Great food, which is the most important issue about any restaurant. If you are a fan of spicy stuff then by all means, try their Spicy Lemon Garlic Chicken. It’s great.
Service is good & the prices are reasonable. Highly recommend.

Very delicious chicken! I used to go to Chicken Dijon and I must say this place is so much better. It’s family owned and the sons are quite good looking heheh.

This location has very superb customer service. Everyone here is way helpful and attentive. The food is amazing. My husband ordered the falafel plate and the sides on the plate were plentiful. He got steamed veggies and a salad. I ordered the ½ chicken spicy lemon garlic with the hummus and white rice with the Mint iced tea. The chicken is moist and juicy and very flavorful. We have made our way into this location twice and both times, we have enjoyed their amazingly awesome service. Making our way back very soon.

I went to this place with my friend on a random night after work. It was busy but the staff was very friendly. I ended up getting the gyro and it was really good. I’m usually not a fan since it gives me an upset stomach for some unknown reason. this one didn’t do that lol. So yeah, 4 stars! I got to try their rotisserie chicken too. It’s very good, and it is seaoned really well. It’s not fair that I only got to have a taste since my friend bought it for her dinner. Her hummus was good too…

Deliciously wicked chicken!
There’s so many fantastic places across not just Torrance but LA in general that do a fantastic rotisserie chicken. Whether it is classic Americana Sunday dinner types found at say California Chicken Café, Mediterranean casual dining like Zankou, or Peruvian places like Chicken Shack close by the choices are abundant!
But Chicken Maison sticks out in my opinion for the uniqueness in their sauce. The place is classified in the mediterranean genre but I have never had chicken quite like this at other places. I’m no expert by any means of mediterranean food so maybe it’s pretty common, just not in my experience.
Dat chicken sauce though. The chicken to be frank is pretty average if not somewhat bland for my taste but that sauce more than makes up for it.
It’s a blend of scallions/​green onions, garlic, lemon, chili peppers and I am sure a proprietary blend of spices held under secret lock and key punishable by death or pita bread suffocating.
But damnit if it isn’t delicious as all blue hell. It vaguely reminds me of a sort of Asian chili sauce you sometimes find in Chinese, Thai, and Vietnamese cooking.
The sides are pretty good but not great either. I like their dill potato salad. I am mainly there for the chicken though.
So if you love rotisserie chicken and looking for someplace new to try, try here!

If you don’t want to go through the ordeal of reading the whole review, you should know you cannot go wrong with this place if you are craving some Mediterranean food.
The place is clean, brightly lit and spacious. I say this since most of the places serving good Mediterranean food are cramped. Well, this place isn’t. So, you can definitely dine in.
The prices are reasonable. You get Spicy garlic lemon chicken with two sides for $ 10.50 + taxes. The portion size is great and you can definitely have lunch/​dinner and still have a lot left for another meal.
I got the spicy garlic lemon chicken with brown rice and spicy humus from the specialities and hubby got the gyro plate. Both the plates were delicious and we were served with some pita bread as well. The food is really top notch and fresh. The staff was really friendly and prompt. We have found our new favorite Mediterranean place. Will definitely be going back for more.

Pretty good for takeout. Always takes a bit longer than expected. I do like their falafals though and their servings are really large.
Overall, great takeout place but I wouldn’t call it stellar.

My husband and I love this place. We go several times a week because the food is amazing and the staff are great. Tonight he planned a special anniversary night and the folks at the restaurant helped make it super special.

We love love love chicken maison! We always get the half chicken with the spicy lemon garlic sauce. He gets spicy hummos and salad. He prefers the spicy hummos. I get grape leaves and rice, and they are both awesome. This place is affordable, quick, and delicious. We definitely eat here once per week. Omg and the garlic sauce. YUM! Ask for extra! Enjoy!

My husband and I stopped in after a long day on the golf course. We were greeted with enthusiasm and kindness. Everyone was so helpful. I got a chicken kabob plate and he got a lamb kabob. They were cooked beautifully and felt so healthy and fresh after a long day in the sun. Will definitely be returning to this hidden gem.

