Been to cool beans several times over the years. They have a very large menu. Pricing is a little high for what you get but the food is fresh. Service is not very good. The servers are very nice but need a training in how to be efficient wait staff. Not a fan of the coffee. The specialty coffees are extremely sweet and on 2 occasions they were not hot enough. Atmosphere is fine but def. Not a coffeehouse vibe… more of a restaurant feel which is fine but if you are looking for a coffee house I would choose another place.

Haven’t been since the café relocated but went back today. Better than I remember. The Staff at the coffee bar were extremely friendly. Coffee was perfect. I also ordered an Italian sandwich which was delicious. Lunch for two ran about $ 30, Well worth the price in my opinion. Will definitely be back a lot more frequently.

When we came they had a couple live bands going. That was pretty solid. The waitress with the short hair was so sweet. Coffee is on point. Just wish it felt more like a coffee shop and not some restaurant

This place has literally stood the test of time. Tucked away near the movie theater at sea court I drop in there before a movie for a quick coffee pick me up so I’m not snoozing away in the theater.

We were shopping, needed something quick and stopped in. REALLY impressed. We had the personal pizza — excellent. Service was great too. we would definitely go back and make it a planned stop.

Coffee is really good but the location makes me so sad. I’d prefer sitting at the coffee bar than the tables. Cool beans use to be at a location with comfortable seating and your coffee place vibe. Now it’s just another restaurant setting. The staff is really nice and you’re expected coffee baristas with unique personalities and conversationalists.

I have since been back here because I really do like the food and the service has been much better. It could’ve been a really off day. Looks like they changed the staff around a bit and are on the right track. Love the honey dipped chicken wrap!

Good coffee, but for a coffee house it does not feel comfortable and inviting. Seriously update this place already!

Love this place. Staff are always a pleasure and the food is amazing. I always get extra for the next day. Best personal pizza around and grilled veggies are awesome. White chocolate latte is heavenly and so are the desserts. Really fun place for a quick meal.

Fun place to hangout with a few buds. Cute, cozy place. Even have waitress service and entertainment. I mean, I’ve even seen people moshing here while a local band took the floor.

They moved to another spot in the plaza, and I was not impressed. The inside was a lot smaller than their other location with less seating. We both ordered a simple wrap and it took FOREVER to come out. I gave it 3 stars because their food is really good, but for 10 dollars i would expect something better than what looked like half a wrap, and take less than 35 minutes to make.

Decided to stop by and pick up a couple double espressos to go and we were pleasantly surprised by this nice coffee shop. We can’t wait to go back & hang out when we have more time… AND the espressos were MUCH better than Starbucks! So happy to support a local business!

If you haven’t been to Cool Beans in a couple of weeks, give it a chance again. They recently(I believe a month ago) moved to the opposite side of the Seacourt Pavillion. The place is now VERY clean(new chairs/tables/everything) and cute(light blue walls with brown/wood accents, and still have the paintings on the wall). Menus are new, although the items are still the same with I believe a few additions(I don’t remember seeing tacos in their previous spot, but now they offer them and some other stuff). I will definitely be honest and say that some of their food is not that great(hence the 4 stars). Most of the time, people complain about their fried food or burgers because they are probably frozen. However, I am not entirely sure if things have changed since they moved. Perhaps they have stopped. But I am a huge fan of their quiches, pizzettes, and wraps. They were good before, and since the move, I have had the shrimp and broccoli wrap and the classic pizzette. Both were very yummy, as usual. Their drinks are always delicious. I just went today and had the passion and envy hot tea(green passion fruit tea), and my friend had earl grey. We were both pleased! Been going to Cool Beans for about 10 years now. I’ve always loved the vibe. They’ve got some new servers on the staff, and I haven’t had a complaint yet.

I think an authentic café wouldn’t succeed in TR(does anyone remember the Java Joint? That place was great) because the town doesn’t really have an atmosphere of going to a café to read or write or study. My guess is that Cool Beans tries to succeed with a food menu to make money(and something has to be working since it’s been around for a bit now). I’ve only ordered drinks at Cool Beans itself and all the coffee drinks I ordered were good. I’ve ordered take out appetizers like fries and they were good, too, but I can’t attest for the rest. Service-wise the last time I went, I had great service. I don’t think this is the best café in the world but it’s not terrible. A café that was just based on coffee drinks and small bites isn’t economically feasible here so at least Cool Beans is making an attempt with a bigger menu and some live music. I consider it better than the diner but not as good as a place like Applebee’s.

Ive been here a few times and I find that the food is overpriced for the ‘food’ they serve you. It all tastes like it was frozen. The service isn’t the best. young kids who ignore you. I like there drinks and dessert but never again for entrees.

Not so cool beans, This place sucks. Avoid at all costs and go to a Starbucks instead before the movie. I sat at the counter in front of some Decent looking brownies and ordered a brownie sundae. The lady that was handling the cashier and the menus grabs a brownie with her bare hands out of the freezer, gets a huge chef knife, then puts all of her weight into cutting the brownie in half. She then puts it in the microwave for 20 seconds, proceeds to the cash box to process someone bill, counts Money and then returns to the microwave to start poking at my brownie with her dirty hands to see if they were defrosted. She puts it back in and another employee starts poking it as well then she gets a coffee mug, fills it with soft serve and dumps it on the plate in between both brownies. It was very un appetizing and I was embarrassed for them to have the guts to serve this. If I could give a zero stars I would.

Cool Beans is kind of like a coffee shop/diner on a small scale. The wait staff is highly unprofessional but seems like it would be a good place for tweens and teens. We go before seeing movies and sit at the counter but we’ve never had a great experience so it vexes me why we keep going back? I guess there is no place else that close to grab a cappuccino or bite to eat. Ok, so we walk in, sit at the counter, there is barely anyone in there at the moment. But it seems to take the staff, who are all standing around chatting a few minutes to greet us. Once they do, it’s another few minutes before we get our order of drinks. Then it’s hard to get their attention to pay since we’re trying to get to our movie. They’re all chatting about their days off, or who they’ll be hanging out with that night etc. Just kind of annoying.

I have been coming to Cool Beans for at least 10 years. I find the menu to be very diverse, inexpensive and trendy. I love the wait staff and recomend this place for anyone looking for a wrap, salad, grilled sandwich or great coffee selection. I always order the grilled buffalo chicken wrap, with the pasta side dish(lots of pepper, yum) and a side of fries. The fries have usually been a dollar when added to my meal.
