I took my laptop to John to fix the fan as it kept overheating and shutting down. I needed it back that same day. John did a great job and I had it back in 3 hours. Also I felt the price was very reasonable.

This is a great business as he is knowledgeable and helpful. Prices are fair and reasonable compared to other shops out there. I have nothing but praise for this business and will continue to use him. Thank you for a job well done :-)

Dr PC is the place to go for any and all computer problems. He is thorough and most reliable. He is very patient in explaining what the cause of problems are and will seek and recommend the best solutions. The pricing of his services is better than competitors and if there are changes or updates that will make your computer run better John will make you aware of them and install them according to what your decision is. I have used Dr PC for some time and I do recommend Dr PC!

Had the technician from Dr PC at our home office today. We wanted to transfer our outlook email from our old PC to our new mac, aside from a few other, not so important issues. The technician was on time and had our email working on the mac pretty quickly. He also took care of the smaller issues that had been bother us for a while (chrome getting constant pop ups, weak wi fi signal up stairs bedrooms, etc)
In short, the tech was very friendly, on time, and seemed to be pretty knowledgeable. I would comfortably recommend Dr PC to anyone that needs computer services.

After dealing with many computer «experts», I came across John at Dr. PC. Not only did he fix my issue within the same day, but he was able to actually SAVE me money by resurrecting my existing hard drive. It would have been easy for them to GOUGE me for a hefty bill, as I was desperate to retrieve my data, but it seems like Honesty and Integrity are not gone and Dr. PC has them in abundance. I will definitely be using Dr. PC for all my computer needs.

Avoid this man John and his business. The recent one star ratings he has on Unilocal account are there for a reason and should not be ignored. This man did not fix our computer issue, and yet had the audacity to expect and accept payment. This man told my husband that he could fix my broken PC that would not turn on. He said he would replace the power supply which would resolve the issue. He then delivered the PC back to our home without the power cord that it came with, and once we tested it, the computer still wouldn’t turn on! He returned it to us without our cord and without it being fixed, who on earth does that?! Being the trusting man that my husband is, he paid John without testing the computer to make sure it turned on. Yes, that was his mistake, he should have never paid him without making sure that it worked. Hubby got an earful from me about that. But who in their right mind returns something claiming that it’s been fixed and then accepts payment, when reality is it was never fixed to begin with? Only a dishonest person running a dishonest business. 5 minutes after the delivery, when we realized the the computer still wouldn’t turn on, we called John to let him know and kindly asked him to please return to our home to take the computer back and actually fix it this time. Instead of apologizing profusely for giving us a non-​working computer and taking our money without actually having provided the service that was promised, he had the audacity to be completely rude and say «no way I can come back, I’m way too busy, I have a shop I need to run.» Who does that? When you have a client that just paid you for a service that you didn’t even provide, you have to show them how sorry you are and say «I’m so sorry, I can’t believe I did that, let me come back and take the computer and actually fix it this time as I was supposed to do.» No, instead he was rude as hell and demanded that my husband drive back to him again to bring the computer back to be fixed! At that point I totally lost my temper because that is just ridiculous. My husband already took the time out of his day to bring it there once, he shouldn’t have to bring it back there a second time especially when the guy was only 5 minutes away from our home. He should have just turned around and come back to get it and actually fix it as he had promised. I was fuming, he saw how angry I was and he had no care in the world for how upset he had made his client. My husband then had to drive back to his shop with the computer and in the end the guy couldn’t even fix it. My husband asked for our check back, and again, instead of apologizing and just giving it back, he actually had the audacity to remove the power supply he had installed, and then he gave the check back. Yes, I am grateful that he returned the check, but he sure as hell pissed us off and wasted our time, and his rudeness was on a whole different level. To the point that I lost my sh** in a way I never have to anyone I have ever worked with. I am literally shocked by how horribly we were treated, and hope my review will shed some light on this «business» so that others can avoid the experience we just had.

Wanted to charge $ 180 just to replace cracked face on galaxy phone. Really expensive.
Would of liked to of given our local store some business. Unfortunately this was also my test to see if they could work on my computer. Oh well must move on to the next expert. Hope their business is fair in this market.

Unprofessional, lazy, bad work. He never answers his phone, he is always mysteriously missing from his office, and he did not deliver the service he promised. I feel scammed and sad that I spent even one dollar here.

I did find him expensive, and he did reinstall a version of Windows that I don’t like; but I believe he is the only guy in Ventura county that I trust

Called Dr. PC to remove a virus. Came same day and took care of the problem. I would definitely recommend.

I had built a media center PC myself by buying components from Fry’s. It worked great until I installed a second hard drive. As it turns out, I shorted out the motherboard in the process. I decided to try Dr. PC in part because the business is established and it has a storefront. I was nervous about giving my PC and my user ID and password to a mobile service. My life is on that PC. John at Dr. PC diagnosed the problem, and saved me money by finding the exact same motherboard online. His price was more than fair.
