If I could give NEGATIVE review, I will! Despite all the troubles my friends went through by driving a problematic Vehicle, they were not in business to make customer feel safe or happy. If you want to have a great vacation, find someone else.
I have studied and worked in Hospitality industry for a long time (Since 1999 from Switzerland), never seen such an unreasonable business owner or business owner’s wife. And when I asked her for business license number, she just simply said to check it online. If all is good, why hide? Just tell us or show it on the office wall. I feel sorry for the actual owner or employees who are trying to help the situation.
I have worked in few mediation cases and court cases, her attitude is definitely not right to solve the problem or looking out for the future.

I wish I would have thought of this sooner! Vacation has totally changed in my family since I found Code3 RV! As a single mom trying to have vacations made easy and affordable, The service Code3 offers of delivery and take down was a game changer for us! I have 2 boys who love to camp and 1 girl who loves to #glamp… that is they love the activity, not the put up and take down– or tank maintenance! Not only do we use Code 3 for all local camping now, we use them for special events, or guests spending time in town! The service is always friendly and extremely helpful. They are available ²⁴⁄₇ if you need help for some reason after hours… which is such a reassurance for me! Every rental has been super clean, and easy to operate! Thank you guys for being so helpful to us!!!

Beware, this is not the company I would recommend to my worst enemy! I rented from them twice and both times they left me hanging!!! 1^st time they rented me a toy hauler and the generator did not work correctly and I was stuck in the desert for 5 days with no heater on thanksgiving weekend with my family!!! They did not refund 1 dollar and told me I would receive a discount on my next rental! So I decided to rent from them again, boy was that a mistake! They booked me, promising they would give me the discount and when I got there, the same person that told me it would be honored said that she was not authorized to do so and would take care of it once I returned! when I went to pick it up the unit was dirty, they were still doing repairs when I got there there and the tires were low, after the 2 hour wait … I took the unit and went on my trip!!! DISASTER STRIKES AGAIN! The unit generator breaks down again and the toilet gets clogged and I have to be in the cold while smelling facies for my family trip!!! Unbelievable!!! Then I get back and give them my complaints and they still have me the I’m not authorized to give you a refund!!! Imagine how I left!!! Upset ain’t the word!!! Still waiting on someone to call me and make this right!!! This company is just outright unprofessional and will steal your money any chance they can get!!! Customer service is the last thing on there mind! I will update once I hear from them and their final decision !!! DONT DO IT !!!

I had a great experience using Code 3 RV… I have rented from them 3 times and in all instances I was very please with the my rentals. They are fair and are very helpful. I plan to rent from them again

I recently rented a new 21 foot toy hauler for the weekend. The trailer was much nicer then I would have expected from a rental. Extremely clean, everything worked, and the layout was perfect for a family of 4. I will definitely rent again from Code 3 RV.

Wow!!! What a great experience! My family and I decided to rent trailer for our annual camping trip to the beach. Every year we pack up and head down to the beach. We set up our tents and spend the week at South Carlsbad State Beach. This year we decided to try something different, we decided to rent a trailer. I was a little apprehensive to do so given that it is a big responsibility renting a big trailer. I have never towed anything before. I didn’t know where to begin, so I started with a google search. Several RV companies popped up and I began to call them. The first two companies (which shall remain nameless) we not very friendly on the phone. Then I came to the third company I called «Code3RV». The woman that answered the phone was inviting and friendly. She invited me to come to the lot and look at the trailers. Given that it was local and convenient I drove down to their location. I was able to look at what trailers they had on hand at the time. The gentleman that showed me around the lot was very informative and reassuring that I would be able to tow the trailer with my truck. I found the trailer that I wanted to rent. I went into their office and spoke with the woman at the front counter. Please forgive me, I am terrible with names and cannot names for the life of me (hahaha). I made the reservations and went on my way. The day of my trip came and I headed down to the yard and picked up the trailer. The same guy that showed me around was able to set me up with the trailer. He gave me a quick once around to make sure I knew how to work everything on the trailer. Once I got set up the family and I headed down to the beach. We spent a week at the site. The trailer provided everything we needed for luxury camping at the beach. The kids never came out of the trailer. They thought it was coolest thing ever. We had always camped in tents, so they never had experienced «trailer life» before, hahaha. Having the comfort of a bed, shower, toilet and a stove was a great bonus to our trip. We returned the trailer and I wasn’t comfortable pulling into the lot, so the same gentleman that helped me earlier, backed in the trailer for me.
I know it was long winded, but I really wanted to give credit to where it was deserved. Thank you again Code3RV for adding to the experience of our annual beach camping trip. We are looking forward to next year and renting from you guys again.

