Meet the Business Owner

Alex Manuel M.

Business Owner

Alex grew up in hospitality when his father managed hotels like The Ritz Carlton, Marriot and Hilton in the 1970’s and 1980’s. Later in life he studied Hospitality Management and Culinary Arts in one of the top schools in Mexico. In the early 1990’s he landed a job as a catering service manager for Aeromexico based out of Mexico City and New York City, leaving the company years later to join one of the top resort companies in Italy with base in Crete, Greece. Towards the end of the 1990’s he left hotel management to start a career in restaurant managemnt, working his way up from server to bartender to captain all the way to management working for landmark restaurants in New York. Managing restaurants such as Le Cirque, Jean Georges, Union Square Café would armed Alex with the skills, experience and knowledge required to succeed in this extremely challenging but also rewarding industry. Alex holds a BS in Business and Economics and and MBA in International Business Management
