History

Established in 1979.

Dr. Jerry Hong graduated from the UCLA school of Dentistry in 1975. After working as an associate for a couple of years, Dr. Hong started his own practice in Thousand Oaks in 1979. Over the years, Dr. Hong has established the practice in the community through doing good for others and standing behind his work. Dr. Kari Ann Hong followed in her father’s footsteps and joined the family business in 2004.

Dr. Kari Ann Hong graduated in 2003 from the UCLA School of Dentistry. At graduation she received the following awards: Academy of General Dentistry Award, American Student Dental Association Award of Excellence, American Association of Women Dentists, Eleanor Bushee Senior Dental Award and the Dental Foundation of California Award.

Dr. Kari Ann Hong received advanced training from a year long residency course in Cosmetic Dentistry from Esthetic Professionals in Tarzana, California. In addition, she has completed nearly 200 hours of training in TMJ and occlusal therapies from The Pankey Institute in Key Biscayne, Florida. She is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and the American Association of University Women.

On a personal note, Dr. Hong enjoys spending time with her husband and two young sons. She and her family enjoy an active lifestyle of water skiing, snow skiing, boating, hiking, and overall adventure seeking.