This place gets it! Ive rented 2 times and the world of renting an RV was scary place to a beginner and NON outdoors man like me. I wanted a unit for Tail gate originally and that went great. easy enough Flat ground and a mobile party was easy, the second time i wanted to experiment on a family vacation and do do something out of the norm, A STAYCATION we found an amazing beach front campground about 4 miles from our house. I had them deliver (They hooked everything up, leveled the unit) The delivery fee in my opinion is the beyond fair and saved me a lot of stress as an RV Virgin. All we had to do was enjoy the sunset and the Champagne. Customer service and attention to detail were right on point, i had a conversation with on of their mechanics when i went in to reserve the unit and found he was military vet who fresh out of the service! I’m always a fan of businesses that employ vets coming home. I will definitely rent from Code 3 again, i may even attempt to drive the unit myself!

I did call you (multiple times) on the day of service. There was no answer. Funny how you can’t find me in your system; guess your customer service person is inadequate. How do you know my exact name or phone number by this review? Nice try, but you won’t get another chance to work on my RV.

The family and I rented the 19 foot attitude toy hauler for 5 days from code 3 rv. They were very friendly from the get go and I would highly recommend this company to anybody in need of their services. They ensure you understand how the trailers work and they don’t charge and arm and a leg to rent from them. They make the process very easy with there available packages. Also, I don’t know if I can say this, but they gave us a special deal for my buddy and I renting two units (he rented the 19 foot stellar) for a trip to ocotillo.
«Raz» was awesome and gave us a very detailed tour of our unit and again, he made sure to answer all our questions no matter how redundant they were.

We have rented several RV’s over the years and this was the first time that we used Code3.
Everyone was polite and professional and the process from check out to check in was easy.
The unit we rented was clean and comfortable, but it had some years on it so it had a couple things here and there (nothing major) and, besides, we’re camping… we’re not at a 5 star hotel. I’d rent that same unit again with no problem.
Definitely give them a call if you’re renting!

I called Code 3 RV in the morning to see if we could rent a toy hauler for 5 days… oh and we wanted to pick it up later that day. They came through!
I showed up at 3pm and was given a very thorough orientation on both the trailer and how to hookup properly to my truck. After the orientation, I signed some paperwork and was on my way.
The unit was clean and everything worked as expected. We had a great vacation.
We will use them again.

I love this place even when I needed a trailer last minute they were there for methanks code 3 RV. I have rented three times from them and always will.

Not sure about the negative reviews on these guys, I’ve always been fortunate I guess. I do know they recently underwent new ownership/​management changes in the last couple months so maybe look for the most recent posts for reliable and updated info. We rented an RV for my daughter’s birthday and things couldn’t have gone any smoother. We had their rep drop off the RV at our camp spot and hook everything up as well. I thought it was a great bargain for $ 25/​hr extra for travel to have them tow and and hook up. When we were done, they came and picked it up. How convenient! Especially since we only own a Prius and probably wouldn’t be able to get it out of the parking lot hahaha jk, but not really. There was plenty of propane available too. My wife’s family is Armenian and they live/​love to BBQ. My father in law was on the grill for hours. If you do run run out, there’s a back up tank ready to go. Nice, large LED TV and decent radio.
The guy who did our walk-​through looked like an ex con but he was super nice. My only complaint was that he refused my gratuitous handshake. That is, he graciously declined my $ 20. All in all, I have to say my experience with Code 3 was A+. We just booked our next little outing headed to Kern River and we can’t wait

My husband and I don’t have much RVing experience, so we were really grateful for Code 3 RV’s smooth service. They delivered our RV in a timely manner and for a great price. The delivery guy hooked everything up and gave us a minnie tour. Simple and easy! Thanks to their services and awsome RV, we got to enjoy a luxurious beach sunset. Now that we have RVing experience we can’t wait for our next adventure!

We live in OC and came to Temecula because this place had the best offers for miles around. From start to finish this place gave top notch customer service. It was our first time renting a travel trailer. SUCCESS! All staff we interacted with gave us 100% & all super friendly. Gave us a very nice fully functional 28 footer with a slide. Everything we needed to hook up to the truck & the camp site. Full tour and run down on how everything worked. They don’t try to nickel and dime you for every little option. Just a flat rate. Didn’t charge us extra to clean the trailer when we where done. Will definitely use them again and soon. Lots of trailer options & flexible even though we called last minute (2days) before we wanted the trailer. You’ll be happy with these guys!

I had a great experience renting from Code3rv. The customer service was great. This was our first time renting a trailer/​RV and they were very helpful and informative. I liked the wide selection of RVs and trailers. We rented a beautiful large trailer that fit our family perfect. We will definitely be using them in the future.

