Description

Specialties

Manhattan’s is striving to be the #1 destination in Toledo for Dining and Live Entertainment. We offer a New York-inspired menu, reflecting the diverse and eclectic cuisines of America and around the world. We also feature monthy Wine Dinners, monthly Wine Tastings, and the occasional Beer Dinner or Whiskey and Cigar Dinner.

What most of our customers notice immediately is our ambiance. Upscale without the stuffiness, in a «Cheers» way, with a friendly, professional waitstaff. Relax in the exposed brick and stained oak interior, sip maritinis on the patio, or enjoy a fine-dining style meal with your friends and family.

Manhattan’s has been a leading force in the Local Live Entertainment circuit since we opened in 2002, featuring live music 6 nights a week. Open Mic on Monday, Open Blues Jam on Tuesday, Singer/Songwriters on Wednesday, Jazz Trio Nite on Thursday, and the BEST Blues in the Region Friday and Saturday nights, occasionally featuring National Artists.

History

Established in 2002.

After living in New York City for a few years, Zach Lahey returned to his hometown and immediately became smitten with Downtown Toledo, a previously unexplored neighborhood to him. Seeing the great potential in the downtrodden city center, Zach and his family took a huge chance and spent a year building out a restaurant in an 100 year old building on Adams St.

Since opening, Zach and his father, Marty, have been instrumental in pushing the progress and growth of their neighborhood, as well as all of Downtown, by creating an Arts and Entertainment District, pushing for the new Arena to be built Downtown, and tirelessly working to improve their own restaurant’s quality, consistency, and ambiance.

As Manhattan’s approaches it’s 10-year anniversary, Zach and Marty look to the next 10 years with great excitement for Toledo, especially Downtown. Toledo is a GREAT place to live, work, and visit!
