Riding lessons, boarding and training. Lighted arenas, indoor bathroom and over 100 mature shade trees. Youth and amateur riders our speciality. Super lesson horses for Western and English. All breeds appreciated. Part and full time horse leasing available. Showing for the beginner to advanced rider at small local shows all the way to the National level. Instructor/​Owner is a carded horse show Judge with USEF in Western, Arabians, Morgans, Friesians as well as Pintos and Miniatures. Safety and true horsemanship skills taught. Kathy Callahan-​Smith taught classes at Cal Poly University in the Equine department for 14 years and coached the University’s judging team for 10 years. Our ranch is quiet, clean, small enough for a personal touch yet big enough some social interaction.

Kathy C.

Business Owner

Kathy Callahan-​Smith taught at Cal Poly University in the Equine Department for 14 years, where she taught riding, judging and equine management classes. She was a horse trainer at the Kellogg Horse Unit for 5 years. She also coached the University’s Horse Judging Team for 10 years winning several National Championships. Kathy is currently a carded judge with USEF in Western/​Trail, Arabians, Morgans, Friesians as well as Pintos and Miniatures. She has an excellent group of lesson horses for Western and English. An open minded barn welcoming all breeds, Kathy judges and everything from Western Reining to Hunter/​Jumpers throughout the U.S.
