Alison specializes in natural light and on-​location photography. She takes on a limited number of clients every month in order to assure that each session is given the care needed to produce high quality results.

Many sessions are scheduled at outdoor locations, or indoors when ample window lighting is available. A studio can be provided for an additional fee.

Specialties include maternity, newborn and infant, children and families, teens, and model portfolio sessions including headshots

Business Owner

Alison Heckard began taking photographs at a young age, starting with 110 mm film and moving on to other film types as well as digital format cameras. Her knowledge of film enables her to have a better understanding of photography, and that knowledge carries over into her digital images.

In addition to her years of amateur photography, she has taken various photography courses as well as having worked in a commercial studio. Because a studio setting cannot compare to the beauty of real life and natural lighting, she has decided to set out on her own, capturing the moments as they truly happen.