We rented 3 units for a week at Lake Skinner.
2 of the initially booked units were unavailable. The replacement units met and exceeded our expectations.
We had some minor issues. We were told the repairs could not be made on site
The units were on site waiting for us upon our arrival. Unfornunately we missed our scheduled orientation. Staff members were easily accessible by telephone and quickly answered most of our questions. We posed a couple of questions to which there was no follow up or the answer was unknown.
Overall it was a great week and we look forward to working with Code 3 in the future

So we just finished our Memorial Day weekend camping trip. First time renting from Code 3, and needless to say they will not get my money again. The trailers are not worth the money they rent for. A couple of problems we had; the table in the camper didn’t properly fit into the holes so we were unable to eat inside the trailer comfortably. Second problem was the set up guys didn’t run our hose from the bathroom to the ground water run off, so after only 2 showers, we were unable to use the shower. We called and vented our frustrations, but as with any business that is just looking for the money, they blamed it on the set up guys and stated that «if we would have called» they would have told us how to do it. Really, after we paid THEM to set it up. So my advice is to rent from somewhere other than this place. Good luck.

Unfortunately customer service is not their high point.
We rented an RV for a week vacation. Two days in, the RV broke down and we were stranded at a gas station. We made several phone calls to the company and after 8.5 hours the tow truck finally got the RV out of there. There was a lack of communication with what was going on, so we would have to call them for updates. We also asked for an after hour number in case we needed to contact them for any reason since we were going to be at the gas station after they closed, but nope. They refused! We understand that things happen, but you would think that a little effort and caring could have been put in to a family stranded at a gas station.
They then offered to put us in a hotel for the night: a 2 star hotel with poor ratings because they didn’t want to spend a lot. We weren’t asking for a 5 star hotel, but at least something decent for us to stay in since we had our 2 year old with us. We ended up booking our own hotel because we could get it cheaper than they could (we offered). We will see if we get reimbursed.
Code 3 RV told us to just leave the RV. We didn’t feel right just leaving it stranded at this small gas station for the owner to deal with. It wasn’t right and he appreciated that we had the decency to not just get up and leave like we were told to do.
After our night in the hotel, we did not finally hear from CODE 3 until 3 or 3:30 pm when the RV was done being fixed. We chose to rent a car, since the drive to get to the RV was 20 minutes out and we needed a place for our luggage. I’m not sure what they were thinking. Were we supposed to sit in a lobby all day with our luggage and then walk to pick up the RV?!
CODE 3 RV won’t refund us for anything. 2 days vacation lost, 1 night at a campground lost, and we are out money for a hotel, car and Über. Supposedly they will pay for the hotel, but we will see if that happens.
As a business owner, you have to take the good with the bad. Things happen and we understand that, but to expect your customers to have to pay for vacation time that doesn’t actually happen is wrong!
An apology, better communication and customer service is recommended the next time one of your customers is stranded like we were!

I had my travel trailer repaired here. They are honest, reasonably priced and they let me know the progress along the way. I would recommend them to anyone.

Unfortunately I had to leave a not so great review last year, but I wanted to update accordingly. So CodeRV3 is under new management and they have come to the realization that we went threw a really crappy experience on our vacation. I was extremely impressed that they wanted to correct and make this whole mishap right. I’ve had experiences with other company’s where even if you try and give feedback management simply didn’t give a fuck! I do give CodeRv3 kudos for realizing their mistakes and trying to do the right thing in the name of customer service! Thanks CodeRV3 for doing the right thing :)

One of the first things you should know (because we didn’t) is that most of these trailers are owned by private parties, not the company. So its up to the owner of the trailer to keep up on the maintenance and decide what they want to fix and not to fix. That being said, throughout the rental we had a pleasant experience with the staff.
When we picked up the rental, one of the blinds were missing and they were trying to repair them, but they go the wrong size. We didn’t want to wait for them to return to the store and get new ones so we just went without blinds in 1 window for the trip. The truck to trailer electrical hook up looked like it had been cut somehow and was spliced together with household wire nets (very unsafe). When we arrived at our camp site, we tried to set up the dining room table and realized there were no legs for the dining room table to sit on, so we didn’t have a table. We also could not get the water heater to work. The couch looked like 2 sumo wrestlers had sat on it and it made it very uncomfortable to sleep on. The smoke detector did not function, which is huge in my mind since it safety related.
We ran the generator for a couple of hours at night and it worked fine until the next morning when we couldn’t get it to start. The batteries wouldn’t hold a charge hence not being able to start the generator, even though we practically used no electricity (not even the heater).
Needles to say, we won’t be renting from Code 3 again. Too many issues that should of and could have been caught before we picked up the trailer and nothing included (no towels, bedding, pots, pans, etc) for the high price.

Good selection of RV trailers to rent. This was first time for me to rent a travel trailer. I got a 27′ Milan for my Toyota Sequoia Platinum. Had to install a brake controller from another RV dealer. I think they should provide that service or give a loaner for people who don’t have it in their vehicles cause I’m assuming a lot of renters don’t have that or know about it. Danny the rep there was very helpful along with other people. I will definitely go back there to rent a rv or trailer again. Rates are competitive and reasonable.
