My family and I eat here at least a few times per month. We usually order carne asada burritos, fish burritos, quesadillas and rolled tacos and they are all really good. The staff is friendly and the restaurant is always clean. I recommend Jilbertos to all my friends and family.

Love this place! Their Carne Asada is tasty. Great deal for 12 rolled tacos. The chile relleno plate is yummy and a lot of food for $ 7.50. The staff has always been friendly and the salsa bar is very fresh.

Ok, so I’ve never been to this Jilbertos, I’ve been to one years ago and it was awfull. They are a chain and buy a poor grade of meat for their Asada a item’s. I know this because I’m in the restaurant business and have knowledge of the different meats restaurants use. however the real reason for this post is to tell the owners of this establishment not to kick out their clients because they only buy a drink. My 2 daughters went in here to get a drink, sat down and were told they need to leave because they are about to get busy. The mistake the staff made was that my daughters were waiting for more friends to meet them there to have dinner. Never treat your teenage clients bad, they become successful adults and remember those who treat them bad. My girls left as they were told with no fuss and So they ate panda express, again not a good choice but at least they didn’t get kicked out.

Mexican food establishments are a dime a dozen in the Temecula Valley area. Jilbertos is a small eatery located on the corner end of a strip mall. I noticed that it did get busy during the lunch rush, so plan on getting here early or after 2pm. Ordered the veggie burrito and cheese enchiladas. Both were seasoned well and delicious. They also serve coke in a bottle, which pairs very well with Mexican food. Give this place a try if you’re on that side of town.

We’ve been to quite a few taco shops and this particular one has always been consistently dependable as far as great service and great food. We have been coming almost every weekend for about a year and have never been dissapointed. Can’t wait to try the new menu item — sopes!

Torta lunch combo = soooooo good! If you want a quick, reasonably priced, tasty Mexican meal you have to check this spot out. And what’s more, it’s right down the lane from my office so the Torta combo with beans and a drink for only 5.99 will get me through my days ahead!

I love this place for a good tostada and taquitos, simple food. Their street tacos are also delicious. The girl at the counter is very nice. I would not recommend the chicken tacos however, the taco shell is strange, it must be store bought because it has a formed shape to it. I asked if it was authentic corn tortilla and the girl said yes, but I doubt it was. I also think they could turn on the air during the summer. All in all I enjoy their food and they’re nice people.

Very surprised this is the first review. I’ve driven by hundreds of times and never stopped. Well, we stopped today. It was nothing special unfortunately. We had the chicken taco and enchilada plate. It was very average. However, the amount of chicken in both was above average. They have menudo and I love menudo so maybe I’ll give that a try and update after.
