The vintage care that my husband and I had as our getaway car was beautiful! Booking the car easy and I was able to stay within my budget. Classy Chassis made sure to show up on time and the driver was extremely safe and nice. He gave us privacy, but was friendly when we spoke to him. Classy Chassis provided great service and I highly recommend them for weddings and special events!

Mel & his team were absolutely great to work with. We were discouraged by several other vendors for hiring a classic car for our wedding getaway. Then we found Mel and he made everything perfect. Willing to work with us on the details and was so professional. Was a great ending to a perfect wedding day for us. You won’t be disappointed!

Mel was a huge help from the beginning. He went through everything with my fiancé and I and I am pleased to say that was great. The level of professionalism is none like I have ever seen. I had the pleasure of arranging for a classic beauty for a wedding in August as a gift to the bride. From the very beginning, Mel made it a very easy, smooth process. The car was absolutely gorgeous and the driver, Tim, was on-​time and professional. If you are looking to rent a classic for a wedding, photo shoot, dinner out with your love or any special event, I wouldn’t consider using anyone else. Classy Chassis provided us with a gorgeous car and a wonderful driver for our August 1^st wedding day. Mel was a class act and was very kind and accommodating as we tried to book a fairly last minute car for our big day. The Rolls Royce was such an added touch of magic and gave a real fairytale ending to our church wedding. The drive from the church to our reception venue also gave us some very special alone time together in what was otherwise a day filled with people surrounding us at all times and our driver was very unobtrusive and professional. We really valued those moments together in the car and it was also really neat to have people honk and wave at us with congratulations as we drove down the freeway! We are so happy we chose Classy Chassis for our wedding day and would do it all over again in a heartbeat!

There are a number of options for people who want to rent a vintage limo — something beyond a stretch Hummer or a Lincoln or a Cadillac. After doing my research and talking to a number of limo operators I selected Classy Chassis for our daughter’s wedding. That was a great decision!
Mel and his staff are very easy to work with and will come up with a plan that meets your budget (not so much with other companies). They are responsive when you have questions or are just confirming your reservation. The 1963 Rolls Royce we had was awesome which made for a spectacular entrance at the church as the bride and groom were coming out of the ceremony. The couple had no idea what kind of a limo I had rented for them and when they saw the sable and sand RR, their faces just beamed!
I had worked with Mel on the rental arrangements but didn’t expect him to be our driver. Surprise, there was Mel opening the door to the limo for our beautiful bride to enter into the beautiful car. He is the nicest man and genuinely cares about his client’s experience.
Classy Chassis and Mel are a Class A operation. You will be beyond pleased with the experience!
P. S. Be prepared to have your wedding guests swarm the limo to have pictures taken with it.

Wow! What an amazing experience. We rented the 1958 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud for our wedding day and we couldn’t be any happier with our experience. Mel showed up to our hotel 20 mins before pick up time and texted us to let us know that our ride was waiting outside. He opened and closed the doors for us as we entered and exited the clean car. We felt like we were superstars with all of the attention we were getting from the public. He even provided us with snacks and water while we were sitting in traffic. Mel was an absolute pleasure to work with from beginning to end. He even took a bunch of photos from his cell phone and emailed them to us since our wedding photographer hasn’t finished our professional photos (I was a bit antsy to show off a cool picture of the car). The only disappointment I had was having to get out of the car because our lovely time had ended. I would recommend them to anyone that is getting married in the SoCal area.

If you want to make your wedding have an extra touch of pure class, then Classy Chassis rentals is what you need. My wife and I wanted to have a special getaway car after our ceremony and a normal limo felt cliché. Looking on Unilocal for limo services, I happened to find Classy Chassis and contacted them for our wedding. Working with Mel was an absolute dream. He gave us a ton of information about his cars and services. You can tell he really takes pride in his work and making a wedding day extra special. We ended up choosing the white 1962 Rolls Royce with the long wheelbase. The car is beautiful and seeing it waiting for us after our ceremony was fantastic. We also did a grand exit after our ceremony that include our guests lining up and cheering us on as we walked towards the car. The pictures came out amazing! Mel was also our driver for our wedding day, he worked with our photographer, and he had cold water for our car ride. Little things like those listed showed how special this company is. We highly recommend Classy Chassis rentals for your special day. You will not be disappointed.

My daughter and son-​in-​law used his RR for their wedding. The car was beautiful and the service was great! But that’s not even the best part!
My daughter had lost the rosary that I gave her from when I got married 30 years ago right after the ceremony. When we saw the wedding album pictures, I noticed she might have lost it in the car on the way from the wedding to the venue. Needless to say, I noticed that 6 months after the wedding, but I thought I would try and call Classy Chassis to see if anyone had turned one in. Mel answered the phone and was very polite, but said that no one had turned one in, but that he would go to the shop and look in the car. I knew it was a long shot, but Mel was more than willing to give it a shot.
Then, OMG! Would you believe he found it! He actually removed the whole seat just to make sure that he gave it a thorough search, and it paid off! He was almost as happy as I was that he found it! Then, to make things even better, he offered to deliver it to my sister’s house since we lived far away and he didn’t want to put it in the mail. WOW! Now that’s going above and beyond what I ever expected!
I will forever be grateful to Classy Chassis and their wonderful customer service! Thank you soooo much Mel! You’re the greatest!!!

