My first set of acrylics ever… I decided 27 years was a lot enough time to wait, and I’m SO happy with them. I’m not a huge nail person, and was glad to stumble upon this salon. My nail tech was quiet, clean, and very detail-​oriented. Very pleased with my experience here and I recommend this place.

I had excellent service from beginning to end. My nails came out really nice. The pedicure with the hot stones and hot towels definitely recommended. Tim did an excellent job and I would recommend this location to anyone. The only down side is the limited selection of nail polish colors. I will be definitely retuning.

Been going to Tami for almost a year. My nails have never looked better. The Salon is always clean. I would recommend Tami and Tim to all my friends and family.

I’ve been here around 6 – 7 times in the past 5 months. Tim and Tammy are consistent, and willing to work with you even if they’ve never done the design you give them off Pinterest.
The couple is so sweet, and love holding conversations. They are pretty quick, and you will not beat their price for the quality! The salon itself is very clean.
($ 25 acrylic nails plus $ 10 gel color/​$ 15 fills plus $ 10 gel color)
They are relatively new so their selection of colors isn’t the flashiest, but growing!
Tammy is really great with the crescent moon design for those who might be skeptical about clean lines!

I absolutely love this place! Both Tim and Tammi do a phenomenal job in giving the upmost attention to detail with great customer service! Everything from the relaxing massage chairs, to the beautiful décor, to the friendly conversations, creates an open and comfortable environment to either end or begin your day. This in itself is very hard to find at most nail salons, and with having the best nail art in town they’re pretty hard to beat! I always have a great experience every time I walk through the door. I’ve been coming to Golden nails since they first opened, and have referred all of my friends and family to see both Tami and Tim. They do a great job, and to prove so I’ve added a picture of the best nail art for the summer!

I have been coming here since they opened this salon. The owner used to do nails at another salon before he opened this one. Was so impressed with his work and friendliness that when he told me he was opening this place, I knew I’d follow. I drive from south Chandler to come to this salon (only place I let do my nails). So onto the review…
Service — impeccable! Each and every time I come in for a mani or pedi, I’ve never left unhappy or with a complaint. They’ve always listened to my requests and accommodated them. When my daughter comes to visit, this salon is one of the first places she wants to visit.
Clean — this is by far one of the nicest salons I’ve been to. It’s not fancy but it has everything you need.
Feeling — personable. I’ve always felt welcome and like a friend. It’s a fun and friendly atmosphere.
Expectations — above and beyond! Again, I’ve never left here without a smile on my face. Great selection of services offered. Excellent designs. Everything is done to perfection.

Tammy is THE BEST! I’ve been going to different places. Well I went to her about 2 months ago and find myself back! She is awesome!

