Specialties
Welcome to the Stone Center for Yoga & Health, where we teach the person, not the pose.
Our center is a tranquil sanctuary where you can retreat from the stresses of daily life and discover healthy, mindful ways to nurture yourself, body, mind and spirit. In classes, private sessions, workshops and trainings, you are invited to experience yoga, yoga therapy and wellness programs that are sensible, nourishing, empowering and fun.
We specialize in offering safe, sensible yoga classes that range from Gentle Yoga for Stress Management, to Power Flow, Hot Yoga, and YogaSculpt, as well as Yoga for Bone Strength/Osteoporosis. We adapt our classes for individual conditions and needs. We also offer private yoga therapy and coaching, and a Yoga Alliance-accredited Teacher Training.
History
Established in 1999.
Stone Yoga began in a small storefront on The Plaza. After five successful years we had outgrown our cozy storefront, and moved to our current location, which is wheelchair accessible.