I wanted to thank Mel for providing us with the Rolls Royce for our wedding this past weekend. The driver was incredibly professional and nice. We took pictures at the city hall and other people there were taking pics of the car as well. It was a beautiful touch to our wedding and it was exactly what I had pictured. The car was beautiful. We did everything via email but we never had a problem reaching him. Thank you so much again!!!

I hired Classy Chassis to provide our «getaway car» as a surprise for my husband to pick us up from our wedding venue at the end of the night. Mel was a delight to work with and set everything up beautifully. Our driver was fantastic– friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable about the car (my husband was super into it and had a lot of specific questions!). It was such a fun touch and totally worth it. Also, especially now that the wedding is over, I am very grateful to Classy Chassis for their professionalism and reliability. Such a fun capstone on our wonderful night!

If I could give Classy Chassis more stars I would!!!
I recently got married on Sept 6 and we used Classy Chassis as our method of transportation (we reserved the 1960 white RR). From the initial meeting the manager has always been on top of it! He responded quickly to my request for a RR for our wedding, met with us within the same week and had our contract ready to go. What really sold us was that he let us see the selection of RR that he had available for the day of AND let us sit in them. After we set up all the details for our big day the manager always responded within a timely manner and answered any questions I had. On the day of our wedding the driver was early, took the quickest route to the church, photos, and reception, and most importantly WAS EXTREMELY NICE!!! He even helped me with my wedding dress and assisted our photographer with holding my veil out in the wind (haha). To top it off, a few minutes into the reception I realized I was no longer wearing my garter and I had no idea where I lost it! My mother took the time to call Classy Chassis & see if it was left behind, which in fact it was (how that happened I don’t know). They went ahead and mailed it back to me free of charge.
My husband and I had the best experience with classy chassis!
Oh, and did I mention we had champagne and chocolate covered strawberries awaiting us after the ceremony ;)

We hired this company for our wedding on September 13, 2014. We found them online and drove to meet with Mel so we could see the cars. The cars are absolutely beautiful and thankfully the car we wanted was still available. The pick up time was set for 2:00 because the ceremony was set for 2:30 (the church is really close to were I was set to be picked up.) The car didn’t show up at 2 and my dad had to drive me in my brother in laws car. Anyway I made it on time and once the ceremony was over the car was waiting for us. Our driver Mike was awesome and he explained that he was told 3:00 pm. My husband had already reached out to Mel prior to my arrival at the church and Mel seemed very remorseful about the confusion. Needles to say Mel was wonderful and even extended us an hour.

I just used Classy Chassis Rentals for my clients wedding and they were great! I had a great experience during the booking process with Mel and my client was very happy on her wedding day. Thank you for the great service and I hope to book you again!

Dealing with, who I believe is running the place, Mel, I had a very pleasant experience. He was very nice for the most part until I complained about their driver — Pierre. He insisted Pierre was the top of the line driver and would never do anything to breach a contract… It’s a little offensive to be called a «liar» indirectly that way.
Pierre had previous arrangements to be somewhere after my wedding — he had his nephew’s graduation to get to. My contract was from 2 pm — 6:30 pm and the driver was out of my sight by 6:15 pm. He was on his way out as soon as my husband and I got out of the car at the reception site. My photographer had to stop him and said we were allowed to take photos by the car, seeing as how we had paid for the time. The whole time we were there, the kept tapping his watch which I think is incredibly rude, it’s not like we were going over our contracted time any way. He would not move his car 10 ft into the shade so we could take photos because the sun was too bright.
Our wedding was at The Neighborhood Church and the reception was at the Portofino Hotel.
When I brought my concerns about Pierre leaving earlier than expected from the reception site, he had this to say to me, «The car was there at the Neighborhood church for at least an hour or more after your ceremony ended, more than ample time to take as many photos as you would have liked with the car, In fact a much nicer background at the church than in the parking lot of the Portofino Banquet Hall for a quick 10 minutes or so of pictures.» We discussed this via email which is why I have a direct quote. — I do not need a vendor telling me how or where I should have spent my time taking photos with the car and excusing his driver for leaving early.
We also requested a customized «Just Married Sign» which was only on while it was parked at the Neighborhood Church. We have no photos of that sign on the car, or us in the car with that sign. The driver took it off as soon as he started driving. He also handed a tube to my husband with no explanation and after some back and fourth with Mel we were able to figure out what it was. We could have opened it right then and there, but when it’s your wedding day, who has the time to open tubes to investigate? And we left for our honeymoon the next morning. It would have been a lot easier if the driver would have just told us what it was.
In the end I was refunded for a half hour because of the driver’s early departure, but it certainly does not make up for the photo opportunities we missed out on, his driver tapping his watch, or failing to cooperate in moving his car 10 ft while «on the clock.» Mel was a very nice man, but I was offended at the thought that he defended his driver and made me feel like a liar.
Overall, they were on time, the driver was nice until 6:30 pm started rolling around the corner, we got our sign — be it with no explanation, the sign was on during the ceremony but we never saw it, drove with it on or got to take photos with it. I think all of this could have been avoided with better communication and hiring someone who didn’t have somewhere else to be — literally.
I’ve never hired a driver for such a big occasion like this, so I don’t know if this behavior is common but I would hope not.
