Good health starts with your feet. Arch Supports, also known as foot orthotics are our specialty at Foot Solutions. If you experience low back pain, knee pain or heel pain, we can help. If you suffer from plantar fasciitis, bunions, Morton’s neuroma, or just plain aching feet, the board certified experts at Foot Solutions stand ready to provide good advice regarding the health of your feet.

At Foot Solutions, a board certified Pedorthist will spend 30 – 45 minutes with you using our state of the art equipment to collect data and learn about your unique situation (appointment required). We believe that this assessment process is necessary before a recommendation can be made that is correct for you. Our professional approach is based on facts and logic, not high-​pressure sales tactics.

History

Established in 2001.

Foot Solutions of Tigard opened in May, 2001. Present owner/​operators Kurt and Sylvia Doctor purchased the facility in 2006. In 2013, the Doctors moved the store to a freshly outfitted and updated facility at the intersection of Durham Rd and Pacific Hwy in Tigard.

Meet the Business Owner

Kurt D.

Business Owner

Kurt, a graduate of the Michigan State University School of Business, spent the first 22 years of his career with Eastman Kodak Co in a variety of sales, sales management and general management roles in the US, Europe and Asia. In 2005, a persistent case of plantar fasciitis led Kurt to a Foot Solutions store where he purchased a set of custom arch supports. Greatly impressed with the knowledgeable staff and performance of the arch supports, Kurt examined the Foot Solutions business model in detail. One thing led to another and before long, Kurt had purchased the Foot Solutions store in Tigard, OR.

Sylvia Neal Doctor is a board certified pedorthist (C.Ped) who has been with Kurt at the Tigard store since 2006. Sylvia and Kurt own and operate the facility and were married in July of 2015.
