Lucid Speech & Language Clinic is a child friendly and family centered pediatric speech therapy clinic. Lucid Speech & Language is located in the City of Murrieta, Temecula, and Riverside/​Corona. We have been serving Southwest Riverside County children for 18 years.

History

Established in 1997.

Lucid was started in 1997 by our founder, Megan McCann. She started Lucid with the sincere desire to help children find their voice. In the early years, Megan saw children for speech therapy out of her home. We opened our first office in early 2003. In 2007 we moved our Murrieta Office to its current location. In 2009, we opened our 2^nd office in the great Riverside/​Corona area and moved that office in 2010 to its current location. In 2012 we opened our newest office in Temecula. We accept most forms of medical insurance and are also contracted with a number of County and Federal contracts to provide therapeutic services.

Meet the Business Owner

Megan M.

Business Owner

Megan received her Bachelor of Arts and her Master of Arts Degrees in Communicative Disorders from California State University, Fullerton. She is a member of the American Speech and Hearing Association and is licensed through the State of California Speech Pathology and Audiology Boards. Additionally she is Hanen Certified and trained in the Kaufman Speech Praxis Program. She also has significant supervision experience with speech pathology interns, clinical fellows and speech pathology assistants.

When Megan first became a speech pathologist, she spent 5 years working with public school children through a headstart program, a severely handicapped school, and with special education and typical classroom elementary and Jr. High aged students. This experience assisted her in providing advocacy services for parents receiving speech and language intervention through the public school system. Megan started Lucid Speech & Language Clinic Inc.
