I called Cupcake Cache at 5PM LA time and by 7AM the next morning, Michael and his wife had 3 dozen cupcakes made and ready to be delivered to the Crown Plaza Hotel in Tampa. The cupcakes were an amazing hit with our clients. The order process was effortless and Michael even made out a card for our recipients. 5 stars, A+, and every other top accolade you can give.

Owned by a local couple, one is a retired veteran. Owner was nice, attentive, and knowledgeable about his product. I tried the Root Beer Float, as this seems to be a creative flavor, and not something run of the mill like Red Velvet (which I LOVE, but I feel like I need to not try this as my first cupcake since I have a bias anyway). The cake part was very moist and flavorful (white cake) and filled with rootbeer filling that was equally as flavorful as well as the icing. They got the rootbeer flavor on point, filling was like a rootbeer pudding, icing was smooth, not too sweet. The cupcake had the right cupcake to icing ratio. It was topped off with a root beer licorice, which I ate. Loved it so much that I bought one for my boyfriend and he gave this cupcake a perfect «10». Excited to come back, as this shop has very creative and interesting flavors that I’m now eager to try.

I walked in to a throw back to the 80s. If you like vhs tapes and frozen, yet dry, cupcakes… this place is for you. Creepy customer service, even worse cupcakes.

Cupcake cache is the devil I tell you! But they make sinning feel so sweet! it was love at first sight when I came across their pumpkin cupcake and after the first bite, I was hooked. Oh and they serve it all year long, not just in fall/​winter! Let me advise you to try more than one flavor because every cupcake I have had from here instantly makes my mood turn harmonious! Boyfriends are you listening? People who have pissed off their boss? Basically stop in this place and make you and the people around you happier with a box of cupcakes!

Gourmet cupcakes are all the latest rage, and this couple has definitely made their mark on it. They have such a huge variety I recommend for your first trip just getting a few and make it a baker’s choice… cause they all sound so delicious. The cupcakes are fairly large and I was able to split them into four so that a few of us could get mix and match some flavors… though to be honest I would have gobbled up a couple of them whole on my own.
They only make a limited amount each day so get in early or make sure you pre-​order the day before. Not all flavors are available each day, unless you pre-​order… so you know… pre-​order!

I live by Cupcake Cache and occasionally go there to get a cupcake. Their cupcakes are amazing but the night howl is my favorite flavor. Give Cupcake Cache a try, you won’t regret it.

In town from ohio and tried this place out. I ate the peanut butter cupcake and it was to die for and the brownie cupcake which was alright my girlfriend ate the cache and like it and ate the root beer cupcake and said it was decent would deffently fo back agian

Cupcake Cache is my favorite cupcake place in Tampa Bay. The owners are friendly and are masters at their craft. I have tried numerous cupcakes there in the past year and never had a cupcake that I did not like.
The flavors are always intense and surprising — these aren’t the bland, mouth-​drying cupcakes you will find find at your local grocery store. These are quality, moist cupcakes that will melt in your mouth.
Fairly priced and with numerous varieties — new cupcakes are regularly being rolled out as well (check out their Facebook page for updates on new types). Their shop is small, but they’re happy to work with groups if you plan ahead. Make sure you go earlier in the day as well or call ahead because they tend to sell out by the afternoon time and unless you call they only sell what they stocked for the day.

Perhaps you are like me and love the holidays that include wrapped gifts. You look at those packages and wonder what is inside. Cupcake Cache is the dessert equivalent of that. These are cupcakes stuffed with a special surprise. With over 48 different varieties that have been crafted, the Cupcake Cache is definitely not short on innovation. On any given day there will be 10 or so flavors displayed for you to choose from. The Cupcake Cache will also do orders. Call ahead in advance and they will make whatever flavor you want. They also offer Revolution Ice Cream Company Pints for sale. Today, I did the pink lady, like a decadent lemonade that was pink and rosy outside and full of lemon curd inside. My wife did a chocolate one that was stuffed with a Hershey kiss. Best cupcakes I’ve had in the Tampa region.

Co-​owners and husband and wife team Michael and Eve Dobbins are the masterminds behind these generous, gorgeous, gourmet crave-​worthy cakes. They admittedly «bake their butts off» to create 12 — 20 different varieties daily.
The small shop is located near Busch Gardens and decorated with movie memorabilia to help customers connect with childhood memories and, in turn, connect with a specific theme or inspiration behind one of these tasty pastries.
Their goal is to make these cupcakes extraordinary so the Dobbins dream up imaginative combinations, clever names and take the entire cupcake to another level by stuffing chocolate candies or baking cookie dough or adding some sweet secret ingredient into every center.
In addition to cupcake creations, Cupcake Cache also serves ice cream from the Revolution Ice Cream Co., another locally owned and operated business.

Owned by a local couple. They were very friendly and helpful when I went in. The cupcake I ordered was delicious and reasonably priced. They have a ton more variety available for special order, but maybe just about 15 flavors for purchase.

Cupcake Cache is a little bakery close to Mel’s Hot Dogs on Busch. They have a pretty wide variety of cupcakes all of which are cutely decorated.
Today was my first time stopping by, and I picked up the Sweet Po’Tater, which was described to be a «Spice cake filled with a creamy mixture of sweet potato, brown sugar and raisins, topped with a milk chocolate maple icing then sprinkled with bacon chunks. Rhett may have cared a little more if Scarlett had served these up for dessert!». It was quite delicious — I liked that it wasn’t overly sweet and didn’t seem greasy (I hate when grease is oozing out of wrappers), but that cupcake seemed moist without being greasy or soggy.
I also ordered a cookies-​n-​cream overload (will review when I eat it :)).
On the exterior it doesn’t look impressive, but the cupcakes make up for it. :) They also decorated the interior with movie posters.
They also sell homemade ice cream by the pint, though I haven’t tried that yet; and glasses of milk to go with the cupcakes.
($ 3.00 per cupcake)

Great selection of cupcakes. Very friendly staff. I had the sweet potato and the chocolate peanut butter. The chocolate peanut butter tasted just like a Reese cup! Next time ill be sure to get the pumpkin.
