To be honest it was just ok. hollandaise sauce was good, but eggs were extremely undercooked, practically raw. Belgian waffle was a little dense, but the flavor was good.

Comfort food. If you grew up in New England, you’ll see all the meals that you’d expect on the table at home. Turkey dinner plate, mac & cheese, shepherd’s pie, meat loaf, burgers, pasta dishes. All good portions too. Nothing too fancy, but what they do, they do right and most importantly– consistently. Full bar gives you drink options. My only gripe is that one night there was live entertainment in the main dining room. Great music, but too loud for conversation. So if you want to talk and the musicians are there, just ask for the other dining room and you should be fine.

I went there last night for appetizers got the nachos real good (next time I’ll get without onions) they were big enough to pick off though and I had ham and cheese potatoe skins the bomb I even told my fiancé it’s real ham he said something like there’s fake ham and there Mac and cheese sauce there were four on the plate and I only let him have one

Absolutely disgusting breakfast. I have given it a try multiple times because it is right down the street. I don’t know why I kept going back even though I’ve never liked their food, coffee or service. Coffee is cold and horrid, food never comes out hot, or even warm, and the service leaves a lot to be desired. It completely baffles me that some people love their breakfast. To me it’s a giant «I’LL PASS!!».

Service wasnt great waitress never came back over… order johnny cakes tasted like raw corn flour portion sizes weren’t large but was enough food and the Choruico hash had no flavor tasted awful!!! Won’t be back again we live in the area and there are better places.

Average to below average food. Coffee stale. Eggs fine once loaded with salt and pepper. Home fries fried but still not crispy. Johnnycakes are dry and taste like burnt flower. The chorico hash is one of the grossest things that I have ever had the misfortune to put in my mouth. It tastes not like chorico or hash but like the burnt onion bits off of a bad onion bagel. My friend had the French toast and said it was plain white bread with butter and syrup on it. When we didn’t touch the chorico hash and told the waitress we didn’t like it she did nothing about it. We still paid for it. There is literally no reason to ever come here. This area is full of great places to eat. This isn’t one of them.

Fine just fine. Asian chicken wrap tasted like McD’s wraps. Kids loved the peanut butter pancakes. Nice Belgian waffle. Breakfast better than lunch. Waitress was excellent. Scallops were way overlooked.

Friendly staff, good food, reasonably priced, what’s not to like. I go every weekend for breakfast and am always satisfied. Josh is an amazingly friendly server that always greets us and makes us feel welcome.

Stopped in for breakfast I went there mainly for the Johnny cakes and let me tell you I was not disappointed had their special 2 eggs, home fries with pepper&onions toast, bacon sausage and Johnny cakes with bottomless coffee $ 10 and it was good, however I only gave it 4 stars because I found the coffee on the bitter side I will definitely be back regardless of the coffee

If you like previously frozen, presently nuked, and quickly topped food covered in sauces to hide quality, and/​or bread crumbs and butter to hide their incredulous culinary approach to fooling customers… HAVE AT IT! The service is wonderful and u never wait for a thing. Neither should they. The microwaves are always popping food out so you’ll never have to worry. For Real. GO ELSEWHERE! I am an executive chef in a restaurant where we create dishes from scratch, having almost 5 stars from Unilocal and many other sites with quality culinary expectations. I can smell frozen seafood, and nuked food before it ever reaches my palate. This owner is in it for the money and not the professional reward of being brilliant with food.

Once you get by parking in a dirt lot. They make a fantastic home style breakfast served with a smile. The food was tasty and plated nicely, and the price was good. It’s a family restaurant and served by well mannered high school kids. Never been there for lunch or dinner, but I can easily recommend breakfast at family ties.

The baked stuffed quahog is the best I’ve ever had. 2nd time getting the baked cod and wouldn’t order anything else since I like it so much. Haven’t had a trip here where j have been disappointed. They also have some different beer concoctions that are pretty good!

about a month ago I finally moved off my beloved cod and tried the lobster mac n cheese. I was blown away. there was probably enough lobster meat by market price to cover the dish. I had atleast 2 full claws in there and the mac n cheese is amazing even without it. My 2 children love it here and I do as well

Went here for dinner. Ordered the Kabobs, which was on special. It came with three varieties: veggie, chicken, and streak over a bed of rice. When it came, it looked pretty disheartening. Everything was grilled, however nothing looked very appetizing. Let’s start with the veggies, which were old and pretty soggy. The Chickens were cooked well but had no flavor at all. And the steak consisted of a few pieces of rough to cut flank steak. The rice was also over-​buttered and it was all I could taste.
Maybe the highlight is breakfast — I’ll never know.

Great little spot! Breakfast is my favorite meal any time of day. I always prefer the little family places and this places doesn’t disappoint! We’ve been here a few times, once with our daughter, and have left satisfied every time. Love the homey feel and haven’t ever had to wait long for a table on either a Saturday or Sunday morning. After they leave the check we don’t ever feel rushed to leave. Happy customer here, will definitely continue to eat here.

Love this place for breakfast! It is very affordable and the specials are usually delicious.
Last week we stopped in and were happy to see eggnog pancakes on the specials menu. They were amazing! Just what I needed to kick off the holiday season. The chorizo hash is always good as well.

Very average breakfast, but in a nicely painted and primed dining room with lots of seating and cheap prices. Service was severely impersonal, and my Portuguese Sweet Bread french toast was soggy and undercooked to the point of me being afraid to eat it.
I’d recommend toting your butt over to Vinny’s on Stafford Road. It’s not as pretty, but the food and service are miles beyond this place.
