In Touch Massage & Day Spa

All the ladies are great! Excellent customer service! Great place to visit after a long days of exercise.

I had a great experience here! Syeda did my 60 minute facial and she was very informative and so sweet! I would highly recommend her and definitely plan on going back!

I have previously gone to this spa and received good services from the masseuses there. However, I feel I must place this review as a warning to other customers in case they run into the same situation I did at this particular spa.
My friend, who is deaf, and I booked a massage here. With only one therapist, we had consecutive massages, my friend going first. When it was my turn I could hear clearly that the therapist was very sick with a nasty, rattly, barking cough. I don’t get sick easily so I just went with it and prayed my friend wouldn’t get sick. Well, she did. With the same kind of barking, rattling bronchial cough type of flu. When I called management to complain, because the management had left by the time our massages were over, I received no response. I called repeatedly. Still no response. A week later the manager called me. I explained the situation and he promised to look into it. A week passed with no contact with the manager so I called him again. He was argumentative and yelled at me and made excuses and told me that the masseuse had NOT been sick and that out of kindness he would let my friend have a free massage next time she was in town. (my friend lives over two hours away from this location) While that is some sort of solution, in my mind it was very bad customer service and I will NOT be returning to this location until there is management who treats customers with respect and doesn’t argue with a customer when they call to voice a complaint.
You readers can look at my profile and read my reviews. I have posted very few negative reviews. Most of them have been for aggregeous health code reasons, like filthy bathrooms in restaurants, and /​or for businesses who treat the customer with outrageous disrespect. I feel this business failed on both accounts. Thus the warning review
I am making an addition to this review. I called living social regarding this matter and living social told me that this voucher had been refunded. However no one from In Touch Massage communicated this to me in any way. While this was an appropriate gesture from In Touch, I still am not pleased that this was not communicated to me in any way by them when I called them to handle this personally. I believe in resolving a matter with the parties involved first before going over their heads. And I do not appreciate being yelled at by the manager when I call to try to resolve this issue. I’m not sure if the persons involved had a death in their family or some other stressful event, but failing to contact me, failing to communicate their actions to resolve this matter and poor behavior do not sit well with me. But I have upgraded their score on Unilocal from a one to a three. Hope this review is useful for any who wish to patronize this spa.
It does have a steam room and dry sauna that work most of the time. There are private showers. There is also a very nice pool which is what I like best about this place since I was in two very serious car accidents and massage and swimming are two things that seem to keep the scar tissue and facia from building up in the injured area and keep me mobile and still able to work.
But I will have to think long and hard as to whether I wish to return in case I’m treated in this unprofessional and hurtful way again. Personally I have other places I can go and I don’t need this kind of stress.

This spa is inside the gym and not well signed. But just ask for directions, it’s off to the right of the main entrance. The staff is nice. However the massage rooms are all over the building and not very isolated or relaxing. My massage as good and reasonable in price.

I highly recommend In Touch Massage & Day Spa. Lisa Renee has given me massages several times. She has ‘magic’ hands! I feel like a new person afterwards. On more than one occasion she has relieved my aches and pains.

I have to say I was thoroughly disappointed with my experience with In touch today. One star is extremely generous.
I booked my appointments for our group about a month ago after much research and positive reviews for my friends bachelorette spa day. We were all so excited to come and relax, sip champagne, and get pampered. That was hardly our experience.
In touch is not at all a day spa, it’s more like several rooms spectrum has converted into areas to do massages and facials, spread out throughout the facility. There is no place to sit and relax. It was uncomfortable and had I known I would never have wasted money there or my friend’s special day!
The room I had my facial was directly off the pool. I mean directly. You open the door and you are in the pool. The entire time I was receiving my facial a woman was yelling outside, teaching a class or something. Not at all relaxing. My esthetician said that sometimes a woman is singing songs like Take Me Out to the Ball Game. Well jeez, so sorry I missed that!!! My friend’s massage was in a converted office across the facility that she had to walk in her robe through the gym and through a construction site to get to. She was pretty embarrassed.
The bride of all people had her appointment messed up, which wasn’t exactly the spa’s fault, but instead of comping us now, they are having her come back another time and had her get another treatment. What if she never goes back? Are they going to reimburse us?
We were promised all sort of things… For example, I received a peel and the esthetician said she would give me lotion and samples to take and try and I received none of those. I was the first one finished, so I was waiting and my face was drying out. I asked the manager if the esthetician had left a lotion sample, she said no. She preceded to take some lotion from her purse for me to use. That’s very nice, but a little strange. I felt uncomfortable using this strangers lotion from her purse.
The only place to sit and wait was the locker room. I haven’t seen so many naked women in all my life! I’m no prude, but the last thing I want to do is catch a glimpse of a woman spread eagle in the dry sauna when I’m supposed to be relaxing at the spa with my friends!
We were supposed to receive complimentary champagne with out package. It was only given to us when we asked and it was in cheap plastic cups, Andres no less. Not trying to be snoody, but it seems to me that if you are selling a bridal package it should be a little fancier, as this was a special day! I can drive to ⁷⁄₁₁ anytime and get Andres and for a lot less than I paid today!
I would suggest that Spectrum rethink this whole «day spa» approach. Spectrum does not have a day spa, Spectrum has some converted rooms, and in bad locations throughout the facility. I would also stop marketing packages for parties, because it was not enjoyable other than my friends and I know how to have a good time together… When we saw each other that is… I am disappointed that we even had to pay for that today. What a cluster!
The girls working were very nice and that’s why I gave it a star. Unfortunately, too many other factors outweighed the nice employees. If I were to rate my overall experience of the day… Well is there a way to give negative stars?

