Wish I could have put a zero. Worst pedicure I have ever had. My nails look horrible and I didn’t even get to relax and enjoy a massage. There’s nothing about the pedicure I can recommend. Even their nail color selection sucks. Save your money (even if it isn’t terribly expensive), and go elsewhere!

I used to love this salon. I still really really like the lady who does the pedicures. She is awesome… but my last manicure was done by a impolite man who was in a hurry to get it over with. He globbed my polish on filling my nailbeds with polish. The polish was so thick, it didn’t harden after an hour of drying.

I love this place. Family run business. Everybody is so nice. Always a great job! I once went to the place by Ralph’s and I got a foot fungus! Never again will I stray!!!

I have gone there from time to time. I love the mother who owns it. I never got my nails done there since I am a manicurist myself so I can do my own. I was getting my hair done for a while there and it was fine in the beginning but of course things change and then I was getting poor hair cuts. My daughter goes to get her eye brows done from time to time and she does a good job. She is always very sweet and kind. Reasonable priced… You can say it’s like Fantastic Sams kind of job. You have to pay extra for shampoo and dry.

I do not understand that people say that they can do great nail art here?
They can not even do my nails right!!!
Sorry but I have never had my nails done as bad as they did it at Kathy’s.
I would love to place a picture but my nails are cut crooked and short it’s a shame.
I would have done a better job polishing myself. She needed to use a piece a paper to clean the sides and did not clean all the sides there is still polish on my toes.
I had shaved my legs in the morning as I always do and they started to burn. I do not know what kind of «soap» she used but very chemical.
Also the place does not look clean at all, There were little flies flying around and the place is very old and dirty.
Yes, the people are nice and it’s cheap but don’t you want them to do a good job?

Love Kathy’s nails! It’s a family run place and every one is very nice. In addition to nail services, they also have (limited) waxing and a full barber shop. I live in Santa Barbara but have to stop in to get my nails done at Kathy’s when I am in the So Bay. Prices are good and it’s a very friendly atmosphere.
Jennifer does amazing nail art too — she can basically do anything!

The only place aside from a place in Tustin that I know that does Japanese nail art.
This place is family run and they’re all very nice. I actually came they day that the girl who does the japanese nail art wasn’t there, but her brother did my pedi and assured me that his sister would be in the next day. The next day i came in she wasnt there, but they called her and she came in. She was really nice and my toes looked BEAUTIFUL.
I am definitely coming back here again :]
