Hm, it’s Saturday at noon and there’s no Chinese food out, so I was hesitant to order, but I guess that means cook to order food that hasn’t been laying out! Can’t critique how they store the food, but the chicken tastes okay so that must mean it wasn’t stored improperly. A rating here(can’t remember if the govt has done away with the + and -). Phew, opened the styrofoam container and food is still burn your tongue hot after 20 minutes, sweet. My plate only had fried rice and chicken, no chow mein because cook said it’d take too long to make. I tried smiling extra wide to make up for him as previous reviews have said he’s a bit reserved, but I don’t think it took. I think the fried rice has a bit more of a salty soy sauce flavor than ‘m used to. I don’t begrudge only pay with cash, but I think since the one item price is $ 4.60 and people generally hand over a $ 5 bill, rhe cashier gives a 8.7% tip to themself, so didn’t get my change. Not much variety of donuts.

Best kept secret in Temecula for fast Chinese food and their doughnuts are good as well. This is my go to lunch spot when I am that’s side of town. They have been serving Chinese food for years. I remember back in 2001 I used to go there for my lunch break almost everyday. The food here is better than Dragon Express by Target

What is this magic combination? I mean, donuts and Chinese food is the best idea ever. I just thought it was only alive in my own head rumbling around with other foodie fantasies(Others may or may not include: Hungry Bear After Dark Breakfast: Delivered to my house in Del Mar, Puesto: Anywhere in North SD, Italian Food and Pie, Good Thai Food in North SD, Red Oven Pizza downstairs from my condo, etc) We rolled up before a wine tour actually just looking for a corner store to buy waters and saw the sign, did a double take, and screeched to a halt to check it out. It’s exactly what it sounds like! A case of sugar overload with a Chinese Food Menu hanging above. It’s was 10AM — it could have gone either way, or both ways, but I went donuts and bookmarked this for future Temecula take out adventures. The donuts were pretty good(Not great, the donut game is a hard knock life in SD with places like VGs and Nomad on the scene) One note on Pam’s is that they take debit cards! So nice! The owners were totally sweet and helpful and welcoming. Of course they encouraged us to order more but this time all I could do was stare in awe as I ate the donuts holes I had bought. It’s not fancy, kind of a hole in the wall — but the possibility of orange chicken AND a glazed donut live here so who cares? When I saw Chinese Food, I mean American Chinese food BTW — although some reviews report that they creating things off menu on occasion too. I’ll updated upon my next visit, but wanted to spread the word of wizardry that is dessert pastries and Asian Noodles under the same roof. Temecula, you always have a surprise for me.

Fresh made salmon. It is so so good. It’s a small place. And I know the combo of donuts and Chinese is weird. But I love the salmon here. Donuts are good too.

I have never been so disrespected in a business before, the lady(Im assuming Pam) Refused me service, because I wanted to pay with an Debit card, yes it was only $ 2.90, I had forgotten my cash this morning, but apparently she has forgotten that I WAS buying a dozen donuts from her on a weekly basis for my employees at work. She could have charged me an extra 50 cents for using my card, and I would have been totally cool with that, instead she refused me service. She then proceeded to very rudely ask me to put back the chocolate milk I had gotten from the fridge, I ignored her and left, on my way out she screamed something at me, and started making rude gestures to get out. I sat in my truck, and she was still staring at me waiving her hands around. I was and still blown away from the whole situation. Their donuts were always so so, and Chinese food sucked, it was just very convenient on my way to work, now I will have to just go a couple minutes out of the way to KINGs Donuts off of Winchester and the 15 freeway. The donuts are very oily and the quality is inconsistent. The Chinese food was decent but not to make you come back again.

Good chinese at a great price. The owner’s sister is usually there and is so sweet and nice. You can choose from what is out or she will cook it up fresh. I have only tried a couple of the donuts, the plain old fashioned and the Apple fritters and enjoyed both, although I do wish the fritter had more apples.

This place sucks… the donuts are icky and the Chinese food even sucks. They are rude, they look at you when walk in with a stare like they want to know why you are there interrupting them and their business that can only thrive with, well you know… customers. They do not say hi, thank you, and they don’t seem to take pride in their food either. The old-fashioned glazed donut was so dry and crumbly it was sad, I mean the donut was personally sad so I still ate it to put it out of it’s own misery. I also asked for a specific«cream stuffed» donut that I pointed to. She then goes to the other side of the donut counter and grabs one that looks like it, but it wasn’t what I pointed to… this would make a child cry… on top of child crying it was stale, hard and had very little cream. I also got a ham a cheese croissant, it was not even good, lacking ham and cheese and part of it was missing, like a whole end of it… she didn’t care. She threw it in the bag without asking if I wanted it heated up, I asked if she would please heat it up, she flashed me the look of death while her kids in there continued to sweep up the floors with what I’m sure is the broom she rode to rode work on. This lady nuked that bitch of a croissant so flippin’ bad that when I got it out it was a rock hard nuclear chunk that came in meteor style from planet Mars, I’m pretty sure of this. I had the Chinese food once before this amazing donut experience and it was not tasty, old and rice was dry, super dry :(sorry Pam… I don’t think I can force myself a third trip :(

The best donuts, hands down! The selection is nothing out of the ordinary, but the taste and quality are excellent. As good as any other place with national notoriety(like Randy’s Donuts in L.A., or VooDoo Donuts in Portland). Also, they are super nice and friendly behind the counter.