I seriously love Chicken Maison but, this location hands down has the best Customer Service by far! Vanessa was so helpful and I was debating between the chicken Kabob and the Lamb and I was scared to get the Lamb and not like it since I always stick to chicken. Vanessa later comes up to me and tells me her manager (Amanda) over heard me deciding and gave me a lamb kabob to try which, was so unbelievable nice! She wanted to have me try it and when my food came I was excepting a few piece nope, she gave me a full kabob!!! That right there is customer service that’s for sure coming from someone in the service industry! The food is always fresh and so good! I am most definitely coming to this location for sure! Everyone needs to try this place out!

Where do I even begin?
The food here is so fresh and so delicious I could eat it every day, sadly they are closed on Sunday’s (today) and I am craving it so bad right now. I always order the same thing ½ spicy lemon garlic chicken with brown rice and vegetables! The spicy lemon garlic chicken is to DIE for, it is so flavorful. Now I know what you’re thinking brown rice eww, but this brown rice is so different than any other place. Different in a great way. The vegetables are perfect, fresh and just lightly steamed make it a addition to the meal.
Now onto the customer service… dun dun dun. Some of the best customer service I have experienced in awhile! I got better service here than at restaurants where I pay $ 20-​$ 30 a plate! The lady who helped me out, Amanda was is name, was very attentive to the customers and made sure that everyone had what they needed. She even gave me a free drink and baklava! From what I could see all the other cashiers were very helpful and kind to the customers. The store looked very clean, just in the 25 minutes I was there I saw people cleaning windows, sweeping floors and just making sure the store looked very clean.
I will most continue on with my 2 – 3 times a week coming here, and will be telling friends and family to stop in to try the great food, and great customer service.

This Mediterranean place is one of a kind, and as good as it gets. So far, my favorite Med cuisine.
I’ve eaten at two different locations already but the plates seem to be just as good and consistent everywhere you go, that’s always a plus.
Recommended plates are:
*Gyro plate: Gyro meat over rice, hummus with pita bread, salad and tzatziki sauce.
*Chicken Plate: Rotisserie Chicken options of ¼, ½ or Whole Chicken (Dark or White meat) also some garlic sauce.
Their meats are always juicy and flavor-​filled.
One plate is sure to fill you up, makes for a great lunch meal and then some for later.
Almost always, I’ve encountered friendly cashiers so if you ever not take-​out and dine in, you’ll get that much more of a friendlier vibe.

Food tastes fresh. Flavors are about average. But I can’t help but feel like the combo plates are filled up with… well, fillers. Like how there are tons of scallions and tomatoes in the hummus and tabbouleh. Or the fact that you get one skewer of meat and one skewer of just lame vegetables on their combo plates. Somehow, I feel like two kabob skewers on a combo plate should be like an agreed-​upon standard for fast-​Mediterranean food. It might seem like a great deal, but you really don’t get much of the stuff you WANT for the money. Tabbouleh is a separate «salad’, hummus counts as a «side» (so does rice), only one meat skewer, etc. You’re better off going to a place that will give you more of the stuff you want, and less of the random cheap fillers.

Came here with a Unilocaler friend to pick up some food for her guests I didn’t get anything to eat but from the choices on the menu looks so good even the salads as I looked at the foods the others were eating I could tell I would like it. The food smelled yummy as well. The place had a good amount of tables and they have free lemon water which was good. The staff seemed very friendly and helpful. I like to see a take out/​sit in establishment with a good amount of employees behind the counter helping and taking orders for a small place you’d expect to see one or two workers doing everything making it a bit harder when it’s busy I didn’t get that from this place. Seemed like everything was running smoothly like a take out/​dine in should be. I’ll be back to try the chicken combos they sounded yummy. More to come.

