Another place in the Pechanga resort open 24 hours. They have an overwhelming amount of dessert options here cookies, pastries, ice cream, as well as many coffee choices. I tried the white chocolate macadamia nut cookies and they were just ok, nothing I would come back and order. Looks like a lot of their pastries might be on display a little too long, nothing really looks enticing.

I was really in the mood for some boba and I was so excited that Pechanga had a place that serves boba drinks. The Thai tea was ok, but the boba was TERRIBLE! At first glance I thought my drink didn’t have much boba in it, but once I was done, I realized that the boba was clumped up in a slimy mess! It looked so unappetizing that I couldn’t bring myself to eat them. They were so slimy and they were falling apart that when I tried to suck one up with the straw it left goo al over the straw and it got stuck. Why would they even serve this goo?!

I used to grab the snicker doodle cookies from the coffee carts that were all around the casino floor. One day, they were out of those cookies, but the barista was nice enough to tell me to walk over here, since they bake them here and deliver them to the carts. Surprise! Surprise! They had my delicious cookies and much more. In addition to the snicker doodle cookies, which tastes like sugar cookies with cinnamon, they have chocolate chip, peanut butter, and oatmeal cookies. They have all kinds of cakes, from read velvet to cheesecake. They also have gelatos in many different flavors, from pistachio and peach to french vanilla and strawberry. In addition to all that, they also have various hot teas, coffee, hot chocolate, apple ciders, and Boba teas.

This one of two places that you can eat at after 11pm or so in the food court. I really like Caffe Cocoa because they have very good ice cream, cheesecake and chocolates. The desserts in the glass case are very pretty, colorful and the prices aren’t too bad. The line are usually pretty long but it goes kind of quick but sometimes people are paying with some type of reward points.

This little café is huge on variety. Beverages: hot coffee, cappuccino, latte, numerous coffee brewed, hot tea, chai, boba, hot chocolate, sodas… the sweet treats: French pastries, eclairs, carrot cake, chocolate cakes, fruit tarts, cheesecakes, mousses, crème brûlée, chocolate truffles, marshmallow treats, a dozen flavored gelatos from mango to tiramisu… lines are long, prices ok/bit pricy, but hey it’s an Indian gaming casino!

You want some pastries? Come here, the selection is quite good and the portions are large too. But so are their prices. I guess being in a casino doesn’t offer you other alternatives. Wait in lines, even really short ones is long. A good selection of gelato is available as well.

Just like every other restaurant in any resort or casino, it’s a bit overpriced. But when it’s the only coffee shop here and you have no choice, it does the trick. — Constant long lines — Slow pace of baristas — Double checked my order & still messed up, then triple check after she already messed. Like, what? Okay. — Many pastries and desserts — Variety of coffees and teas — Flavored teas(black or green) with boba!

Stopped by after some terrible Mexican food and picked myself up a strawberry banana smoothie! Service was quick, smoothie tasted great, and I had no issues :) I’m not a huge coffee fan, but they certainly have many different options for those looking for a quick coffee or dessert fix while they gamble. Give them a shot!

Is Caffe Cocoa overpriced(like the rest of the food court and restaurant offerings in Pechanga)? You bet it is! But, if your sweet tooth is acting up, then this is the place for you. Every time I’ve gone to Pechanga, I always keep passing the pastry and ice cream counter, relying on my willpower to get me through. However, when I went to meet up with my girlfriend yesterday, and I saw her sipping on an iced green tea with lychee jelly, my willpower went out the window. Kat and I split one of the scones, and I ordered an iced green tea with lychee jelly for myself. While the scone would’ve tasted better with a hot beverage, the iced tea was quite delicious(not used to seeing the lychee gel in strips as opposed to the cubes I’ve had in the past, but it was still good). The pastries range from $ 2.95−4.95, and the drinks are roughly in the same price range. As I mentioned, Caffe Cocoa is a tad on the expensive side, but at least it’s worth it. There’s lots of stuff here that I want to try — especially the eclairs and ice cream — so it appears that my willpower may have to be suppressed a little longer next time I’m at Pechanga.

Chocolate truffles? Brownies? Marshmallow squares? Gelato? Sugar-free chocolate mousse? Danishes? Cakes? Eclairs? Muffins? You have a sweet tooth? Yes, this place is for you. I got the sugar-free chocolate mousse the first time and 2 scoops of gelato in a waffle cone the second time. The chocolate mousse was creamy and somewhat rich considering it’s free of sugar. The rocky road and ultra chocolate gelato provided a cool treat for the hot weather that I’m not used to. Right when I decided to get 2 scoops instead of 1, my guy rolled his eyes partially whilst shaking his head because I ordered more than I should have but you know what? I know you love me no matter how messy of an eater I am and no matter how much of a pig I really am. I love you, Kevin T.

On my last visit to Pechanga, Caffe Cocoa was the only thing open after 10pm apparently –so hello, mint chocolate chip ice cream in a gigantic sprinkle cone, AKA my dinner for the night. I think I love you. omnomnom.