I am very surprised by all the good reviews for this place and especially about how friendly the woman owner is. I have tried the donuts and they taste like old oil that was used to cook the Chinese food with, the Chinese food was okay. but every time I went in there the lady looked at me like I was going to steal from her. and never greeted me or said thank you. So I no longer go and do not recommend. I will put up with unfriendly owners if the food is good.

Everything about this places donuts are terrible! They are just cheap, processed hockey pucks… Oh, how I miss Golden Donut in North Park with their fresh, tasty donuts.

I’m not a big fan of sweets but I absolutely love Chinese food — for the price it’s definitely worth trying out.

Yea… used to love this place but had to stop going as I started getting fat. Best tasting donuts in town but has a smaller generic selection to choose from. Bear Claws are the best but… no selection of a low sugary type donut.

This is a good place to stop for a quick breakfast fix. The concept of a doughnut shop and Chinese food restaraunt might seem a little odd, but it’s a really great place for sure! I love going there.

The selections weren’t anything special – no crullers, no bear claws, no Boston crèmes. I would call the donuts just average. The best was the coconut cake donut, which had a better, fresher taste to it than the raised donuts, which hit me as somewhat stale and bland. Old-fashioned was just so-so. The staff, however, was very nice. I hoped to grab an egg roll on my way out to take home for later, but the folks at Pam’s said that since business was usually slow on Saturdays, they didn’t serve any Chinese food that day. Oh, well.

Chinese Food — 3 stars Donut — 5 stars Came here for a late lunch… probably arrived slightly after 1pm. As I expected, the steam table wasn’t overflowing with choices. I ordered a two item, half rice, half noodles with Mushroom chicken and orange chicken. The rice was good, the noodles were okay. The orange chicken tasted like your standard orange chicken but the batter was soggy. The mushroom chicken had an odd gray cast to it… it tasted fine though and I didn’t get sick eating it. For $ 5.99 you get the food and a medium drink. Skipping the drink, like I did, does not lower the price. Overall, I thought the food was okay. Nothing different from other Chinese food steam table type places. While I was here, I decided to get a donut for a late afternoon snack. I wasn’t expecting a whole lot since it was after 1pm. But that donut tasted as fresh as if it was just made. It was soft and buttery… not dried up. If that donut tasted that good after hours of sitting in the display case, I can only imagine what it would be like freshly made. I will definitely be back for the donuts. I think I will relegate the Chinese food to those times when I’m in a hurry and don’t want to stray too far from work.

Yummy, will be back for sure. There are a couple of these donut/chinese food places where I grew up in south San Diego, so no suprise to see the combination here. As mentioned by another Unilocaler, CASHONLY, but it’s obvious why businesses like to keep them cash only. :P

Donuts AND Chinese food? Yeah I know what you’re thinking… «What kind of evil genius concocted this sort of freakish concept?» Well Pam of course! Duh… The donuts are pretty damn good, I can’t even lie. I tried so hard not to like them, especially with all the 5-star reviews. I’m skeptical, sue me, I’m from freakin’ North Jersey. They have a secret menu when it comes to the Chinese portion of their dining experience. But you’ll have to do your own detective work on that one. I’ll give you a little snippet though… …salt & pepper pork chops… Oh WHATTTTTTT??? Only Yum-Yum is better. Only Yum-Yum is better. Barely…

I am trying so hard to kick my donut habit but when Pam’s Donuts is right on the way to work, it’s a losing battle. Pitiful, yet when I’m low on money all I needs is some quarters($ 1.50 for 2 maple bars) and I’m good to go. Speaking of maple bars… hot damn! I’ll admit to being a bit quirky when I eat my treats such as candy bars and Hostess Cupcakes, and I’m the same with donuts. With maple bars I turn them over, eat the bottom cake goodness, then flip it over again and enjoy the maple topping. The maple bars at Pam’s give me such joy it’s sickening and the maple topping sends a jolt of sugary sweetness to my brain and taste buds it’s better than any shot of caffeine. Even the day-old cake donuts make my mouth happy! I haven’t considered any donuts quite as delish since my childhood haunt in Aurora Mall of Shoreline, WA. And the sprinkles… omg, the sprinkle donuts make me want to dance and kick my heals. They also sell Chinese food here during lunch time and it rocks my stripey socks off. Ok, I haven’t tried too many dishes but I do know the spicy orange chicken is pure awesomeness. The rice… let’s just say I never finish rice when I eat Chinese food. Here, i do. I eat it ALL. Yeah, not too shabby.
