First time trying this place out and will definitely be back. My husband and I sat at the bar and had the great service from Ms. Sherry the bartender! The duck strips snd gravy fries were delicious! Philly cheese steak was the entrée of choice and it did not disappoint. The white and red sangria is definitely worth a try. Also the white chocolate liquor was AMAZING!!! The environment was quaint and service was great! Highly recommend this hidden gem.

Wow. If the is a better«joint» in Thibodaux I need to know where. Insane homemade onion rings. Home made sangria, white or red, strong and fresh from the quart Mason jars. Must haves are the pork belly on anything and the build your own burgers are amazing. The cool bartender makes the desserts too, pies from marinated sangria fruit. We are leaving with big smiles on our faces. A definite place I will visit every time I’m in town.

We are fortunate to have a place like this in Thibodaux! Because I am GF my choices at most restaurants are limited. What sets this place apart is the owner carefully went over all of the choices with me, and specifically knew all of the ingredients used in each dish. Now that my friends is pretty impressive! After a minor revision, I had a grilled shrimp salad which I enjoyed. I will be returning. PS. It is clean place!

Awesome food in a casual environment! Best burgers in town, and the most delicious fries. Everything we have ordered here has been quite tasty! Perfect spot for a quick dinner with the family or for a burger and beer with friends.

Stepped into this little joint to grab some lunch with hubby. The space is divided in two sections, one is the main dining and bar area(complete with a shuffle board table– FTW!!!), then you have the kitchen/diner space, where we ate. Small, but complete menu. Burgers are build-your-own, which I appreciated, and ordered. It looked pretty amazing, the toppings were fresh and crisp. The lettuce used is a tender greens mix, not iceburg… I like it. Unfortunately, however, my burger was cooked medium-well to well. This is usually pretty standard; however, when ordering, I was specifically asked how I wanted my burger, to which I responded«medium». So I’m not sure why they even bothered asking me in the first place. It was definitely a handmade burger, juicy and fall-apart-in-your-mouth-tender. The seasoning was great, although my burger was WAY over seasoned in some bites. The fries… Oh Em Gee… the fries. I love the batter on these little guys and they are crisped to perfection. You don’t need to, but you can order them with your choice of cheese. Yummmmmmmmm!!! We split an order of pecan pie. I was delighted when the pie came out as a little tart sized pie, creating the perfect shell-to-filling ratio that cannot be accomplished with a slice of a big pie. The service was good. Our server was friendly and timely enough and our drinks never ran dry. I cannot wait to come back to try the catfish and maybe take advantage of their $ 15 bottomless glass of wine happy hour!

Stopped in on 9÷13÷14 after a Paint Your Pal class at Purple Penguin Art Company… class didn’t get done til 10PM and pretty much all dining options closed at 10PM… However Stephanie D. owner of PPAC pointed me and my sister to the Venetian with a nice recommendation… Didn’t pay too much attention to hours of operation since the cook said food was served til midnight when we walked in… Venetian is a 2 part operation with a bar in the front and a diner in the back… a nice thing is each has its own dedicated entry so you ain’t gotta walk thru the bar to get to the diner… and diner is used in the truest sense… long and narrow with only 2 booth/tables and a long eat at counter with 10 or so stools… open grill so you can watch the food magic happen… Now to the food… not a big menu but if everything is prepared the way me and my sister’s meals were then you can’t go wrong with anything you order… The sister went with a Shrimp poboy and that mutha was huge and stuffed full of fried shrimp… I went with the Roast Beef poboy and it was huge as well… They use a sliced Roast Beef as opposed to debris style, I could care less if it’s good and folks this mutha was Damn Good! Dressed to perfection, dripping with gravy… I was licking the plate… the onion rings we ordered as a side were just right as far as ring size and crispness… If you’re in old town Thibodaux and feeling a hunger give this place a try you just might find me there chowing on a roast beef poboy…
