I love Golden Spoon Yogurt ice cream. We were really sorry they closed this store on Los Arboles in Thousand Oaks. That was our favorite dessert place! They were generous with their servings and the flavors had a good variety. Miss you Golden Spoon! Come back to Oakbrook plaza in Thousand Oaks.

I have been there many times since it is close to my house and had no complaints. First of all, we ordered a large cup and the total was $ 3.65, okay my mom comes to pay and the young girl working there charges us $ 3.95. It turns out they charge 30 cents just to sit at the place. When I approached the same girl, just to ask for a cup of water, she told me that they charge $ 1.25 for a bottle of water, all I asked for was a glass of water. First and last time I am coming to this joke of a yogurt place.

This is more of a soft serve place than a yogurt place — I noticed they stop serving their tart flavour, which may or may not have something to do with the fact that the Tomato Patch next door does it better and cheaper(something like $ 1.50 for a small!) It’s popular with kids, and there usually are people in here. Overly sweet yogurt, and sometimes their machines don’t quite work right so it comes out a runny slop. I always found their toppings a little gross — they’re messy and mixing all over the place on the counter. Also, I know we’re supposed to only comment on the consumer experience on Unilocal, but I do want to bring up that a lot of my friends, at some point or another in high school, worked at Golden Spoon for a stint and complained about the unfair way they were being treated — being left to run the store alone(these are high school students) and not being allowed to take breaks, etc.

I wouldn’t go out of my way to come to Golden Spoon but we were in the area so we tried it. It was good, not great. I liked the more environmentally-friendly products they used but the esthetic appeal was lacking. Yogurt tasted fine so I’d come again if I was driving by.

Hit or miss.(mostly miss). I go there once in a while for convenience The choocolate tastes funny most of the time nd they’re out of it a lot. If there is any kind of a line, service is very slow. I go to Costco and get 6 yogurts for less than the price of 2 at Golden Spoon. I freeze the yogurts and microwave on the soften setting for 20 seconds. Works perfectly. I buy my topping(almonds) in bulk online and I’m set to go. No more Golden Spoon for me. Bad taste and high prices.

It’s kind of disappointing in all areas. It’s not the self-service, by-the-ounce kind of place, so it ends up being more expensive than a typical frozen yogurt place. A smaller size is $ 3.50 or so, and it’s pay-per-topping, too. Only 10 flavors. Quality not the greatest, in my view – chocolate in particular tastes exceptionally fake(but some flavors can be good, usually the seasonal ones). Toppings not remarkably fresh. Almost no outdoor seating except a couple of benches. Usually, I’ve noticed the service is slow if there’s any kind of a line at all. And why do I keep coming back? Well, it’s close, and it’s not *that* bad, just definitely not my first choice if I had my pick of all the local frozen yogurt places.

This place sucks. Highly doubt it’s yogurt because it tastes like pure sugar. It’s more like soft serve ice cream. To validate my point the fruit toppings are artificial not fresh. Dissatisfied 100%
