If you happen to be diabetic or gluten intolerant we can satisfy your sweet tooth there too with our No Sugar Added (NSA) and Gluten Free (GF) Cheesecakes our NSA Cookies or our GF Chocolate Flour-​less Torte and Flan.

We have been serving restaurants all over the Pacific North West for over 3 decades as well as serving the needs of the internet purchaser with our top quality products.

We now have our outlet store where you can pick up discounted product due to over stock, miss cuts or cosmetic blemishes as well as place an order for your favorite treat.

You can find our outlet store in the Canterbury Shopping Center on Pacific Hwy, right along side our bakery production facility.

History

Established in 1976.

The Calhoun family had a dream to supply the local community with the best quality Cheesecake around.

With a wide variety of delicious recipes and the best local ingredients they could find Desserts of Distinction began the summer of 1976.

As word spread of our top quality and wide selection of flavors and sizes we began to receive requests for specialty products. NSA Cheesecakes and how about Cookies?

As the low carb craze began Desserts of Distinction became the go to place for «the best» Cheesecake. As the internet grew and became the place to do your shopping we developed our website and began shipping all over the USA and Canada.

You can now find these same top quality desserts (were not just Cheesecake anymore) in many of our local restaurants as well as many casinos throughout the Pacific NW. You can enjoy our Black and Tan Brownie at any of the McMenamin’s Pubs or maybe our Cheesecake on a Stick while enjoying a ball game at Frontier Field in NJ.

Business Owner

In November of 2005 I came to work for Desserts of Distinction as the accountant. I fell in love with the business, it’s staff, suppliers and customers and of course with the product.

By March of 2007 I had the opportunity to purchase the business which I jumped at. Although since then we have faced a recession and two moves in a period of 6 months I am still in love.

For all of the reasons I decided to purchase the business I give thanks every day. Thank you to our wonderful customers, my devoted staff, our supportive suppliers and last but not least our wonderful product!
