Jean has a gem of a shop in Tarzana Ca. If you are an expat or an Anglophile craving more of the British vacation grub from the pub. Oh Fancy That, probably has it. The Décor is quaint. The variety is huge. Definitely a must on the list.

What a cute store! The second you walk in you see décor and the cutest selection of British items from wall to wall. They get deliveries weekly and are always stocked with goodies. Customer service is top notch here and the owner is the sweetest most helpful person. I really don’t get the negative reviews here because each time I walk in I’m greeted with a smile and welcomed warmly. I always ask so many questions about this or that and am always treated with patience. Love love, love, this little store.

After reading all the fluffed reviews I was expecting to be wowed by both the store and the owner. Neither of which occurred.
The shop was empty and when she came out she was quite cold. Like I was interrupting her.
The selection was ok. Most everything there could be found at World Market. The only saving grace were the crisps. There was a large selection, prices were a little high though.

Very nice place to go and get some tea and english biscuits and chocolates. i enjoy the variety of news papers; for me its nostalgic to be in this store. So for these reasons i give five stars

This store is so cute! Came in to purchase some random treats my British friend told me to try. Bought some candy and marmite. The owner (I’m assuming) was very sweet and complimented me on my hair and we chatted a little. I noticed they had a freezer with steak and kidney pies and such. I definitely want to try those next time. I’ll definitely have to stop in again to get my crunchie fix!

After reading all of the good reviews about the friendly service and England-​centric banter going on in here, I decided a visit to this place was a must.
So on 07÷02÷15, I took my GF here in hopes of buying a TON of Cadbury stuff and to experience some of their English knowledge and charm. Unfortunately, the woman behind the counter (owner Jean Karasek?) pretended like we weren’t there and tried to look busy, which made us feel quite unwelcome in the TOTALLY EMPTY STORE (*cricket chirp*).
After about 5 minutes of us hovering around looking at items and hoping to be addressed, we decided this place was bollocks and we left. I’m aware that I’m ugly, but at least want my money, lady…
We searched Unilocal for another British option and found Buchanan Arms (also on Unilocal) in Burbank. They were much friendlier and we had a nice early dinner in the restaurant/​pub before loading up on sweets in the ATTACHED U.K. THEMED SHOP.
Sadly, NOBODY at Buchanan Arms seems even faintly British, but the service was friendly and our food was GREAT (chips perfectly crispy and NOT greasy). They also had all of the candy we wanted in a store they own next door called The Piccadilly British Shop!!!
Sad that we’re not welcome in «Oh, Fancy That British», the place we INTENDED to go. Instead, we found a different place to get what we wanted AND get a nice, cooked meal. :)

This is the cutest little shop. It’s so warm and welcoming. The owner is half the reason that I go there she truly is so so sweet. I love the chocolate assortment, and the sodas on top of all of the other things this store has to offer. Stop by, you won’t be disappointed.

A gem of a place, though it is a bit of a drive for me I will continue to go back. Many items I have not seen before, I was so pleased.

I was quite at a loss, trying to come up with a birthday gift for a British friend. I wandered into «Oh, Fancy That!» looking for inspiration. The owner, a very friendly woman, took time to help me and together we came up with the idea of a fun bag of British treats. I asked for her advice on what would be the most quintessential goodies, and she suggested things like Horlicks, crisps, Cadbury chocolate and so forth. She found me a «Rule Britannia» gift bag and I filled it with several items, including a can of Bass Shandy and a can of spotted dick. :-) All that came to a very reasonable $ 35. What a pleasant experience!

The only place to shop for British goodies in the San Fernando Valley. Wonderful customer service and a great variety.

At least every other week I have to get my «Oh Fancy That» fix. The owner Jean is a very helpful, sweet lady. I buy my tea, my Licorice allsorts and my chocolate bars there. I love perusing the store for anything new. Sometimes I grab a couple of free newspapers. For a little more money I prefer to give it to Jean and her store.

I absolutely love this place. The owner is warm and accommodating and always available to help out… or available just to talk about all things British. :) Please help keep family owned small businesses such as these alive, as we see less and less of this in Los Angeles anymore!

Being very into the British culture and country and spent time in London myself, this shop is lovely! There were fun knick knacks and yummy british foods, tea, candy, etc. There was also some nice teacups, I ended up buying two, with some Cadbury drinking chocolate :-) the owner was pleasant too. Will be back soon when my cadbury and tea supply run out!

This store has so many delightful and yummy treasures! Lots of hard to find foods and beloved ingredients and gifts from England. Plus, the owner is such a gem! I highly recommend this lovely little store!

Interesting store of British souvenirs, trinkets, candy bars, frozen foods, and more.
I took a quick stroll around the store and on my way out. If I’m ever in the mood for some marmite, Vegemite, canned goods, British chocolate candy bars, tea, biscuits, or frozen food items, I now know I can come here instead of heading to Cost Plus World Market.

Not becase of all the filly willy stuff they sell but the custmer service is good. You are always greeted with a smile.

This palace offers some of the best products from the UK… It is somewhat more expensive BUT I haven’t come across many places like that in the Valley… And everytime I sip my tea or enjoy my Peri Peri it’s so bloody worth it…
The lady is super duper nice and she is always helpful…