My appointment was at 9:30am Saturday morning. To my surprise the place was empty, I was the only customer. It was like that for my first 40 minutes. I was happy it wasn’t crowded because they got me seated straight away.
I got the Summer package which included the Gel mani $ 20 (normally $ 25) and the Pedi that included Paraffin wax, sugar scrub, hot rocks, callus removal, $ 35 (normally $ 40).
I didn’t catch the guys name but the gals was Tammi. They both made me feel comfortable and relaxed. I felt like I was talking with a friend. That’s rare to find. The guy did a great job on the pedicure and even though he doesn’t do designs, he was able to do the polka dots I wanted. Tammi teased him about it. LOL
One caveat, to the pedi package I got; instead of doing the paraffin wax separate, he put a swipe of it on my legs and then topped it with the sugar scrub. I’m pretty sure this would have worked nicer if they were done separate.
Next up my Gel mani. This is where they lost stars. The guys is not all that good at manicures. I asked him not to clip my nails but use the file to shape. Well, he got carried away with the nail filer and my nails are shorter than I wanted. They are not nicely rounded on the corners either.
The worst part came, at no fault of his, just bad gel polish I think, when he was putting on the clear gel coat, it bubbled. He asked if I used soap to wash my hands, of which I had not. He used the electric drill to remove it and then buffed out the nails then had me wash my hands again and specified, no soap.
We started over again and the bubbles appeared again. I asked if maybe it’s the detergent in the towels that used to dry my hands with. They didn’t think so. The gal thought it may be bc I touched my hair and the oils from my hair was causing it. (I really didn’t think so). Regardless, I do not swipe away my hair that gets into my face.
So he proceeded to use the electric drill again and buff out my nails and I washed my hands again. At this point my nails are sore. I’m about to say forget the damn gel. (really after the second time they should have grabbed a different bottle of gel polish)
So the gal comes over to do it, thinking it’s something that he is doing. Nope. It starts bubbling right away. So what she had to do, was do one or two fingers at a time and put them under the light real quick. That seemed to help.
I think that this mani did not have to go so bad if they would have just grabbed a new bottle of gel. My nails went through a lot of abuse because they continued to do the same thing over and over.
To rectify it, they could have offered a discount. Instead, all I got was the offer that Tammi would do my nails next time.
I think that these are two of the nicest nail techs I’ve ever met and I would love to come back if the service was better. I would only go to guy for the pedicure and Tammi for the mani.
RANT BEGINS ABOUT NAIL SALONS IN GENERAL:
I’ve been to quit a few nail salons looking for one that offers the top quality service and quality work that I am paying for .
What I’ve noticed, is that instead of the customers demanding quality service, they are in the mind frame, that all of this is normal and not to demand better.
WE ARE PAYING FOR THIS SERVICE.
We deserve, to be worked on right away if we booked a time slot.
We deserve to be treated with respect and not have nail techs talk about us bc they think we won’t notice when their doing it in foreign tongue.
We deserve to have quality products used on us rather than old, gunky crap.
We deserve to have professional nail techs who give quality work.
We deserve to have longer hot rock massages if I’m paying extra for it. One minute per leg doesn’t cut it.
We deserve a lot more than we are receiving. None of this crap that goes on in nail salons should be accepted.
It is time for customers to stand up for our rights. Nail salons are a dime a dozen.
It’s the ones that give top service that stand out and are winners in my book.

Amazing service and nails. This is the second time I have been here, they did a perfect job again. They get it done fast yet with precision. Everyone is so friendly there too. Best nail salon I have ever been too. I’m glad I found it.

Tami is fabulous! I went about a month back before I left on vacation and had a pedi. I’ve have thousands in my life and this was by far in the top! I am calling as we speak for my appointment tomorrow

Tim is the owner. Tim is awesome he’s so caring so gentle and so helpful I’m so happy for him that his shop is working out he has been so busy lately so it’s a good thing money’s coming in the door and happy people are leaving

Found this place via Unilocal while being in the area. I had some Time to kill before catching my flight back home. I also needed my nails done really bad.
The place is very clean and welcoming. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted. It wasn’t busy since it’s early and a weekday.
The tech was very efficient and gentle. I’m always nervous when they file and take the side skins off. Usually it hurts but not here. Also it took about 35 mins. It was ended with a nice hand massage.
Highly recommend coming here if you’re in the area. I will return for sure when I’m back in town. Thanks Unilocal reviewers for the guidance!

This place was great. Good prices! And they are soo friendly. It was my first time in.
I would recommend being very clear on what you want though, design wise.
I will be back in 2 weeks for my fill!

I like getting pampered on a monthly basis, so one of the first things I wanted to do after moving to Arizona was to find a salon to take care of my gross feet haha.
Golden nail and spa is a relatively new business, and the people that run it are very friendly! I got a mani/​pedi with callous removal, and it only cost me $ 40. In addition the shop is very clean, and they’ll bring you a nice cold bottle of water while they’re taking care of you!
Golden will definitely be my go to moving forward!
Mani/​pedis are very manly, don’t let anyone tell you otherwise! :)

Went Saturday at 1130am. I got TyTy and she was super sweet. This place is only 3 months old but she and her husband are very experienced. I got a gel manicure only $ 22 and that was after removing the acrylics i had on. She made sure it was perfect! This is the only place i have been satisfied with so far. I am definitely coming back.

I really enjoy coming here to get my nails done. They do a wonderful job on both pedis and nails. It is nice and clean inside. They are very friendly and welcoming. It is worth it to stop in and try it out.
