Our A/​C had been having issues not cooling despite running all night/​day long. We knew there was an issue, but didn’t know if it was electrical or mechanical. Since we were still under our HWA policy period I called them. The first company HWA sent out spent 20 min in my home and only added freon. I knew something bigger was going on, but they explained away the situation, blaming recent temps and being quarter pound low on freon. A day later when the issue returned, RARE was sent out and thank goodness! They spent a great amount of time looking over my system, finally diagnosing my unit with a major issue. They listened to all of the things I had seen or heard from my system and didn’t ignore my questions. Once the issue had been diagnosed, the repair parts were ordered and delivered the next day. They were quick to install, thorough in their work, clean and professional. The provided recommendations for my system’s performance improvement and even clean my exterior unit. I will definitely call them again if I have any future A/​C issues.

My wife and I had our AC go out last night — 4^th of July — boo!!! Today we woke up and called our Home Warranty place but it took three follow up calls before they could help us. They found Howie over at R.A.R.E and he seemed to be the only guy in Texas working on July 5^th. He not only answered on the weekend but he made it out on the same day but he also fixed the problem, talked us through the issue and then gave us advice on saving month to month. My A.C. unit is as old as dirt and when I do replace it I will reach back out to Howie. I truly appreciate his/​their service and attitude. 5 stars easy. Thanks again, R.A.R.E & Howie!

The A.C. stopped working in our rental home and I have to say I am very happy that the homeowners called Dave from R.A.R.E. as not only did he explain to me what had happened and repaired it quickly but being here in Austin only 2 weeks gave us some insight on how to use the A.C. more efficiently and how we can deal with the summer heat better. I know that when my wife and I buy our home here in Austin Dave and R.A.R.E. services will who I will be calling for my A.C. repair needs.