I’ve been to all the Chicken Maison locations and each one is awesome in its own way.
This Chicken Maison has the best gyro plate. Everytime I come here to dine in this dish always hits the spot.
Some of my favorite items to order: gyro plate, spicy lemon garlic chicken plate, kabob plate, Chinese chicken salad, falafel plate, and spicy lemon garlic pasta.
Those are just a few to name off, but in general you can’t really go wrong with Chicken Maison. When I order the spicy lemon garlic dishes I always ask for extra sauce. If they don’t downright hook you up with it, it’s only a measly dollar something for a huge extra serving of it, which I highly recommend ponying up for. You can pour that sucker on pretty much anything and it’s a winner.
The gyro plate is served with a few warm pitas on the side in its own basket, a side salad that’s dressed in a light vinaigrette dressing, rice pilaf, a generous portion of crispy gyro shavings, and a small dollop of hummus, and of course Tzatziki sauce sauce. It’s a huge meal to have in one sitting, so I recommend eating half and taking the rest home for another satisfying meal later in the day. Or just go by and have it when you’re very hungry and eat everything on the plate only to find yourself going home to turn on the tv, lay on the bed, then knock out from the rapidly culminating food coma. If you end up ordering a chicken plate or a kabob dish you’ll have a chance to tack on a bunch of good sides for your order. I tend to favor getting the spicy hummus, spicy coleslaw, or brown rice. From what my friends tell me, anything you get will be satisfactory, but I just tend to be partial towards my particular favorites.

I’ve been coming here for the past few years, and it never fails to make my stomach happy when I’m craving some Mediterranean. The restaurant is clean and the servers are always very friendly.
Whenever I come here, I always get the chicken wrap with garlic fries. The pita has a nice chew, and unlike Zankou’s, there’s vegetables in addition to the chicken; there’s tomatoes and lettuce. As opposed to Zankou’s, the chicken isn’t as oily but is still flavorful. Everything in the wrap is also coated in a garlic sauce. I absolutely LOVE the garlic sauce; the garlic is pretty strong and complements all of the dishes very well. If you eat there, the fries are already coated in garlic oil, which is pretty strong too. They give a lot of fries, which I usually don’t finish. All of this is only for $ 8 for a lunch; it’s a lot of delicious food for a good price.

YUMMMMY Mediterranean food for such a steal of a price. Why has it taken me SO long to try Chicken Maison?
FOOD:
I got the ¼ lemon garlic chicken with the side of steamed veggies and spicy hummus. The chicken was super moist and flavorful. They seriously don’t skimp on the seasonings here but it’s not overly salty or anything.
The chicken was a party in my mouth! A mixture of spicy and savory flavors. On top of that, the chicken was very tender. It literally fell right off the bone. It went very well with their hummus and pita. Everything was perfect all together. Although I only got the ¼ piece of chicken it was still very filling. The chicken definitely lived up to its expectations. Oh, you can’t forget the garlic sauce too. Yum.
As for the sides, I loved the steamed vegetables. You get carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, and zucchini. Everything still had fantastic texture. I hate soggy and soft steamed vegetables. This was definitely not the case here. And it went very well with the spicy hummus (which is actually spicy) and garlic sauce. Trust me, you will leave with a very satisfied and happy tummy.
I did notice that the price go up. I saw pictures on Unilocal that the chicken was a little over $ 7 but now it is $ 8.50!
SERVICE:
The food came out really quick! Even though this is a quick service restaurant, everyone was very enthusiastic, friendly, and prompt. I can’t wait to come back!

This location was the first time I tried Chicken Maison. Now they’ve expanded to a few locations, but this spot still the OG for me!
Of course, love the roasted chicken, especially with the lemon basil. Spicy garlic is solid! For some people, it might be a little too oily so if you’re not a fan of oily dressing over your chicken, the original roasted chicken is the way to go. I usually go for the half chicken, with double hummus for my sides, and that will really fill you up.
Chinese chicken salad is also a popular option, although their dressing is more on the savory side rather than the sweet side.
It’s always busy for lunch & dinner, so order via the phone!

Their food is tasty. Last time I went, I ordered a gyro special, which came with fries. Gyro was a bit dry toward the end, and had less white sauce than usual, so I walked up to the counter and asked if I could get a tad bit more of the sauce on my gyro. Sales clerk told me it was $ 1 for the extra sauce. Since I only had a few more bites of the gyro left, I did not want to pay the extra $ 1, so I passed. Then the lady sitting to the right of me also got the gyro, and she had just gotten her dish — and she asked if she can get more sauce. And the clerk just brought out a huge container of white sauce for her… for free! Why the different treatment? We literally asked for the same thing within 30 seconds of each other. At least if you’re going to treat each customers differently, don’t make it so obvious. Terrible.
