All Pro Treadmill Service

Dan Leon, the proprietor of this so called business, is a scammer. He took our $ 500 for a replacement part and ran. He is unreachable. It’s been over a year. I read of the same experience of others on Unilocal.And by the way, it turned out the replacement part was not even needed.

DONT CALL OR USE THIS PERSONS SERVICE! DAN LEON is the owner of the company and is EXTREMELY SHADY. He didn’t show up many times upon scheduling a date and time for checking out the treadmill. He came and we paid $ 258 for the belt and the 5 year warranty for the belt. 3 days later the belt shifted to the right. We called him and he said he would come Tuesday between 2−4pm. He flaked and said he was coming on Friday, January 21 between 2 – 4 and never showed up. He ignores our phone calls and when we called from another number he bitched us out about us calling him. We are taking action and will file against him.

horrible business man. this guy dan (the owner) came to see the precor. said we need this and that.
finally when we agreed on a time and day, he stood me up. tld me hes running 1hr behind. i waited for 3 hours!!! tried calling him and his phone went straight to voice mail.
i dont know how he keeps his soo called business.

He showed up on time and diagnosed the problem right away. He had me pay for the belts it needed and then came back on a later day to install them. Overall good service and my elliptical is working great. Wish he cleaned up after himself and threw away the left over trash.

I called All-​Pro Treadmill repair yesterday: September 29^th. I wanted to donate my old treadmill because I fried the circuit board and didn’t want to spend money fixing it. Nobody answered my call so I immediately started dialing another treadmill repair service. While dialing my phone rang with an incoming call. I answered it and a man rattled something off, but I didn’t understand him. I said, «Excuse me?» The other end went silent for about five seconds and all of a sudden a man said loudly, «Someone-​from-​this-​number-​just-​called-​here (in a robot voice). I asked who he was and he said that he was Dan from All-​Pro treadmill. I have caller ID, so obviously he pressed star 69 to return my call. I thought, WOW… what an ass!!! I told him that I was looking to donate my treadmill for somebody to use for parts. The motor is probably fine and they are worth a lot of money. He then said that he could fix it and that it wouldn’t be too expensive; around $ 150 for the part and $ 95 for labor. I then said, «So around $ 300 to fix it! He then said, «NO…$ 150 OR THE PART AND $ 95 FOR LABOR EQUALS $ 245!!! Honestly I wasn’t listening to the exact amounts that he was saying and just rounded up and threw out that figure. I told him, «Excuse me, I’m not very good at math!» I seriously just stayed on the phone just to hear what he had to say. After this conversation there was no way that I would have him repair the treadmill or donate it to him. I think this guy either needs anger management therapy or he just really hates women. Either way, he’s a total ass and hot head and from the reviews I have read on here a crook too. This guy has no integrity, so I would highly recommend you look elsewhere for you equipment repairs.
ps…I have been telling my friends and family about this call and we have all been laughing about it for two days now, so at least the call was good for that.

Find anyone else ! Dan will take your money, and never returns to fix the problem. Stay Away!!!

I am disappointed with this company.
I hired Dan 3 years ago to fix my treadmill and he was late to the appointment but he called to let me know.
I just called recently to have the belt replaced on my treadmill. After rescheduling once, he arrived and made the repair. He also told me I needed a new motor. He ordered the motor for me and it was shipped to my home. I called to schedule him to install it and all I have received is excuses and appointment no shows. I finally had another company come out to do the work.
I cannot recommend this company.

My treadmill took a dump and I called them for the repair. Dan came to my home and told me the console has an electrical issue and needed to be sent to Detroit for repair. I believed him, wrote a check for $ 380 and never heard from him again.
DO NOT CALL THIS COMPANY!!!

LOL! After reading all these reviews, how is this guy still in business? I called in to see if they have a part for my particular treadmill, he says he’ll call me back immediately to do a research. Never heard from him again. Shortly I was able to find my part online within 5 seconds and come to find out it is only 7 bucks. Who knows how much he would’ve charged me for this plus labor. Thank you Unilocalers! I would strongly recommend doing online research prior to contacting him. He also seem very condescending over the phone. Very unprofessional.

Our treadmill «died» and we searched online for a repair option. Contacted the phone number and spoke with the owner, Dan, who was friendly and knowledgeable and set up a diagnostic appointment. We were a little weary because of the comments, but decided we’d give them a chance. Technician came out in a timely manner, diagnosed the problem (a motor needed replacement) and put in an order for the part. Called a week later to check on status and the technician had the part was unable to make it due to car trouble. Waited a few more days, and didn’t hear back, so called again and left a message. Waited to hear back, but when I didn’t hear back, decided to give them a call. Spoke with the owner, who apologized for the communication problems. He called me back after checking with the technician, and came out that same day, a couple of hours later, to replace the part and get the treadmill working. Was satisfied with the job done. Spoke to him about the issues raised, and he acknowledged there are some issues with communication. Bottom line, he stepped up to the plate and took care of it.

