, and a Brazilian on a regular basis. I’ve also joined their monthly wax service, so I set up an appointment, come in, wax and leave since payment has been taken care of. Absolutely love Victoria and Evie! I highly recommend this place to my classmates and anyone I meet who wants to try out waxing. You won’t have a better experience anywhere.

I had an excellent time. Jessica is so sweet and funny and made the whole experience pleasant and easy. It was my very first waxing beyond eyebrows and i was very nervous. It went very well and i could not be more pleased. I will never go back to shaving and will only go here.

Attention men… You do not have to look like a woman! I was beginning to think I could never get my brows waxed in Tallahassee. Each place I tried gave me thin raised brows, which would have been extremely sexy if they had been on a 30 year old woman, but I guess I don’t have the body to pull it off because it just didn’t look good. Seriously, I’m a guy. Why in the world would you give a guy thin arched brows? After total failures at other salons I was about to give up on Tallahassee and only get my brows waxed when visiting major cities where they understand that men and women are supposed to look different from each other. But then I found Bare Waxing! Thank goodness.
Easy to find and plenty of parking. The location is not flowery or girlie. Staff is professional and friendly. The best part was the results. I came out looking like a guy!

I have always used a hair salon for getting my eyebrows waxed. But I decided to give Bare Waxing a try and I am so very pleased. This is such a professional atmosphere with a staff dedicated to waxing. Kristen did my waxing, and I will continue to use her. Very professional and comfortable. Bare waxing is family owned and operated, I love to support the local businesses. And they have a special formulated wax made by the owners that is so great! A must try!

Bare will ALWAYS get 5 stars to me. I’ve been going to Bare since the moment it opened. I used to go to Brazil’s Waxing Center but they just creep me out honestly. Victoria at Bare deserves a freakin gold medal, she’s awesome! Makes you feel very comfortable about the already awkward situation of getting a brazilian wax. They offer deals for new customers, discounts for loyal customers, and their wax is the cheapest I’ve been to all over Florida so far. I love Bare and I recommend it to anyone looking for a wax!

I have been to many different wax places, and no other place (anywhere in the country!) offers the same amazing experience as Bare Waxing. First of all, I can AFFORD to feel beautiful here — and not at the expense of anything! (Students: get the Student Wax Pass!) The service is always met with perfection. I am treated so well and have found an amazing friend in Victoria (at the Midtown location). She is always very precise, painless, and efficient. Take my word, this is THE place to go — it has been my place of choice for the past two and a half years!

Bare Waxing on Gaines St. is the first and only place I have been for waxing.
I’m a guy and I can’t compare the waxing skills of their staff to other businesses but my experiences have always been good.
The Gaines location is clean, cute, and always has a funny quote «Browmaste, my brows recognize your brows».
I usually get my eyebrows done which always come out looking cleaned up but don’t look like I went and had them waxed (the shape hasn’t changed) which is important to me. Occasionally I will get my neck line done in the front where my beard gets patchy and on the back of my neck. The neck hurts but it keeps me looking clean and groomed which is important as my appearance is part of my paycheck.
Evie (my usual tech) is quick, thorough, treats me well and I’m usually done in 5 – 10 minutes.

As a guy who likes to keep himself up I always shaved. I was hesitant to get waxed the first time. I called and spoke to Victoria on the phone. She was very professional about my awkward questions. Bare Waxing is everything I could ever hope for in a waxing salon. First and foremost, everyone I’ve encountered from the receptionists to the wax specialists are professional and yet, extremely friendly. I have never felt uncomfortable with them. Beyond that, their prices are affordable and their work is painless and surprisingly quick! Victoria is such a sweet woman and takes such pride in her work. I always feel welcomed when I come in through the doors and even when I forget to make an appointment, they are always so accommodating! They’ve earned a faithful customer in me.

I had an appointment with Felicia. First of all, I will say she was nice. But DO NOT let her touch you. My appointment was only scheduled to last for an hour (legs and Brazilian) and it took 2 and a half hours. No, I did not take any breaks. She often times lost grip of the hard wax while it was on my vag. I thought I was working with a student. She definitely needs a lot more practice as this was the longest, most painful Brazilian I had ever experienced. I only went here because the reviews were great but that’s probably because of the experience Victoria has. Felicia was chosen for me and the woman at the front desk assured me she was skilled and knew what she was doing. –_​_​– NOT. She is the petite Asian woman there, do not let her put hot wax on your body! I don’t want anyone to experience the butter hands of this unskilled individual.

I was traveling in Tallahassee before the 4th of July holiday weekend and used Unilocal to find a great waxing place. I went with Bare Waxing & Skin Care for the all 5 star reviews, and it was absolutely right on! The best waxing experience I’ve ever had. Victoria is the best at what she does and no one can beat her prices! The staff is professional and the entire building is clean. I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Victoria today for my wax appt and I must say she was great. From the cleanliness of the office and sense of welcomeness from the front desk staff Bare is the place to be for all your waxing needs. They use mostly if not all organic products and have a very strict policy on cleanliness, which I love! (No double dipping here) This was my first time visiting bare and not once did I feel out of place. Victoria made me feel as if I was one of her long time clients and I greatly appreciated that. I will most definitely be back!

I wish everyone in Tallahassee was familiar with Bare Waxing and Skin Care Center. This facility is clean; every client receives a clean individual pack of utensils (i.e. tweezers). The staff is so kind and friendly. You will never feel embarrassed or awkward around the staff here. The services are appropriately priced. A Brazilian wax should not be near $ 50 like some other facilities. Bare Waxing and Skin Care Center charges an appropriate amount for each serve they provide. The service is thorough, low on the pain threshold, and quick. The wax is professionally done. I’ve had waxes before from a few different facilities and by far this one is my favorite. I will never go looking for another waxing center.
