Went there today to get a hitch put on my mdx– they did it in under 1 hour– great service!!! Looks great!!! They had to take items out of the back of my car to lower the spare tire and did it with care and put everything back!!! I would recommend this place to anyone– awesome and personal service!!! We had Chris and his team install a 5^th wheel hitch, wiring and brake controller. Great work, great guys. Came in at the estimated price. Highly recommend this shop.

Chris is an honest guy who knows what he is doing! I am very impressed! I needed to install a fifth wheel hitch to my truck to tow my trailer. I had been to several places and gotten several different quotes from people and no one seemed to know what they were talking about. Different businesses were all telling us different information and changing their minds about the kinds of hitch we would need installed.
I found Mufflers West by fate when I looked up the road as I was waiting at the DMV. After 30 seconds of speaking with Chris, I could tell he knew EXACTLY what he was talking about (Fifth wheel hitches are much more complicated than a standard trailer hitch). Chris was not pushy on making a sale whatsoever and he was super patient explaining everything to me. Chris even installed some pretty cool technology that I had no idea even existed as no other hitch place even offered us it. Chris also was very accommodating to us as we came to him on very short notice to get it installed.
This past weekend we finally got to take our trailer out for the first time and the hitch worked perfectly. Everything went very smoothly while towing and I am confident towing with the hitch Chris chose for us and I’m extremely confident with his installation job. I would HIGHLY recommend Mufflers West. Very professional staff! They’re very honest, took my car to do some brake work and their honesty saved me money. My brakes were still good so I didn’t have to replace them afterall. I will definitely come back when they need to be changed. Definitely would recommend this place to friends and family.

I was contacted by the owner of this company after writing the previous review and submitting a complaint with the BBB. He responded by issuing an apology and issuing a full refund in the amount of the difference I was quoted and the amount I paid.

These guys are the best! I just got some work done on my Audi A8L exhaust here at Mufflers West and it turned out perfect. This was a really tough job due to the extremely limited space for the exhaust on my particular car, but they nailed it! Chris really knows his stuff and always does an excellent job. I also had him re-​do the exhaust on my 1967 Ford F250 and it sounds great. They are fair, fast, and friendly and I would recommend them to anyone. Thanks for the great work guys!

I took my 20 year old horse trailer to Mufflers West on recommendation of a friend. My trailer had been sitting in a field for 4 years, the wiring had been chewed by mice, the tires were weather damaged, there were missing marker lights, it was not safe to haul horses. Chris, at Mufflers West took great care of me! The service was quality and reasonable. These guys know their stuff! They walked me through some maintenance items to keep in mind and treated me with the utmost respect and kindness! I highly recommend them!

Bought a Jeep to tow behind my new RV. Called around to get supplemental braking and tow equipment installed. I was quoted around $ 2500 JUST FOR INSTALLATION! Another $ 2k for the parts. I finally stumbled upon Chris and Muffler’s West. He told me I could buy the parts on Ebay or Amazon and told me what I needed. Then he told me he’d install them when I received them for $ 800 for EVERYTHING. He is amazing. I dropped off the Jeep and the parts. He had it done in 2 days (he said it might be 3 b/​c they had other stuff in front of me, but he got it done sooner). When I brought the RV in to run the electrical line from the Invisabrake to the coach, he spent over 2 hours showing us how everything worked. He hooked up and unhooked the Jeep several times. Then he had my husband and I hook it up and unhook it a few times. He was so helpful and really made sure we knew what we were doing before we left there. It’s been over two months and many trips, and our tow is so easy to operate and has worked great! Thanks, Chris, and Muffler’s West. I’ll be a customer for life!

This place is great! Amazing service, great prices and nice people:) I would highly recommend coming to this muffler shop for any of your car service needs. My car now runs very smooth now and I have not had a problem ever since I went there!

Hands down the best Muffler Shop I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with. Let me start by saying I am very particular about Who & Where I take my truck to. I have a TRD Toyota Tacoma with after market work done. I recently found my self in need of a muffler install after my old performance Borla muffler came detached. I looked around on line and found this place, checked out there website and liked what I saw. So I decided to bring it to them for repair. The owner Paymen was not only very friendly & knowledgeable but also very fair with the price. After it was all said and done it was one of the best experience I have had at a shop. They not only did a amazing job in under two hours but the price was beyond reasonable. They have earned my business for life and I will deferentially be back again the next time I need any type of work done. Thanks Mufflers West Team

Wow what an outstanding shop and great fast service. I came in with my 2013 Subaru BRZ and wanted a new exhaust and they did it with ease. Truly amazing people work here and are always on top of their projects and modification. I couldn’t be happier with the service that was provided and now I’m ready to hit the road with my new and improved car!

best muffler shop in the i.e. hands down!!! all employees are honest and do there best to fix your problem. i would reccomend this place to anyone and everyone.

About 1 ½ years ago I brought my new lightweight travel trailer to these guys to install a custom bicycle hitch on the rear. They came up with a design that works around a problem with the trailer design. It’s held up great traveling on many rough roads.
Went back to these guys this week and found that the owner had retired and sold the business last year, but same employees were still there.
I recently sold my truck to switch to a medium SUV that was designed to pull small trailers, but needed a tow package. I asked them to install whatever was needed. I ended up with a nice custom fit hitch, wiring, and brake controller. Installation is very neat and professional looking. The price was very reasonable for the quality of the job.
These people know what they’re doing, have years of experience, and most importantly have a great attitude. They know how important it is to have great customer service, yet maintain their quality reputation. They will dicker on price, but not so that the quality of the job suffers.
They do specialize in RV repairs of axles, brakes, exhausts, hitches, and electrical. They don’t get into engine work at all. Nice to still have them here, when needed.

Having been here numerous times now, they’ve became really nice, and some of the staff has changed up. Chris is the best!

My 1994 Toyota Avalon wouldn’t pass its smog test this year. Sadly it needed a new Catalytic convertor but luckily I found Mufflers West. They’re right behind the DMV office in Temecula. They actually beat the estimates I got from competitors. After getting the new Cat installed by Mufflers West my Avalon passed smog with no problems! I’m giving five stars because of the price and they’re good service.

I have been a customer here for years and i highly recommend them to everyone, they are much more than a mufflers shop and can provide so many services. I trust them for my trailers and they were very honest, gave me a great price and did a really good job. They changed the catalytic convertor on my truck and its been great since. They did an amazing break job on my wifes car and they did a sweet custom exhaust on my corvette. Great prices, and theyre kind and courteous too, highly recommended to all !

I was helped by Rick and he was very nice and helpful. I had a bent tail pipe from backing into a curb and they fixed it perfectly. They were busy (which to me is a good sign) and Rick handled everyone well. He gave me a promise time and a courteous call came in and the vehicle was done an hour earlier than promised. In addition, I have exhaust tips that they polished. I recommend this shop. They do good work

I went here to get my husband a performance exhaust. Staff explained several options to me and I felt informed and happy with my decision. I felt comfortable in this shop unlike I have felt in mechanic shops I had to go to in the past. I felt the staff was honest and respected the decisions I wanted to make. I wasn’t pushed to buy something I didn’t want and when I asked questions, which I had a million because I don’t know much about what I was trying to buy for my husband, I felt comfortable asking and all my questions were answered without that negative judgement feeling I sometimes get at other mechanic shops! My husband was happy with the final product which added to my positive experience.
