A good clean atmosphere and great gathering place for friends. Old School Fridays make the end of the work week enjoyable… Keep up the good work guys

I don’t care what age you are, you’re never too old for Wesley’s! This has always been one of my favorite local bars. Great prices, awesome people and there is just no such think as a ‘boring’ night out here!

If you are looking for the party, make sure you are there Friday’s 11 to close. Old school Fridays are great.

Good job here although they need to take the grill part off as they only serve drinks. There is a full bar available. I remember they did serve food a long time ago. Very laid back atmosphere. Cool bartenders and a heck of a craft beer selection. This Singapore IPA they just got is delish. Weekends tend to attract the college crowd but I ll come hang with them to hear the old school hip hop they play every friday. Never paid over $ 4 for any beer and if you read my reviews you know I only drink high end beers. Come get one.

I’ve only been here once, but I like it a whole bunch. My friends go to The Ottawa Tavern a bunch, so this place was overlooked until the May art walk. We went here for a drink and the drinks were a dollar. They were giving away hot dogs. They have bocce and bags in the back. And the outdoor patio is pretty great.

Very chill place to hang out. Wesley’s has a classic feel inside with historical ceiling and floors. The patio is spacious and has a comfortable setting. Service is good and prices aren’t bad. One of my favorite spots on Adams street.

The crown jewel of Downtown bars. Killer beer selection, cheap drinks, awesome patio, neighborhood feel, lots of character. Wesley’s rules. The Freakjazz Ensemble on Thursdays, and Old School Fridays DJ nights are each superb, in very different ways. Most every other night of the week, it’s just a great, chill neighborhood bar. Happy hour is always a good time to stop in too, a great way to unwind from work. Be sure to say hi to Laurie, the bartendress.

I really enjoy having a few beers at Wesley’s. The crowd varies depending on what time and day you’re there. The after work crowd is older with lawyers, judges, and other downtown workers. Late nights tend to be a younger crowd. It really doesn’t matter the age though, because all are friendly. The beer selection is awesome and not too expensive. Drinks as a whole are relatively cheap. As mentioned before the patio is a true gem. The back bar is a nice place to have a private party or to simply escape the music on weekend night’s if you so choose. All in all it’s a pretty good place to have some drinks with friends.

Great bar with a real neighborhood feel to it. Reminds of a few bars in college that were a solid mix of grad students and townies. The beer selection is great, I was there one evening for an open bar event and tried nearly a dozen and they carry from the typical to the hard to find. I think they had maybe three or four other beers on tap(ranging from miller lite to magic hat). Wesley’s is in the«uptown» area of Toledo, so just right outside of the downtown arenas. This means it’s going to be a bit of a walk if you’re coming from one of the areas. You can usually find parking on the street nearby and even though the area is pretty deserted at night I’ve never had a problem walking a few blocks from where I live. Every time I’ve been here there has been a decent crowd and again like I said a good mix of people. This is the type of bar you wished was on the corner of your block. Possibly the best part of the bar is the back patio. Great area with a ton of chairs(type of area with Christmas lights year round) and some corn hole sets. This isn’t the cheapest place in the world to drink, but not awful. Also the men’s bathroom is a little more than a closet, so make sure your ready for a few awkard moments with other occupants. Overall a really nice place to kick back and drink in Toledo.

I made it to Ohio… kicking and screaming… but once I got there, I chilled out. Seriously though I went down to Wesley’s one Friday August 12th to watch 2 friends of mine have a DJ battle. I was very skeptical of being in Ohio because my experience with this place outside of Cedar Point have never been fully comfortable. Wesley’s changed my view about the entire state! Located just 5 minutes into Ohio from Michigan it is only a hop skip and a jump across the border. The décor is nice, the bar is big, and the summer time patio set up is solid gold and really made the night for me. Their beer list is extensive, and so cheap it is hard to believe they even make money. Oberon bottles or tap for 3 bucks, and if you’re really on a budget shoot for the 1.25 stubbies of Mickey’s. The crowd there was super fun, nice, and friendly which was new to me for Ohio. Every other time I have been there the people all seemed a bit pissed off(coming from a Detroit that should say something). What really blew me away about Wesley’s is the bar’s ability to bring out the partier in anyone. Coming from Detroit where the techno snobs roll thick, crowd the booth and chin-stroke, and dancing is a rare sight seen only about 4 times a year. Wesley’s was a breathe of fresh air! Everyone was cheering on the drop of a hot track, nonstop dancing, and smiles from the back fence to the front door. The promoters of the Friday and Saturday nights there are acquaintances through a friend, and they are 2 really great guys and awesome DJ’s. If ever roll through this city on a weekend stop in here and enjoy some good music with a great crowd. Fridays are funk night and Saturdays is house(Todd and Nate really shine when they bring the deeper soulful house) and techno.
