Very friendly service! Welcomed as soon as we came in! Little bit of a wait for food but it was worth it. I soaked up the quaint surroundings while I waited. Great menu with something for everyone! I had the grilled veggie sandwich. Very good. Great mix of veggies! Magnificent addition to the Old West End.

Delicious sandwiches in the heart of the Old West End? You heard it here folks, Pumpernickel’s delivers a solid lunch. The café is small, quaint and very clean. Service is ultra friendly and the food is fresh and tasty. We tried the turkey reuben and grilled tuna salad sandwiches which were grilled in a panini press. Both were fantastic options and a steal at the price. We added some mac salad as well as pasta salad. Fresh and also very tasty. Pumpernickel’s is minutes from Downtown Toledo, and is a great option for a quick, inexpensive lunch. Just a hop and a skip away from Black Kite coffee, this block now offers a one two punch for a great place to spend a few tasty bucks.