The only reason I am giving this business 1 star is because of the initial visit Dan paid me. I am located in Torrance, CA. He did a decent job of jerry-​rigging an elliptical that needed a part. He then said he would order the part as well as the part for a workout bike we had.
That was a year ago.
He never returned to do the follow up work on either machine. A few weeks ago I got back in touch with him and after substantial phone tag, got a response and set up an appointment date for last Thursday between 2 and 4 PM to install the replacement part as well as look at a broken treadmill.
He never showed up.
I have since left multiple messages on three different phone numbers, all with All-​Pro recordings on the answering machines. I have not heard back since.
If you look at my review history, I don’t generally leave anything other than positive reviews — it takes a lot to galvanize such a negative reaction on my part. Unfortunately All Pro left a very bad taste in my mouth. Their lack of follow through was bad enough, but not showing up for an appointment followed by ignoring my calls and messages put the nail in the coffin. Take your business elsewhere.

Dan Leon confirms everything that we all fear about treadmill repair people… what a slime ball crook. He came out to replace a console on our Nordic Track treadmill. When he got here, he convinced my wife to also replace the control module which, alas, according to Nordic Track was the wrong one. We have called Mr. Dan back several times, spoke to him, left messages, but all to no avail. Now, thanks to him, all we have is a Nordic Track 1500C paperweight.
He picked the wrong guy this time. When I get through with him, this little episode is going to cost him a fortune in small claims court fees and lost business.
ANYONE who hires this loser is making a huge mistake. Stand by Mr. Dan, karma is coming!

called on Monday. They sent Dan out on Tuesday, arrived on time, and assessed the problem in 15 minutes. I had 5k miles on a 4yr old treadmill (can’t take too much credit… mostly my wife). belt was worn, as was motor.
they were replaced the next day, in just one hour
would have cost at least an extra $ 1k for a new treadmill.
I would definitely call him to tune this sucker back up in 1 – 2 years

Well, Dan did return my call and did show up on time and I paid the $ 95 and no repair was done. I can’t even trust that what he says is the problem is true.
He would be happy to take my treadmill for parts, free.
I wished, also, I had checked Unilocal beforehand.
Now, I am waiting for a return call.
If anything changes regarding his service, I will gladly change this review.

Owner Dan missed 1^st appointment. Apologized and showed up for the next one. Gave me a discount for not showing up first time. $ 95 Service/​Diagnosis and $ 69 for an elliptical belt. Said he would return following week… right! Four weeks later after I had made several calls and text to him, he shows up last minute with the part WHILE I WAS OUT. The minute he arrived my wife said this guy HAD AN ATTITUDE. He was sarcastic & just crass!!! Charged another $ 120 labor (I’m in the wrong business… $ 120 for 30 min worth of labor) My fault for not reading the small print. I’ve had this belt replaced 4 times now. The other 3 times I spent about $ 120 total. I found him on the web but should have CHECKED Unilocal!!! So Yeah… No STARS for All Pro DAN at 951−553−4703 cell

This guy is a crook. He tried to fix my treadmill 2 times. Then took it to his shop cashed my check and never returned. I took him to court and won but need to find him to collect. Had to buy a new treadmill after him steeling mine.
The guy is a thief don’t call him…

Dan is a crook, took my money and didn’t fix my treadmill. I am going to take him to small claim court. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS CROOK.

Spoke to the owner, and he wouldn’t come to me since I work on a military base. He said he doesn’t have a drivers license or proof of insurance. Told me he hates the military. Seemed shady.

The treadmill broke and Vision Fitness recommended All Pro. Dan arrived, said the motor was bad, and that he needed to order the part. He asked for payment up front (over $ 500), adding that there would be another $ 75 charge upon his return visit. After several empty promises to come «the next day», after two weeks I finally gave up and called my credit card company to have them reverse the charges. He never showed — or even called to reschedule, apologize, or explain. It’s a good thing I work from home so I didn’t have to miss any work, waiting for him.

Dan is a sole proprietor trying to make a living in the treadmill repair business, but unfortunately as nice as he appears to be he’s unprofessional and unethical. He does not return phone calls, he does not meet you on time and you will most likely be disappointed with the service that you do or do not receive. I do not suggest doing business with this company.
