Dr. Albert Chow is a Master of the Academy of General Dentistry (MAGD), a distinction earned by less than 1% of all dentists in the United States. He has completed more than 1,100 hours of continuing dental education. In addition, he completed a Fellowship at New York’s renowned Memorial Sloan-​Kettering Cancer Center.

In practice for 18 years, Dr. Chow has performed more than 75,000 restorative and cosmetic procedures, including implants, veneers and full-​mouth rehabilitations. From lasers to clear braces to massaging dental chairs, Dr. Chow uses state-​of-​the-​art equipment and techniques to deliver a complete range of procedures with maximum patient comfort.

Dr. Chow and his staff’s number one goal is to make sure you are comfortable. Normally, I have an issue with keeping my mouth open during a cleaning. As soon as I felt uncomfortable Dr. Chow and his assistant applied ice to the outside of my jaw and the discomfort went away.
The staff is very friendly.

I had a molar that needed to be removed because the inside had decayed away. I was referred to Dr. Chow by a friend who said he is a painless dentist and with no insurance I was told he will work with you. I have to say this was one of the best recommendations I have ever received. I had to drive from Sherman Oaks and was complaining about the long drive. This visit and extraction seemed like the perfect storm, I was at his office in less than 30 minutes. His staff was great and made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked in the door and Dr. Chow was the best. After they took X-​rays Dr. Chow sat down with me and shared what he saw and how he would remove the tooth knowing it would probably break up into lots of pieces with the inside all decayed out. The amount of time he spent and the in-​depth conversation we had surprised me but I felt confident I made the right decision to use this dentist. He sounded like such a pro and more important he wanted me to feel comfortable with what he was going to do.
The Surgery was painless for sure, all during the process he was checking in with me to make sure I was OK. This was actually a good experience, who would have thought cutting out a tooth could be so easy. He did all this knowing my cash flow was not the best and I would probably not be back quickly to resolve the other problems in my mouth until my cash flow got better. The Price was right for sure, the service and professionalism was the best. He told me what I had to do next in my mouth after pulling this tooth and let me know I was OK for a while and NOT to worry that things were going to be horrible if I didn’t fix all the problems in my mouth right now. Thank you Dr, Chow for NO SALES PITCH.
if you are looking for a great dentist this guy is the best. This is only the second review I have done on Unilocal. Normally the situation just doesn’t call for me to stop and write a review about my experience. BUT this Guy definitely got my vote of confidence. If you are looking for a dentist that has it all together i would strongly suggest you see Dr. Chow. Actually he is the kind of guy you would like to have as a friend. pretty cool.

I loved going to the dentist because of Dr Chow’s office.
I was a patient for approximately 3 – 4 years. I was always greeted at the office as if they were next door neighbors and they knew you, even though my visits were every 3 or 6 months. I was given the same few hygenists, so they knew me and I knew them. They were very detailed and thorough, gentle and knowledgeable.
Dr Chow is very friendly and knowledgeable as well. When I was a patient, he used to go to continuing education courses to learn new techniques and stay abreast with latest research, and he was passionate about his job. The office has the latest tools; I was a patient at the same office before Dr Chow began his practice there, and he had brought in updated equipment, computers, etc. He brought in Invisalign, which I got through his office. I referred coworkers who went there with their kids, and they all liked him too. The leather chairs are also very comfortable and there are TVs on the ceiling, you can change the channel: o).
Overall, the staff was the best — knowledgable, thorough, gentle, into teaching you how to better care for your teeth and gums. I always left with extra toothbrushes and travel size toothpaste and floss. I now have extras at home of travel size teethcare that I havent had to replenish for some time. They treat you like they are your neighbors/​friends, rather than a number or nameless patient.

I was recommended into this clinic by a co-​worker and since I’ve been treated here I have done the same. Very professional team overall. Checking previous reviews I’ve noticed these are more focused overall in the fact that dental treatment is and always has been pricey, just as any other health service. I felt Dr Chow always came clean about what treatment was required for me and was not trying to beat around the bush so I took his opinion seriously and have not regretted it ever since. Highly recommended.

When I arrived at Dr Chow’s practice I was in need of some serious dental work. Dr Chow and his team went the distance with me and totally remade my teeth. A major effort like this is going to cost, and it did, but the real question is what are you spending money on. Quality or bargain basement junk? In Dr Chow’s case you can be sure that the work is top quality and the overall result will be excellent. Sure I did not want to spend money, but I am so pleased with my teeth now, they look natural and don’t embarrass me. You get what you pay for.

Dr. Chow and the team have made many necessary changes, and all for the better, to my teeth. As my old fillings had begin breaking down we agreed to porcelain crowns, matched to my teeth’e current color, the teeth that were in the worst shape. Chow uses state of the art techniques and is sensitive to more low threshold of pain. My teeth all look great today!

The office staff is extremely friendly, the dr on the other hand is questionable. I honestly felt like this place was after my $$. They would constantly suggest I get crowns… And after the first few, I had to jump ship for a 2nd opinion — soooo glad I did. Love my new dentist