Let me just preface this by saying, I have been going to Medi-​Spas to treat my melasma –and now wrinkles — for the past 10 years. I have had lasers and chemical peels for the discoloration on my face (thank you, pregnancy) and botox and juvederm for my fine lines and «clown lines». Then I discovered Laura and her «1 –2 punch» at In Touch Spa in Thousand Oaks. I have seen her only twice now (I have the microdermabrasion and the pumpkin peel facial for 90 minutes), but I have had better results in only 2 visits with Laura than all my years at the Medi Spas! My dark spots lightened noticeably after my first visit and after the 2^nd visit one patch of spots was a l but a faded memory. I would recommend In Touch and Laura to all of my friends!

First off, I don’t know what the heck that C.J.J. person is talking about because I scheduled my appointment the day I called and someone answered the phone at the third ring.
Anyway, my boyfriend and I were 15 minutes late to our appointment but like a good client I’d called ahead to warm them of my tardiness. They were completely understanding and didn’t make us fill anything out, they just wanted to get started on us ASAP so we could get our money’s worth. My boyfriend asked that they focus on his upper back because he had tons of knots, and I asked for the full body massage. The ladies were great. We both are athletes so we needed a firmer touch than most people would like but they were very accommodating and really focused on our knots.
The ladies recommended we hit the steam room for a couple of minutes to get the full effect of the scalp treatment. We were given robes and slippers so we weren’t even worried about having walked in without extra clothes.
Next time we make an appointment we’re gonna make sure we have all day to ourselves so we can take advantage of having the full gym at our disposal before and after our treatment.
Thank you guys so much for making my boyfriend’s very first time such a great and memorable one. He can’t wait till we can go back.

I purchased a living social deal for In Touch Massage & Day Spa in TO. I have CALLED 3 times and LEFT 3 MESSAGES 2/​22, ²⁄₂₅ and again this morning ²⁄₂₇ and have yet to get a RETURN phone call to simply make an appointment! NOT VERY HAPPY AT ALL!!! If this is how they operate I will be asking for a REFUND!!!

Although it’s in a gym, this place steps it up! The massage therapists are wonderful, professional and really know how to relax you. Bought the couples massage from groupon and had a great experience. My fiancées first massage and he wants to come back once a month now! The massage room is so relaxing with the music, slight relaxing scents, and trickling water. So wonderful… I’ll be coming here again

I’ve been going to In Touch Massage & Day Spa for sometime now. I’ve had many facials over the years from other spas and have not found any equal to this one. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a wonderful relaxing facial.
Ask for Laura… the best 90 minute facial I’ve ever had.

This place was amazing. Not only did we have full access to the gym but the massage was everything I expected it to be. My masseuse, Tan, hit all the right spots. She worked out all the knots in my shoulder, back, calves, and thighs. I am definitely going back here again.

I love this place. Not only does it hv great products to buy but they hv the best message therapist. I also like being able to use the gym on the day I get my message or facial. Best place in town:)

This place is my hidden treasure. I have always been driving a distance for that day spa massage when the best massage was right next to me! Every time I come for a massage it has been excellent. And a huge plus is that you can use the facilities before or after!

I’ve worked at the Four Seasons Spa in Westlake and have high standards.
Sherrie exceeds them all! She listens to my preferences and makes me feel like a whole new person.

After I joined the Spectrum gym, I received an ad for a discounted massage and facial here. I tried both and the technicians were both excellent. I have continued to go to Laura for facials and she does a super job. She really understands skin issues and she makes good recommendations. This place is easy to get a booking and they are flexible about changes, The best part if you don’t already go to the Gym there you can use their facilities on the day of your scheduled treatment. So you can get a free gym day and use of the sauna, etc with your treatment.

I have been coming to this spa for massages for a couple years now and it’s the ONLY place I will go for a deep tissue massage. Every single therapist is top notch and are very eager to listen to me about the areas of concern etc love it!

I didn’t have a great first experience here. The woman giving me a salt scrub and herbal wrap ran about 30 minutes late and rushed through both treatments, and then I was over charged. After my initial review I was contacted by the owner and asked to come back to make up for the bad experience I had.
On my second trip I had a salt scrub and massage by Melissa. She was on time and both the scrub and massage were heavenly. I would come back as long as I booked my appointment with her.
One thing to keep in mind is this spa in a gym. The waiting area is just a bench in the back of a locker room, which isn’t a big deal unless you’re stuck sitting there for 30 minutes like I was on my first trip.
If this review was on my second experience I would give them 4 stars, but because of the bad first experience I rated only 3.

I took advantage of a Conejo Deals special for a couple’s massage. It was a great price to introduce me to another local massage venue. The location is inside the Spectrum Club, which isn’t ideal as far as lending to a spa atmosphere. The receptionist was very professional and nice. The tiny boutique is cute and has various products, PJs and yoga clothes.
We walked across the gym floor area to the couples suite, which was tucked away on another side of the building. Again, not really helping in the ambiance department, however it gets better.
The suite looked more like a sports therapy room, but they had a nice little water fountain, candles and some music going. My therapist was Breezy and she really is what took this review to 4 stars. After a quick chat, she got to work and applied the right pressure, kept it overall relaxing, but went after the problem areas. She combines touch with some slight stretching which worked beautifully for me. I enjoyed my 1 hour massage very much and hope to return soon!
