Summit Termite & Pest Control

Bad news! I found termite excrement along an exterior wall of my home. Since I have seen it before, I know what it looks like.
Called the company that I have used in the past but they closed their local office.
Based on Unilocal reviews, I called Summit and scheduled an appointment.
Jonathan arrived precisely at the appointed time, much appreciated!
I should also mention Jonathan was very personable and professional.
Good news! I showed Jonathan the problem area and after a short examination he informed me that it was cricket excrement, not termite excrement (I guess I’m not as knowledgeable about termite poop as I thought!).
When I asked how much I owed for the inspection he said «no charge».
While my experience with Summit is somewhat limited, everything I do know about them is top notch.
I will not hesitate to use Summit or refer them to others in the future.

I hired Summit Termite to do the inspection for a new home I was buying (based on a recommendation from my real estate agent). Kevin came out and did the inspection. Very nice, very punctual, very professional. I got a clean bill of health and subsequently bought the house.
6 months later, I noticed a tiny round hole in the ceiling of one of my bedrooms. I contacted Summit and they immediately came out and did a re-​inspection (no cost to me). They determined I had «subterranean termites» which are apparently very common in my area (as opposed to the very damaging dry wood termites).
Long story short, Kevin returned a week later and did a full treatment for subterranean termites around the entire perimeter of my house (which included drilling small holes every 16 inches into both the concrete and soil that surrounds my foundation and inserting a chemical to kill the termites). He then patched all the concrete holes so you can’t even tell the work was done and went on his way.
A couple of days later, I got an invoice detailing the work that was performed (along with a brand new guarantee). But here’s the best part — NO CHARGE.
I truly appreciate an honest company that takes pride in their work and responsibility for the result. Summit termite is a very professional company with very nice people behind it. You should have no concerns about hiring them. They do great work.

Summit conducted a termite inspection we needed for a VA refinance. Everyone was so nice, professional and accommodating. They recommended some work that would need to be done. My husband did the work right away as we were trying to finalize all requirements before Christmas. Summit worked with us by fitting in a reinspection just 2 days after initial inspection and then emailed final report the very next morning! Fantastic!

I have been working with Kevin for fifteen years. As a Realtor, it is important to have people on your team that you trust will find a solution, but won’t cut corners. Kevin and his team are those people. His office staff is always courteous and efficient, never forget to return a call or remind you of a scheduled appt. Kevin is prompt and efficient has always gone above and beyond to make sure my clients are happy.

This company just did our house in the last few days. They did a really good job along with Best Care fumigation. We did have to be out for a couple of days but we had the house prepared the way they asked and it was really pretty easy. They took care not to mess up anything and cleaned up after they were done. They also came and checked the house to open some vents. We stayed in our motor home in the driveway but they gave us plenty of bags to protect the food we had to leave in the house. They were a very good price compared with other estimates we had received. We would highly recommend them.

We saw termite eggs and called Summit to check it out. When I called they specified that a quick check of the problem area was no charge but if I wanted them to do a full check including the attic it would be $ 75.00. I choose the full check. Jon showed up exactly on time and was very nice. Luckily he found only a small area that needed to be treated and quoted us $ 200.00.
Jon sent a proposal a few days later and we scheduled the treatment. Jon showed up on time again and squirted bug poison into my floors which took only a few minutes. After he finished, he told us that because it was so quick, he didn’t think we should have to pay $ 200 so he knocked $ 50 off the price!
Great service, nice people. I’ll use them again.

I called Kevin to see if they will get rid of an ant infestation. Unfortunately they don’t kill ants, but he reccomended someone that does.

Summit makes minor repairs at no additional charge, which is very nice. They’re very reasonable and don’t try to upcharge expensive treatments. They’re very honest.

Summit Terimite and Pest control is the best. Kevin is a great guy and has the best customer service, and quality of Terimite control. He did Terimite fogging on our house and solved our teremite issues. He will tell it to you straight, and give you a great price with great service. I highly recommend him.

From our initial phone call for a termite inspection to the fumigation and the invoicing, every part of our experience with Summit was excellent.
Valerie was so helpful on the phone, answering our questions and always assuring us that if we thought of anything else, not to hesitate to call. The fumigation took place at the time and between the dates scheduled. The guys even called me to let me know when they were done so that I could get moved back in as soon as possible.
Invoicing was done by email and I was able to pay the bill by phone. No one really wants to have their house fumigated, but if you have to then I would totally recommend Summit! It’s been a long time since I came across a company with such great customer service — thank you!
